Kitty
She whirled around, startled. "I-I just needed some fresh air.." she lied, glancing up at the sky. "Full moon tonight.." she murmured, trying to redirect the conversation as she listened to the clatter of the horse's hooves fading into the sounds of the night.

Outlaw
She glanced at the sky then turned her eyes back to Kitty. "Best get some sleep. Be a ruckus tomorrow." She simply said, then walked on silent feet to the corrals and slipped a hackamore onto Legend, her silver grullo stud. She hefted the saddle and blanket that Sandy had brought to the corral for her, and swung it smoothly onto the 17hh horse's back, cinching it up and buckling the breast-collar with the easy movements of long experience. She led Legend out of the corral, closed the gate behind her, then, taking the rifle from where she'd leaned it against the rail, swung into the saddle, and booted the grullo into a high lope after Sandy. She caught up to him swiftly, and the two grimly rode on in the night, headed for the favoured grazing area of the cattle at a swift jog.

Edelweiss
She finished her clean-up and readying the kitchen for the 'morrow, then retired to her hut, slipping silently into her bedroom and getting ready for the night. She took one last look out at the window, then slipped into bed, and fell into a deep sleep.

The Bar 7 hands made no attempt to be quite as they gathered the Lightning Bar cattle to rustle, confident the barn fire would ensure no one would be riding tonight. They were wrong... the two watchers lay silently on the hill sheltered by rocks, their horses safely on the other side of the crest. The moon the sole spectator to the scene, the rifles where sighted, and then with a tensing of fingers, yells went out, and once the smoke and gunfire had cleared, it was to the sight of empty saddles and horses standing wide eyed, and the hard pounding of retreating hooves. The silent figures stood. After words where exchanged, one mounted his horse and set off for the ranch. The other swung onto a silvery grullo, and rode down into the meadow to gather the horses and bury the dead... An hour before sunrise Outlaw returned to the ranch, silently unsaddling her mount and the horses gathered as the wages of sin. She slipped with well practiced stealth into the bunkhouse where the rest lay sleeping, and slid into her own bunk for a couple minutes of rest. The sun, making its appearance an hour later, saw no signs telling tale of the night's event.

Outlaw
She silently rolled out of bed with the sun, the first up as was her custom. She quietly walked to the kitchen, and started up pot of coffee. The rest would be wakening soon, and any decent cowhand needed coffee to start the day. She went and tended to the horses as the coffee was brewing. Once they where taken care of she inspected the new horses gained the night before. "Good stock." She murmured to herself, walking back to the kitchen and pouring herself a cup of coffee. She took a sip then set it on the table while pulling on her chaps and tying her lasso to her belt. The guns and hat where already on, as they where put on the instant she woke. She took another swig of coffee, and watched the sun continue its rise through the open door of the kitchen.

Cherry
Cherry sighed and opened her eyes slowly. She hadn't slept very well last night, but the sun was already rising, and she wasn't going to be able to sleep anymore, so she quietly crept out of bed. After she got dressed, she crept to the kitchen.

Johnny
Johnny felt something wet and rough scrape across his face. His eyes snapped open to come face to face with a pair of green eyes and nearly screamed. Glove jumped off his chest and moved to sit by the door. "Cómo...?" How did she even get in here? Glove meowed and Johnny got up to open the door, jumping out of the way just in time to avoid stepping on his pillow, which was now a bed for two little kittens. "Ah! Lo siento, lo siento!" Johnny stumbled over to the door and exited the old bunkhouse. Glove followed him across the ranch to the current bunkhouse. Johnny tried and failed to shoo her off before he went into the kitchen, but eventually gave up and let her in.

Sylvia
Sylvia saddled up her horse first thing in the morning and headed out.

George
George entered a tavern and headed over to the bar.

Kitty
She had not been able to sleep all night, so it had been a relief when she saw the sun gently rising on the horizon, giving her eyes an excuse as to why they were open. She had heard the muffled gunshots last night, indeed she had followed the two a little farther up the ridge, before turning back when the fear of being caught by Outlaw had caught up with her, and then the gunshots began. The sound itself did not frighten her, but it brought back memories that she thought she was prepared for but was clearly still aching from. So, she had left, in a little bit more of a hurry than she had been, but even as the last shots faded into the blackness of the night, the echoes had continued to reverberate throughout her skull, lingering into the latest hours as she futilely tried to sleep. Now, as the golden light flooded into the room, last night was momentarily forgotten, and she managed a smile, until a knock at the door startled her again.

Outlaw
Her eyes snapped to focus on Cherry as the woman came into view. "Mornin Cherry. By the look of you I assume you didn't sleep well?" She questioned quietly, setting her coffee on the table and rising to get two more coffee cups as Johnny also appeared. She set the cups and coffee pot on the table then retook her seat, nodding a greeting to Johnny as well. Her eyes flickered to the cat that followed him, but she said nothing, simply taking another swig of the bitter black liquid she called coffee and glancing out the door again to judge the time. She made her coffee true to western standard; black and strong enough to float a horseshoe.

Edelweiss
She awakened and stretched before slipping out of bed and getting out the royal blue tiered Spanish-style dress she would wear that day. She brushed out her mass of fiery red hair as she gathered undergarments, then slipped into her clothes and pulling on her hand-tooled brown boots, leaving her hair open. She quickly made her way to the kitchen, some of the worry leaving her as she saw Outlaw sipping coffee, seemingly unharmed. She smiled and gave a cheery "Good morning!" to Cherry and Johnny as she entered. She took a reed basket from one of the cupboards, and went back out, crossing the well-kept yard to the kitchen coop, and opening the hatch to let the hens and rooster out before going in to find what eggs she could.

Sandy
He woke slowly and opened his eyes. Outlaw's bunk was empty, and he idly wondered whether she'd slept at all or just already woke up as he quietly slipped on his boots and flipped on his gun belt. Hearing the low murmur of voices in the kitchen, he donned his hat and headed towards it, quietly entering and closing the door dividing it from the bunkhouse behind him. Outlaw nodded hello and motioned towards the cupboard holding the cups. He got a cup and sat down across from her, filling his cup with coffee and taking a sip. Good coffee, he mused to himself.

Cherry
Cherry smothered a yawn. "Not quite," she said, sitting down at the table for a moment. "You?"

Walt
Walt hurried to get dressed for the day, making sure all his belongings were accounted for. Cherry probably hadn't slept well - she was having trouble with that lately. With that thought, he headed to the kitchen.

Outlaw
"Good enough" she replied, leaving out the part of only getting an hour of sleep. "Bed not comfy enough?" She added questioningly.

Johnny
Glove jumped up on one of the chairs and Johnny careful shooed her off. He took his own cup of coffee and sat down. "Good mornin'."

Sylvia
Sylvia rode up to the ranch. She looked around before waving at a red-haired girl. "This Lightnin' Bar?" she called out.

Cherry
"No, no. Bed was fine. I just... haven't slept well recently." Cherry gave Outlaw what she hoped was a convincing expression.

Outlaw
"I see" she simply murmured, rising to her feet and slipping out the door as she heard someone call. She came out in front of the bunkhouse, behind the rider, who she saw to be woman, and replied in a slow drawl, "Depends who's asking." Her hands hung lazily near her guns. With what was going on, she was taking no chances.

Sylvia
"Sylvia Bang." That was one way to address new employees, She thought.

"What can I help you with, Ms. Bang?" She questioned. Edelweiss came over to stand next to her and hear what was going on, her basket of eggs hung over one arm, and flashed the woman a cheerful smile.

Sylvia
"Saw ya ad the other day and thought I'd dropped by." Sylvia dropped down from her horse and straighted up her hair. She held out a signed work card from a past ranch job. "As ya can see here I have previous ranch experience. I can do just bout anything."

Outlaw
She took the card and after looking it over, she handed it back. "I'm guessing you are aware there is a high chance of shooting trouble on this job then, Ms. Bang?" She questioned.
