Group Discussion Time! Customization/Decor

Hello, my dear EVians!

I have a little task for you all! The Team got to talking about future customizatin/decoration items we'd like to add in the future. But then it hit us that we should be asking you!

Is there a decor item that you would love to see added? Capes? Bunny Ears? Sparkles? Tell us!

Please note that there is no garuntee that your suggestion will be added. This is mostly a brainstorming session.

Ok... I'm sure that there's something else I should say but, till I figure out what that is. Post away!

Unicorn horns!!

Winter blankets (not flysheets) but blankets with cute patterns on them. 

I have a couple ideas! You are 100000% allowed to add on, cause I doubt I'll be able to explain them correctly, lol-

1. More colors to horses! Mostly dapple Andalusians. I've always loved dapple colored horses, always seem to be the derpy ones. And different shades for the colors possibly?

- different shades of bay; dark bay, bay, mahogany bay/blood bay.

- lighter chestnut

- adding onto the dapple grey; fleabitten grey, rose grey.

- brindle! this always hit me as beautiful coloring + markings

2. Higher levels of showing. I5 is currently the highest level for anything higher than I believe 5,000 stats? and that to me is a little unfair, for example, a horse with 8000 or more stats does have a higher chance than a horse with 7000 or less stats.

- elite; meant for horses with stats 6,000 - 6,999

3. Clubs. Currently there's clubs who's admins and such haven't payed their monthly toll, and that gets slightly frustrating cause I do believe there's a good amount of clubs being left unpaid for. 

- after more than week or three, money should automatically be taken from the clubs bank to pay the toll.

4. Sort of like what Laureal said, winter blankets. Different colors, mostly those of what's seen as winter-y(Christmas colors). Then add some little decors; snowmen, snowflakes, bells, presents?

5. Backgrounds. Could add some animated backgrounds?(they don't have to be animated, btw, if its too much work)) Maybe for Halloween, Easter, Christmas, possibly thanksgiving.

- Halloween; jack-o-latern and bats

- Easter; a lil rabbit hopping out from under a bush to grab a Easter egg on the floor.

- Christmas; stable decorated with some presents and lights while there's some snow falling.

- Thanksgiving; possibly a turkey wiggling its tail feathers.

6. Companions. Just something sitting in the corner, on the horses back, or in-between the legs.

- puppy/adult dog; can be sitting in between the legs or in the corner smelling at the floor.

- kitten; on the horses back, in-between the legs or playing with the horses tail. for the clyde maybe playing with their feathers.

- bird; on the horses back or hanging from the mane or tail.

- goat / lamb / pig; same as the dog. the lamb/goat could be laying down or standing just like the horse and facing the player. the pig laying on its side, a little muddy, or smelling at the floor. could change if decided on younger versions.

7. More tack items? Not like saddles/bridles/halters, etc etc.

- leg wraps; different colors and patterns? (editing)

- bows? for their mane and tail (sorta adds into the decor)

We're not really looking for different horse color shades and similar suggestsions or functional game features with this discussion. That's definitley something to talk about in the future and I'll be sure to bring it up. But I love all your other suggestions! Keep'em coming!

Fly masks! Fun patterned ones like checkered or neon pink, maybe match to fly sheets or the aforementioned winter sheets. But then also really goofy ones like the giant sunglasses or ones with eyelashes. Maybe the silly ones could be April Fool's Day gifts :3 or a limited purchase on the day of. I dunno, but I'd love to see fly masks!

And maybe another silly idea would be grass or hay hanging from their mouths. That could be cute, especially if caught mid snack in like a jumping arena background :p Grass, hay, and a twig. It'd be great.

Decorative animals in the stalls! Bunnies, donkeys, dogs, cats, etc.

Maybe braided manes for the horses? This would require a lot of art, but then so would the rest of the suggestions.

Seasonal blankets, similar to what Laureal suggested, like pumpkins or leaves for fall, flowers for spring, etc.

More backgrounds!

Maybe some of the more unnatural addons, like horns or antlers.

You have falling petals, you have falling snow. I'd love to see falling leaves. Autumn is my favorite time of year so I'd love to see more decor for Fall.

Also, as a plushie collector, I'd like to see more plushies. Just sayin'.

A birthday hat! (And cake?)

I’m blanking on the name of what it’s called so here’s the concept at least:

I used to ride at this stable that would buzz off part of a horses’ winter coat on their rump into different shapes. (i.e. I rode a horse called Topper and they shaved a Top Hat on his rump.) 

Maybe a ‘sticker’ or some type of add-on instead of changing the actual coat art for each horse but showing the same effect. Also, since we have seasons maybe have it a one time thing each winter or have it only show up during the winter ‘month.’ I suppose it would depend on how much extra coding it would require.

@TruQue - I don’t think so, it’s just the shaving of fur.

A second idea:
Since there’s so many artists in the site, maybe have a special background option (more expensive? deluxe only? both? one time use? etc) that allows a user to upload their own created background for their chosen horse.

Do you mean branding?

Adding branding marks might be a cool thing to do, although if it were to show up all year long it would likely be caused by a heat or ice method, which can sometimes be a controversial topic.

I'd loooooove companions, more plushes, and braided/styled manes like were already suggested, and I think it'd take a lot of more art, so I don't really think it'd actually be added, but I think it'd be fun if certain breeds' coats grew longer during the winter. Or all breeds, idk.
