Wiki helped me with judging and we both greatly appreciated your entries! I hope you all had fun. We'll be sending out 100k to each participant to reward your efforts, and an extra 5k for each of the category winners to get your background!

Hello and welcome to the Holiday Art Contest! In this contest you’re asked to create a piece of art with a winter or holiday theme. There's not limitation on media, meaning you can create digital, traditional or written art to share with us. One post per person to be judged but please share anything you want over at the main post!

Rules
Always Credit your sources if using references, lines or bases from others.
Feel free to sell creations you make as long as they have credit on them!
One entry per person for judging, but you can create and share more on the Holiday happenings main post!

Most Creative - Forgotten Lands: We loved your entry! a great story to go with a lovely scene!
Best Effort - Midnight Outlaw: The northern Lights look amazing! Aukai looks like they're really enjoying the cool evening. 
Best Story - Horsegirl: Excellent detail! we loved your depiction of Apollo and wish him luck in his search!
Judges Choice - Renvers: The face is perfect! and it fits Tundra so well. 
Deer Creek: 15 hours! you really put your all into the detail on there and it looks excellent!
Raptor: Ontario looks like they're having a blast with the giant snowflakes. It matches your background coloring so well!



Prizes

Entering! Gonna go ahead and get started!

I was doing a large-art at first, but I changed my mind and did a tag instead!



The base is by shadowsthyme on DA, and everything else is by me. The tag features my character Apollo

Apollo is now all grown up, and is alone. He's searching for a perfect mare to start a herd with. He walks through the night in the heavy snow. A crescent moon and the Northern Lights light up the sky enough for him to be able to see where he is going. He passes a cabin with smoke coming out of the chimney, but tries to get away from there as fast as possible not knowing the danger behind those walls. He won't find a mate that night, but he had a great midnight stroll while it was snowing.

Here's mine! A little piece I just whipped up featuring my character Ontario.
I'm not going to be doing an official sale but if anyone would like a recolor I'll sell them for 40k each or 1 EVC for three!

Here's my entry, just a quick tag of my holiday character Tundra

just finished my entry:

My old girl Slinky waiting patiently for the snow to die down a bit. c:
it's my first time going fully lineless so there's still room for improvement, but i'm very happy with how it turned out. I might also use this in a sale later. ^^

I'm going to enter with a Large Art! Will edit later with art! :)
