Yes but they’re old ones as they were my late grandpas.

Have you ever had your horse stop drop and roll in a horse show.
(I have and I was disqualified and told to leave)

I have not but my sister has! She was riding her pony and they were lined up to place. He decided it was a great time to snooze XD

Have you ever traveled more than an hour for a horse show, trail ride, lesson, clinic, etc?

Yes! Does moving across the country count? Hubby and I moved from California to Virginia with our 2 horses, 4 dogs, 2 cats and 6 rats in 2018. That was a hike! Horses did really well despite the very long distance.

Have you ever carried a flag on your horse?

No, I don't do any of that.

Have you ever seen the movie National Velvet?

LOOOOOOOOOOVE Breyers!  I don't have many, but I do like them, for I do Breyer Photography.

Have you ever broke your cinch?

No.

If you are taking your horse somewhere, do you saddle them before putting them in the trailer?

Nope. We use saddling at the place as a time to help the horse get adjusted. Plus they don't have to deal with any constriction on the way over. More comfy, yknow?

Have you ever done trick riding?

No, but I'd like to try someday.

Have you ever exercised a racehorse in any way?  (Taken it for a gallop around the track or lunged it, etc.)

Many times have I done ground work, especially when I get a new horse; I always do groundwork to bond a little more.

Have you ever been to a pro rodeo (either competing or just to watch)?

Yes. Animal abuse really isn't my scene though.

Have you ever ridden bridleless in a competition?

Yes! I have competed in gymkhana bareback and bridless. At one, I even competed with my sister in a 2 person event on my mare, bridleless. Those were good times!    :)    (maybe I can wrangle up a picture somewhere....)

Do you watch horse trainers on YouTube to learn about better horsemanship techniques?

YES!  When there is nothing else to do, that's what I go for.

Do you look at expensive tack and clothes that you can't afford to buy just for fun sometimes?

Meh, maybe on occassion, but it is more I am looking for something particular and I am just not happy with how expensive that something is. Example, I really wanted a working hackamore for my gelding, who I started in a halter and wanted to upgrade him to a bridle but am not ready to put him in a snaffle. I wanted this hackamore but couldn't justify the price for the gain, so I settled for this hackamore.

Anywho!   :)

Do you do the daily care for your own horse?
