Not by doing that, but I have used fences and other various objects to scramble on bareback, I even used my old mare's front knee on the side I was trying to mount from to help propel me on, lol. She couldn't have cared less.

Have you ever done a sliding stop with a horse before? (I did once, it was fun, lol.)

I've never tried reining, but maybe someday.

Have you ever braided flowers into your horse's mane or tail?

No, but I would love to sometime. Hopefully my mare gets over her fear of water and we can try it.

Have you ever taken your dogs with you on a trail ride?

No, our dog doesn't do well in public and she's never really been close to horses enough to really know them.  She's always stayed on the other side of the fence and when we did keep our horses here, it was only for a year or two.

Have you ever had a horse slip on a rock or something when on a trail ride?

Yes, it's very rocky and hilly in some spots so it occasionally happens. Thankfully, my main riding horse is sure footed as all get out.

Have you ever worked cattle?

Not on horseback, but yes, I have.  We own a small herd and we're going to ship all of them out to the sale barn this Sunday, I think, and buy a few calves.  (Their all pretty old).

Have you ever been to a horse camp?  (I haven't)

yes, but the horse I was riding, my "baby", was being a butt and tried taking the stirrup from me ;-;

Have you ever fallen off a horse and had it look back at you like you're crazy or did something wrong?

Nope, every time I've fallen someone had to catch my horse, they haven't bothered to stay close to the place where something scary happened XD

Have You ever done a cup of water test? (as in, you're riding with a cup of water in hand and try to hold it stable enough so the water doesn't tip out of the cup)

No, there are no stables around me that I can work at.  But I'm also in my young teens, so I can't legally drive to wherever I want to work in the first place.

Have you ever dressed up your horse for Halloween?  (A friend and I are thinking about dressing two of mine up together)

No, but I have for Christmas! The farm I took English lessons at has a Christmas parade every year so we would deck out the ponies and horses and ride them up and down the road.

Have you ever ridden in a parade?
