Ahanu
Sleep sleep sleep sleep - this really isn't helping at all. Um... Something to think - His thoughts froze when her fingers slid through his hair. That was... nice. Really nice. Nobody had done that before, except his mom a long time ago. The soft humming reached his ears. Moments later he was slack, having relaxed quite quickly. She's amazing. Ahanu smiled faintly, allowing himself to just let go of his worries for the moment. A shiver of pleasure rippled down his spine every time she let her hand glide over the mess he called his hair. He slowly slid into sleep.

Charity
Charity looked down at him, feeling his body relax while she slipped her hands through his hair. She looked back up at the forest, watching a few birds while she hummed.

Ahanu
His dream was simple. And not at all bad. He stood in the forest, a rippling stream nearby. A pretty song filled the air. Beside him stood his parents, and they watched the leaves move with the wind together.

Charity
Charity shifted her weight so she was in a more comfortable position, stopping her humming momentarily as she examined a squirrel nibbling on something. She started up her humming again, keeping her hand running through his hair slowly.

Ahanu 
He was talking with his parents. He told them about his new rats. They mentioned a story he had almost forgotten with his first rats. Ahanu nervously brought up Charity, but they were supportive and seemed excited to meet her. "I'll show you!" Ahanu turned around to look for Charity. Confused, as she was missing, he looked back at his parents. He muffled a scream. They were zombies. It was only after they both lay with bullets in their heads did Ahanu realize the music had stopped.

Charity
Charity watched the squirrel scuttle up the tree with a nut in its mouth, going up higher and hugher until it was out of sight.

Ahanu
He ran. The silence was overpowering, frustratingly terrifying. His hands shook, the gun that had killed his parents zombified forms hanging from his belt. Where was Charity? Night fell suddenly, but then he realized it was a storm. Lightning flashed and the clouds poured down rain. The rain turned to hail and it pelted his skin. He thrashed through a thorn bush. 
Ahanu's sleeping form whimpered once, a pause, and then a soft groan. A pause. More soft groaning. Luckily he did not thrash during nightmares, simply lying still throughout them. 

Charity
Charity furrowed her brow and looked down at him, stopping her humming again and examining him. She softly ran her hand across his cheek, rubbing the side of his neck with the back of her hand after she did so.

Ahanu
The hail stopped. Lightning flashed, striking a tree ahead of him. It caught fire, and as it fell it set other trees ablaze. Ahanu pivoted, forced to run back the way he came. He passed his parents, the sight of them making him sick to the stomach. Suddenly he was facing a wall of zombies, all intent on him. With fire ahead and zombies behind, Ahanu didn't know what to do. His parents lay to the side, and he didn't want to pass them again.

Charity sighed, hoping whatever he was dreaming wasn't too bad, although she couldn't be too sure by his groaning. She traced nothing in particular on his neck with her nails, still softly so it wouldn't bother him.

Ahanu 
His uncertainty would kill him. Appropriate. The fire and zombies were about to fall on him simultaneously when he jerked awake. He gave a relieved sigh to find it wasnt real. Ahanu lifted his arm off his eyes. Charity. It was all a bad dream.

Charity
Charity tilted her head at Ahanu, concern etching her eyes. "You okay?"

Ahanu
"Yeah. I just had a bad dream," he reassured with a small smile.

Charity wasn't comply convinced, but she figured she shouldn't press the matter any further. She nodded and looked back up at the trees.

Outlaw 
She heard Charity and Ahanu on the deck as she returned her medical kit to its drawer. She returned to her bed as she felt the pills start working, pulling her cloak over her to serve as a blanket.
