Sylvia
"Trouble's my middle name." Actually it was Charlotte, but that wasn't the point.

Outlaw
"Good to hear. Welcome to Lightning Bar, if there's anything you need simply let me know. If you'd like I'll take care of your horse and Edelweiss can take you on into kitchen," she motioned to the girl next to her to specify who Edelweiss was. "Edelweiss is our cook, and an extra rider when needed." She added.

Kitty
The knock on the door turning out to be nothing more than wind striking the wood, she stifled a yawn as she made her way to the stables to check on her mare. She noticed Outlaw talking to a woman who handed her what looked like a resume. Oh shoot, she thought un-ironically, for that reminded her of her recently acquired position at the saloon. Glancing at the sky, she thought it might already have cost her her job to be missing like she was, but figured it was worth an attempt to make it back. She surveyed the damage on her saddle which was hanging on a rail. Still unusable. She sighed, thinking of the inevitable soreness that would result after galloping bareback for a few hours. She led out her mare and swung astride. She tried to avoid Outlaw on the way out; she seemed busy with the new girl.

"Alright." Sylvia gave her old draft a kiss before following Edelweiss.

Outlaw
She took the reins of the draft, then seeing Kitty on her way out, stopped and called out to her.

Edelweiss
"Right this way." She said with a smile, setting off towards the kitchen with easy strides, the basket of eggs swinging gently from her arm. "So what brought you to decide to work here?" She questioned Sylvia in a friendly manner.

Kitty
Hearing Outlaw's voice behind her, she turned her horse around and walked several paces towards her.

"I like ranch work. Used to work on my old man's farm 'fore we had to sell it. 'Sides, there's lot less drunk idoits runnin' 'round a ranch than a bar. I'm a tavern singer if ya didn't know. Had to hire a new one to check this place out."

Johnny
Johnny looked up as Edelweiss entered the kitchen with someone else.

"There's a spare saddle in the tack shed. I'll grab it for ya." She simply said to Kitty before leading the horse to an empty corral and letting it loose after pulling the tack off. She carried the tack into the tack shed, placed it on an empty rack, then grabbed one of the spare saddles and blankets and carried it outside to Kitty. "It's older, but still in good shape. Lot better 'en ridin bareback." She said to the girl.

Edelweiss
"Oh cool." She said. "This is Johnny, Sandy, and Cherry." She said as they entered the kitchen, motioning to each as she said their names. "This is Sylvia." She informed them, setting the basket of eggs on the counter in the kitchen and going about getting breakfast started.

"Howdy, y'all!" Sylvia took a seat at the table.

Johnny
Johnny stroked Glove as he watched the new girl.

Kitty
She nodded silently and dismounted. As she took the offered saddle and blanket she said "Thank you," quietly to Outlaw in a slightly apologetic tone, and turned to start tacking up the mare. She couldn't tell if it was because she was hurrying or rather stalling, but either way her fingers were more in the way rather than of any use and she messed up the cinch twice before she mounted up and set off in a lope toward town, only looking back once.

Outlaw
She rolled a cigarette and lit it as she watched Kitty ride off, then turned and walked to the main ranch building to give the new report to the boss. She went up the steps to the porch and knocked on the door. Upon hearing Red call "Come in" she entered the building, closing the door behind her, and walking into the office. "Got me a bunch of hands. Gonna start bringing the cows in closer to the yard today. I'll rebuild the barn after we're done with the cows." She reported to Red Tanner, the elderly, worried owner of the Lightning Bar. "Sounds good. Do what you think is best." He replied. "I heard shots somewhere on our range last night?" He added questioningly. "They figured no one would be patrolling. They was wrong. They decided we deserved their horses as payment." She replied. "Alright then. Tell Edelweiss to bring me breakfast whenever she has time." He said, smiling slightly. She nodded and left the building, heading towards the corrals. She'd saddle the horses they'd use today then grab breakfast.

Edelweiss
She fried up a plate full of eggs and another plate with bacon and set the two plates and a pot of fresh coffee on the table. She whistled softly as she bustled about the kitchen getting plates and forks for everyone, and set these on the table. "Help yourselves!" She said cheerfully. "Put your dishes in the basin of water there once your done." She added, nodding at the basin she was referring to.

"Probably wouldn't be hard to guess," Walt said, dishing himself some breakfast, "but Cherry and I came across the pond."

Sandy
He took a plate and filled it with food, then sat down and silently began eating, listening to the conversations around him while he did so. His green eyes followed Edelweiss as she took a plate of food and cup of coffee and headed out towards the main house with him. He idly wondered a bit about the owner, but was quickly distracted by the good food.

Outlaw
She led out Spook, her amber champagne medicine hat paint mare, and swiftly threw tack on the big horse with the ease of long practice. She tied her lasso to the saddle, then went and pulled out horses for the rest of them, and tacked those as well. They where all good, solid stock, faster then the horses found on most ranches but with good cow and mountain sense. She checked the tack over once more, then put out her cigarette and strode towards the backdoor leading to the kitchen.

"Mexico," he said softly, getting a cup of coffee and some bacon. He slipped a piece of it to Glove and wondered if cats could drink coffee. Probably not.

Sylvia
"Ya mean like England? Well, ain't that somethin'!" These people seemed a little familiar to her, she just couldn't place it... Oh, of course! They were the two from the tavern the other day. Great.
