"I hope so. That's the first trainer they tried me with and she was a pain. It seemed like she enjoyed watching me get irritated" Snow shook herself at the thought of the trainer, who she guessed was chatting about with one of the stable hands. "I suppose I'll just have to continue getting on their nerves until they find me a decent trainer" She told Vinn.

Diva was led back into her stall before night fell. She was queit, and kept to herself. She was grateful to be back on the track, she just wasn't the same racer. The filly had her meal, and fell asleep shortly after. She had dreams where she was still racing, but others were passing her. Instead of the other way around.
That morning Diva was put in the pasture. Instead of grazing, or galloping around like any horse would do, Diva practiced. She kept imagining herself in the starting gate. The filly imagined she was on the track. Diva imagined everything only to improve on her starts. She did it over and over for hours. She wouldn't stop until she got it. Only a few hours in she collapsed exhausted. She had to get it right. Diva was so close. The filly got back up, and went to try again only to fall.

“I would agree.” Vinn nickered, content with herself. The following morning Vinn was taken to the indoor arena, where a treadmill awaited her. What the heck is this thing? Nia, on cue as always said, “This is the new treadmill Vinn, and you get to be the first to test it out! We’ll just start on hooking up and getting off today- how about that?” Nia took Vinn onto the treadmill and hooked the safety attachments up to her. After Vinn started to get used to it, the duo called it a day and returned to the filly stables. Just as they were returning, Nia saw Diva collapse in the pasture.

Diva had to kept trying. She didn't care if she was exhausted. Just one more time! She thought, but her body wouldn't listen. She said to herself with her legs aching trying to catch a few breaths. She had no choice, but to give up. Diva stayed standing, but was shaking. After about 20 minutes, she slowly walked to the fence. The filly was so close, but she couldn't do it anymore.
An hour later Diva was led back into her stall for the night. She kept quiet and tried to stay standing in her stall. Diva drank all of her water, and ate little food.

Snow sighed internally as she was led away from her stable mate buy another trainer. Let's see if this one is any better, she thought, irritated. After about an hour or so, she had to admit the trainer was better than yesterday's, but not much. This one, at least, didn't scream like a wild chimpanzee.
Snow was turned out to the pasture shortly after Diva had been taken in. She'd hoped for a chance to ask Diva how she was doing, but she supposed it would have to wait as right now, she was eager to let the rest of her energy out.

Diva had eventually fell asleep that night. She regretted beating herself up like that. All she wanted was to be a champion, but she wasn't the same on the track anymore. Hopefully her body would feel better tomorrow. There were no dreams that night. There were a few times where she woke up in the middle of the night. One time she walked to the edge of her stall, and looked outside the stable. It was beautiful. The moon, the stars, the fireflies, and the music made by the creatures. She eventually went back to sleep until morning.
The filly felt better the next morning. Her legs ached, but not as much. Diva was eating her meal waiting for someone. She wanted to get on that track. She was eager to get on that track, to race. She remembered all those people who came to the stable to see her. Was it because of the race, or the accident? Diva hoped it was more because of the race then the accident. When she was finished with her meal, she waited for someone to bring her back up on the track.

During the night, Snow had still wanted to talk to Diva, but as the filly had already fallen asleep, she decided to wait for another chance to talk to her. When she woke up, she saw Diva eating her meal, and she nickered happily. "Hey Diva! How's everything going with training and your leg?" She had a few more questions but she just stuck with that one for the meantime.

"Training is fine, and all that's left is the scar running down my leg," Diva said not telling Snow what she did to herself the day before. When she was done with her meal, Diva turned to look out of her stall. She wanted someone to bring onto the track. Surely her starts would be better now. The filly wanted to race, but she had to go through training once again before she could race again. Everyone knew she was healed, but the trainers and riders still had her take it easy. Diva wasn't going to take it easy anymore. She wanted to race. To feel the wind in her mane, the thundering of her hooves. But, that wasn't going to happen any time soon.

Snow watched Diva with a curious expression. "Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be out there soon. Try your best during training but don't overdue yourself. The more prepared they see you the quicker you'll be out and galloping about. Just hang on tight and I'll see you in the big leagues someday" She snorted, allowing the stable hand that had entered her stall to clip a lead rope onto her halter. "See you in a bit" she bid Diva goodbye as she was led out.

"Yeah your right. Cya," she said as her friend was being led away. The thought came to her. Would she actually race in the big leagues? Very few horses get that far. Would she be one of them? Diva hoped so.
Within the hour Diva was back on the track. Today they were going to have her on the track all day instead of a quick run. James noticed she had better starts then the other day. Diva was improving a lot in a short amount of time. She was almost where she was before the accident.

After a while of being taken into the indoor arena and round pens, Snow was taken out into the large outdoor arena where she would be tested at a canter and gallop outside. At least I'm going a bit fast, she thought as she cantered along. Her rider wasn't bad but Snow felt she didn't try hard enough. When Snow started acting up, her rider just got quiet and stayed still until she cooperated. It worked, of course, but she found it annoying nonetheless. She wanted to take a glance out to see if she could spot Diva or Vinn but she was being told to keep her head straight, which annoyed her more.

The filly was ridden around the track a few time, but Hernando and their trainer James focused mainly on her starts. It was weird being trained all over again. Diva didn't like it, but she had no choice. Maybe she still had some of her attitude in her. The filly wanted to race. Maybe not one as high class as her first race, but she wanted to race. She didn't care what class it was, even though she preferred the high class races, Diva just wanted to race. How much was that to ask?

When Snow had begun to grow tired and slower, she was turned out to the pasture where she once again tried to get a good look at Diva. She nodded along and kept mental notes on her progress, though she knew she had no reason to. She then walked to one corner of the pasture, under the shade of the large Oak tree, and began to graze.

Diva had a lot of energy, so she was on the track practically all day. At the end of the day, she was groomed and led out to the pasture. She cantered around the pasture for a bit, still enjoying the fact that she could feel the wind in her mane once again. The filly was at peace, no distractions, no drama, no incidents. It felt nice having the stables quiet for once, and to finally just be a horse. Racing with the wind. The only thing her scar gave her was the reminder of what happened. Diva was just glad to be doing what she always loved to do: race with the wind. Even at her old home, she would gallop in the pasture. Nothing would stop her, well accept for an injured leg of course.
When Diva didn't have the energy to continue cantering and galloping, she slowed to a walk. The filly walked over to her stablemate, and grazed peacefully beside her friend. She had been on the track all day, and it felt nice to take a break. A little bit later, Diva looked up at the colt pasture alongside theirs. Those colts were always a bit loud, and annoying. Diva didn't pay attention to them long, and went back to grazing alongside Snow.

Snow lifted her head lazily and pounded her hoof excitedly when she saw Diva. "Diva! I hope everything went well. You know, I think that we should race sometime. When you get further along your training, of course!" She added quickly. "I just think it'd be very fun, we haven't raced against each other for a while" She turned her attention to a stable hand that passed by the fence briefly. "It makes me wonder when I'll get along to race against others like you did. The trainers say it's only a matter of time before I'm out on the track. It won't be very advanced, I suppose, but It'd be my first time racing against other horses that aren't you or Vinn."
