But the site Horse Eden does have the Adam Auctions / Setting a Horse Free

Setting a horse free removes them from the game, but they still appear in foal lists

I know this is old but I still think it's a valuable idea. 

Maybe only lined or bred horses could be "Retired($0)/Sold-to-Trader($?)/*Become-a-Kid's-First-Horse($0)"?
That way players would still have a chance at getting an other wise good foundation that just didn't meet the creator's goals. 

*my favorite option. I feel it fits the spirit of EV.

Personally I think it would be helpful to remove the cost of dropping a horse off at the RC and increasing the price of foundation horses to encourage everyone to work together (buy from each other and breed as well). And having the option to "set the horse free" might be nice to simply get rid of horses you don't want and don't want someone else to "ruin"

I support this, I stopped breeding because there is too many horses. I've been buying horses left and right, keeping them until they pass. 

My friend took a peek to see what I am doing and he was like, " dude! That is a lot of horses. Can the rescue center keep them for a week and if they don't sell, erase them? I told him, idk, but that is a good idea. (I think).

^^^ The RC already automatically deletes horses that don’t sell after a set amount of time. I think it’s after a couple of days, but I’m not quite sure how long it is exactly.

Yes, the rescue center does delete horses. I believe it's either 5 days? maybe 7? i can't remember for sure. :)

I know people are always bashing the RC unfairly tbh! Most of my foundations of whatever breed I raise are from the Rc. I dont know why its considered "wrong" to want to have some RC or EC Foundations instead of buying from others. 

I ALWAYS start out looking at other breeders horses for sale but rarely find anything to my personal game play standard. I find a ton of hay cube stuffed young ponies often no other than 8 that arent worth the $10k conversion fee so I think meh I might as well start from scratch with Foundations. Or EC bought 117 stat 4yo up for sale for $20k. Im all,for people making money but thats also the point I Think meh start from scratch its a lot cheaper & the ponies will have at least about 180 plus stats by 4yo 

And then I Check the RC because you can guarentee another player will have dumped a load of ponies that were't the right colour/maybe lower confo than they wanted/stat spread in wrong discipline but these are perfect for what Im looking for.

I dont agree with forcing players to buy from each other as not everyone plays EV the same way or has the same breeding goals. Obviously if you want to create a club & breed/buy/swap lines then fine :) but there should still be room for those that feel they cant do so due to differing standards/ goals.

Amen Khatir! I have the same difficulties finding existing horses that fit my needs. 

EI'd appreciate a way to get rid of horses outside of the RC. Either through deletion, early retirement (which removes the horse from your horse space slots) or sending your horse off to a dude ranch/be a pasture pet/etc. I know Abbey has said she's hesitant about bringing a Shifty Jim (trader) back as that could influence pricing on the horse market, but having a place to remove horses from the game would be nice
