Calling All Riders!!

I don't live with my horses; they live at my grandmother's and when I'm not there to take care of them, she will just feed them.  But I come around about every other week to help!

Have you ever gentled a mustang?

Breast collars and martingales are 2 different things that have 2 seperate functions. But I am sure you knew that.   :)

Yes, I use a breast collar (I ride primarily western). No, I have not and do not use a martingale.

Do you put protective boots on your horse when you ride?

^^ Yes, I did know that.

Anyway, no, I do not put boots on my pony when I ride because I don't do much riding that requires boots.  That, and I am training a Shetland pony, so I can't find any boots at Tractor Supply or Rural King that'll fit a pony her size.

Do you watch horse Tiktok compilations on Youtube sometimes?  (I do)

I haven't taken my horse a bath ever since I got it because I'm not there all of the time and she gets very anxious standing still for more than 15 minutes XD.  So no, they don't.

Have you ever raced your friends on horseback?

Yes! When my sister and I were kids, we would jump on our horses bareback and in halters, ride to one end of the field then race back to the barn. It was sooo much fun!

Did/Do you have a toy horse collection?

Sort of, we've gone to the lake a few times but it drops off so kinda scary for them to go deep enough to actually swim.

Have you ever trail ridden bareback?

No, the Shetland pony mare that I'm riding and training doesn't like to go trail riding on her own and she doesn't respond as well bareback than she does with a saddle.

Do you do a slip knot when tying up your horse to groom them?
