Cherry
Cherry dropped her gaze to the ground after she stopped talking. At Edelweiss's words, she couldn't help but smile a little. That girl reminds me so much of myself. She stayed like that for a few more minutes before she went inside again.

Johnny
"Gra- Thank you." Johnny took the bowl and walk out. He found the cats sheltering beside the bunkhouse and placed the bowl down. The gray and white cat hesitantly approached. He sat down as she began drinking. "Hola, gatito," he whispered to it. The cat quickly finished and looked up at Johnny. After a few seconds it got closer and brushed up against him. "Oh!" He chuckled. "Gracias amiga." As he watched the cat return to her kittens, he decided that he should name them. After some consideration, Johnny named them after some of his favorite English words. Glove and her two kittens, Potato and Hat.

Outlaw
She glanced up as the setting sun cast her shadow on the ground and threw her into a reflective wave of reds, yellows, pinks, and oranges. She swore softly to herself. She had stuff to do tonight, and this tack to clean up before she could do it. She straightened and strided over to the large shed that had at one time served as a tack shed. She tried the door, swearing mentally to herself again when it refused to budge. Instead of taking time to find something to pry it open with, she opened the western way, by taking a step back and slamming one of her boot clad feet forcefully against it. The kick did its job, sending the door flying open. She stepped inside and surveyed it. It would do for now. She then hurried back to the tack pile and began bringing tack into the shed, placing the tack sets on the numerous saddle posts and hanging the bridles and reins on the nails above their respective saddles. She had finished the job in a couple minutes, and exited the shed, closing the door, which was none the worse for her kick, behind her then stopping off the porch and watching the sunset while rolling and lighting a smoke.

Walt
Walt noticed that Cherry was back in the kitchen. He got up to go talk to her. "Are you okay?" he asked, stopping her by the door. Cherry sighed. "I'm fine," she replied,  quiet enough that no one else could quite hear. "Sit back down and keep your mouth shut about it. I don't want everyone to know just yet." Walt opened his mouth to protest, but his sister turned him around and gave him a gentle shove toward the table. Walt sat down obediently.

Johnny
Johnny stroked the cat's head one last before picking up the empty bowl and going back into the kitchen. Johnny handed the bowl back with another thank you, and just stood there again. He was pretty sure it was time to start heading to bed, but no one had moved to do so yet, so maybe Americans stayed up later? He wouldn't know, George never let him sleep in the house.

Edelweiss
She accepted the bowl with a smile and placed it in the wash basin then turned to Johnny. "You like tired Johnny. You can go to bed anytime you like. In fact, it may be a good idea to go to sleep now, Outlaw will probably keep ya'll pretty busy tomorrow." She said softly enough only Johnny could hear her.

Johnny
Johnny nodded. "Thank you," he whispered back. "Can I, uh, sleep outside? I have since being in America. It is... comfortable now."

Edelweiss
"Well you could if you really don't want to sleep inside, but it's definitely safer inside." She replied softly.

Johnny
"I-I don't like sleeping with people. They can hurt me when I sleep and I can't run with walls. And outside there is hiding bushes and air a-and the animals wake you when men drink and have belt and-" Johnny was shaking and going off on a tangent now, not exactly whispering anymore.

Edelweiss
She listened quietly to his outpour then responded in a gentle, soft voice. "It's alright Johnny, your safe here, but if it makes you feel safer go find Outlaw and she'll find you a shed or a sheltered place to sleep alone. I saw her just a minute ago outside."

Johnny
Johnny nodded and shakily went to go find Outlaw, embarrassed, spiraling, and emotionally drained from the day. A part of him was beating him up about showing so much weakness, and how they must think he's so stupid and cowardly. He wished he had never come here at all.

Kitty
As the sun began to set, she sent her mare into the corral with a light pat on the rump after sliding off onto her own tired legs. She quietly walked into the bunkhouse, following Outlaw's instructions, and entered the kitchen.

Outlaw
She glanced away from the sunset when she spotted Johnny coming towards her, and removed her smoke from her mouth to say, "Need something, Johnny?" She watched him with studying eyes while she did so, puzzling him out in her mind.

Edelweiss
She looked up as the girl who'd come to warn them earlier entered the kitchen, and flashed her a smile. "Help yourself to the cookies and coffee on the table. I've also got tea if you prefer. The coffee is 'strong enough to float a horseshoe' as Outlaw would say." She said with a light laugh.

Sandy
He glanced up from his cup of coffee as another girl entered, then glanced out the window. The sun was setting.. he'd go find Outlaw once he figured enough time had passed for Johnny to have finished talking to her.

Johnny
"Is okay if I sleep outside?" he asked in a shaky voice. He was acutely aware of Outlaw's eyes on him, studying him.

Cherry
Cherry decided to have a cookie. "Do you have any idea what sleeping arrangements are going to be?" she asked Edelweiss, picking a cookie. "If we haven't already gone over this and I wasn't paying attention."
