Calling All Riders!!

No I haven't I've never taken care of a horse, I've just competed and rode.

Have you ever rode bareback?

(I have once on a pony when I was way too big to ride it.)

So many times, several times on lesson horses but mostly on my gelding, he loves it :D

Have you ever ridded a palomino?

Yes I have once and he was very big, he was quite tall too!

Have you ever seen a gypsy vanner?

Yes, I went to the Kentucky Horse Park and there were a bunch of different breeds there, including Gypsies.

Have you ever gotten in trouble for doing something dangerous/sketchy on horseback?

Not with my parents, and not in trouble per say, but my riding instructor has scolded me more than once for doing dangerous (and fun, hehe) stuff on horseback (also don't worry, this was on my horses, not the lesson horses, lol). xD



Have you ever ridden a horse at night?

Yes a few times.  Even though I'm more of a "daylight person," it was still pretty fun.

Have you ever ridden down a creek bed on horseback?

Yes I have, on a boring trail ride on a mule at some stables which isn't very good.

Have you ever done a course called keyhole? (western riding)

No I haven't done that one, I've seen the pattern though, looks fun!


Have you ever done a course called The Big T? (another western/gymkhana one)

No, I haven't done many western gymkhana games.

Have you ever taught someone to ride?  (Whether it was the basics, some tips, etc).

No I haven't

(Previous question, I actually have done Big T because I used to compete in gymkhana, until I moved out of state but I loved it and everyone there.)

Have you ever ridden an appy?

No, but we did have some driving Appys at one point.

Have you ever played a horse-related board game like Horse-Opoly, Herd Your Horses, etc?

Yes, I've played both of those board games and they are super fun! 

If you got to choose what your dream horse looked like, what would it look like?

prob a buckskin varnish blanket appy

Yes I've ridden Cooper barebare back lots of times! :) - That is terrible that your trainer made you do that, especially if the horse had hoof problems. 

Have you ever trained a horse or trained your own horse?

No, I've never fully trained my own horse but I have finished a green horse and I'm going to be working with another horse this summer who hasn't been in work for a long while.

Have you done any roping?  (Even if it wasn't competitively).
