Snow thanked Vinn and watched in amusement as she made her way out of the stable. "That mare's always looking for trouble, isn't she?" The filly joked. She looked at Diva for a quick second before continuing with the grass at her hooves.

"Yep," she said looking up at Vinn. Diva turned to look at the track for a second before returning to grazing. She knew in a few months she would be back on the track. She could only wish those few months wouldn't last a lifetime as they seemed to be doing right now. But, she just had to heal first. Hopefully once healed, and she could be ridden again, she wouldn't need much training and therapy.

When a groom finally arrived, Vinn nickered a greeting and nudged him. He seemed to get the message, as he laughed and turned on the hose. After a well deserved bath and grooming session, the groom led Vinn to the pasture, where she had a lesser chance of escaping. Vinn trotted up to find Diva and Snow, and greeted them. Vinn grazed a moment, and looked up to watch the setting sun.

Diva greeted Vinn when she trotted up to her and Snow. She went back to grazing for a little bit. The filly looked up when she noticed her friend did, and watched the sunset. "It's so beautiful. I've never really seen a sunset, at least not like this," she said with her breath taken away. Diva just stood there watching the sun go down, and seeing all the beautiful colors in the sky.

Snow stared at Diva in amazement. "Are you kidding? Sunsets are wonderful, aren't they?" Snow looked up at the hues of pink, orange, red, and blue that overtook the sky longingly. "It's always worth it, at the end of the day, to watch the wonderful colors blend together until it becomes dark."

Vinn nodded her head. “I agree, beautiful end to a day.” As the last of the color faded from the sky Nia appeared with a lead rope and halter to return her to her stall. Vinn was tired, but didn’t settle down to quickly once in her stall. Instead she paced and ate hay into the late hours of the night, itching to go outside.

Snow was led back to her stall along with Vinn. The groom made sure she had plenty of food and water for the night and gave her a few praises before closing her stall door and leaving the stable. "Today was quite the day" She mumbled to herself. She had to admit she was very proud of herself. I hope I keep improving. Maybe I can rise my way to the top one day, she thought as she drifted off to sleep.

"They really are beautiful. I was always in a area where I couldn't see it," Diva spoke like she doesn't care about her past anymore. She was led into the her stall shortly after her friends were. The filly ate some of her hay before falling asleep. Diva was back to sleeping while standing, since she couldn't for the past two weeks cause of her injury. She fell asleep quickly, and dreamed of her racing again. Better than ever making a combat in her career. Her dream.
It was now one month since the accident and Diva was completely healed. There was a scar that ran down her leg, but she didn't mind. Charlotte came into the stable and led Diva to go get tacked up. This would be the first time she would be ridden since the day of the accident. It was weird wearing tack again. Hopefully I do well Diva thought. Another weird thing was that Alaina wanted to ride the filly. Diva was used to being ridden by Hernando. No one else. The filly hoped she would be led to the track, but instead she was led into the small indoor arena. Come on I'm healed. Put me on the track. She was anxious, and perky. Diva wanted to run, but clearly couldn't do it in this small indoor arena.

Before Snow was taken out to a round pen by one of the trainers, she wished Diva luck, promising the filly would do wonderful. She was now trotting along with a lead rope and a trainer yelling commands at her. This trainer is horrid, why did they stick me with her, she thought, snorting in irritation. I think it's about time I take another lesson from Vinn. Snow stopped trotting, which earned her a few curses from the trainer, and lifted her head up. She began to throw her head around in an attempt to make the trainer drop the lead rope. It worked and Snow bolted out, jumping over the fence, and galloped back to the stable.

Once Diva was inside the arena, Alaina mounted her. It felt strange having someone on her back again. It has been almost two months. Alaina started with a walk around the small arena. Diva did have a bit of a different stride from her healed injury, but that was OK. The filly picked up to a trot on command. I know what it's like to be ridden. I don't need to be doing this. Put me on the track. I'm ready! She thought to herself, but she listened. After about an hour of changing gaits on command, Alaina unmounted the filly. James agreed it was time to see how she would do on the track. Sure she was fast, but would she be a different racer with the accident?
James mounted Diva, and Alaina led her onto the track. Finally! Today is the day I've been waiting for so long! she thought to herself excitedly. Diva was trotting excited that she was finally going on the track. Once in the gate, Diva calmed down to focus. She didn't know whether or not she wouldn't be as good as she was before the accident. Some horses weren't the same after an injury. She was caught off guard by noticing Snow, who had seemed to pick up a thing or two from Vinn.

Snow entered the stable and into her stall where she happily munched on some hay from her net. Some of these humans don't know what's best for them, she thought angrily. It seemed to be only 15 minutes when a groom came into her stall, shaking his head and muttering something as he took her lead rope and began to lead her outside. She fully expected to be taken back into the round pen with the trainer, but that didn't happen. Instead, she was taken into the pasture and told she could gallop around. Apparently, the groom thought that if she let loose some of her energy she might be easier to work with in the round pen. She doubted that, but she took to galloping nonetheless.

Diva focused before the gate opened. Her footing was off when she bolted out of the gate. She tried to fix herself, and managed. The filly knew she was a bit slower, but she just focused on running. Oh how good it felt to be back on the track. Once finished she slowed down, but not too quickly. James hoped off, and led her to the stable. She was untacked, and put into the pasture. Diva wasn't so happy. She knew she wasn't as fast as before.

Snow watched Diva from the pasture. She noticed it took her a while to gain her footing in the beginning, and she was proud to see how she got through the track. Nice job Diva, she mentally praised the filly. She would have to remember to praise her aloud when she was taken back to the stable.

Vinn watched, happy and content with her usual rider, Nia. Vinn watched Snow from a far-away round pen, and nickered in enjoyment. Snow appeared annoyed with the new trainer, which is fair. She seemed quick and tight on the reins, soemthing not every horse enjoyed. Later that day, Vinn chatted with Snow. “A horse that doesn’t like it’s trainer doesn’t preform... I think they will notice and pair you up with an actual rider this time. Just don’t give up on it.” Vinn whinnied slyly and stamped her hooves in her cramped stall.

Once finished being groomed, Diva was put into the pasture to cool down. She just stood in the corner of the pasture nearest to the track. The wind blew in her mane and tail as she just looked at the track. The filly sighed. She knew she lost her footing, and she wasn't as fast as she used to be. Diva was glad to a least be back on the track.
