Stay Tuned [Sign-Ups]

A small band tried to make a name for themselves in the musical business. They were hit with harsh reality when they were turned down time and time and time again. Radio stations, recording studios, and everyone else they contacted turned them aside. Disheartened, the band broke up, many of the members leaving their dream of publicity and stardom for more "normal" jobs. Turns out, some of them weren't as dedicated to music as they once had thought, and at least one discovered they didn't even enjoy playing. 

Only one member of the original band is left, their passion for music driving them on. This member has decided to hold auditions in an attempt to find people of musical talent to form a new band, standards so high some of the originals wouldn't have passed. 

And with the upcoming town music festival, now seems like the perfect time to strike up a new gang.

Join the RP and see if your character has what it takes to become part of the band. And the adventure doesn't end there. Together, the newly formed band will choose a name for themselves and set out to make a name for themselves in the industry. From playing on the street to (hopefully) performing a concert for a mass crowd; friendly supporters and avid fans to unappreciative listeners and furious rivals; and more... If you would like to play the Original Member, fill out the Application part of the sign ups. This may be deleted or left blank if you are not applying. If applying, it is required to fill out the backstory section. The more detail the better. Make sure to mention the old band! In the "application" section you must put why you think your character is suited for this role.

If you sign up multiple characters, only one is guaranteed to have a spot in the band. If you have a preference which one gets a spot, write "no" in the "can this character be rejected a spot" area. If you only have one character, this can be deleted from the form.

Name: Chance J. Robinson
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: Chance stands at 5'11 with an average build - not overly strong, lanky, etc. His wavy black hair is never styled, always allowed to do its own thing atop his head. Chance's eyes are dark brown. His typical clothing style is jeans and a hoodie, normally his favorite (a soft hoodie with a green shade). My real life friend did a digital drawing of Chance, which can be viewed here for a visual reference as to his appearance. 
Personality: Chance is an optimist, almost always seen with a ready smile. He is generally outgoing, though he is a little wary of playing in front of others. Chance is very oblivious to other's emotions unless they are displayed in an extreme way, for example crying (he wishes he was better at reading emotions). He is afraid of storms and total darkness.
Musical Talent: Guitar; Singing; Song Writing

Backstory: Chance started playing guitar around age 11, so at this point in his life he has six years of experience under his belt. He's been singing and "writing" songs (mostly nonsense for much of his life) since he was able to speak. Around age thirteen he really got into music and writing lyrics to sing with his guitar pieces. A little over a year ago his friend died, which pushed him further into music as a way to mourn and also move on. He recently wrote a song dedicated to her. Chance is terrible at naming songs.

Name: Chelsea Bobbin
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Chelsea's natural hair color is a neutral brown, but she dyes it like this. She is about 5'7" and has an athletic build. 
Personality: Chelsea is a decent girl, but just a tad cocky. She's generally nice. Her passion is sports, particularly soccer and cheerleading. 
Musical Talent: Sings, mostly good at high notes

Name: Mason Wilkins
Age: 16-18ish :^)
Gender: male
Appearance:
- Mason is 5'7, lanky, and attractive... in a strangely intriguing sort of way. He has almost-shoulder-length strawberry blonde hair and dark, ever-sardonic gray-green eyes. His pale skin is riddled with scars that he has acquired throughout his prolonged life. He can be seen wearing a faded tie-dye t-shirt. He has a Led Zeppelin tattoo on his right shoulder blade.
Personality:
- Either he's your best friend or he tells you to your face that you're a loser while smiling. There's no in-between. That being said, Mason is a pretty friendly and approachable guy, but the moment that you ask about his past is the moment that your perception of the world will be skewed forever. He's kind of a jerk, but he means well... probably.
Musical Talent: (edited because I had some more ideas lol) He can play the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, harmonica, bass guitar, and piano; they are listed in the order of how good he is at them. He's also good at singing and pretty good at songwriting.

Backstory: how am I even supposed to do this the condensed version
- He always used to be a loner before forming the original band, moving from school to school, just keeping to himself. However, while attending one old, less-than-great school in one old, less-than-great small town in Virginia, he met two good friends, one of which already played an instrument - drums. His friend's - Joey's - experience in music is what finally inspired Mason to seriously consider it, and the two eventually got their other friend - Bruce - to try it out as well. And so, the band was formed, with Bruce as the bassist, Joey as the drummer, Mason as the guitarist and lead singer, and Mase and Joey teaming up to write their songs and music. Things went great for a couple of years: The band got together and worked on their music nearly every day in Bruce's mother's attic. However, when Joey sadly committed suicide, everything fell apart. Mason moved away shortly after that, and, having no one left to make music with, Bruce gave up his dream as well. Also this all took place in the 1970s. Their original band was called Insurrection (because they were edgy).

Name: Auberon Simmons
Age: Uh... lets go with 18
Gender: Male
Appearance:brownish-red hair, blueish-gray eyes, muscular, but not too muscular (sorta medium fit- but very strong at the same time), tan, but light medium tan skin. He has a "tattoo" on his neck that looks sorta like a stick figure of a Pheonix, but it's very unnoticeable, and isn't actually a tattoo at all.
Personality:Auberon is a sensitive, kindhearted (adult now) kid that enjoys baking, medical feild stuff, and checkers. He has a slight anger issue, of which can get out of hand easily if not treated, but appart from that he cant hurt a fly unless that fly was goung to hurt someone he loved first
Musical Talent: Drums pretty well, Plays guitar also pretty well, Sings well, but not drop dead great, he can write songs, but tbh he hates doing so.

Personality: loner, doesn’t trust many, she’s usually fairly easy going but if you get her angry be ready to run or fight. 
Musical Talent: Can play both electric sand other guitar, drums, banjo, and flute. Also not bad of a singer

Appearance: Lynn's short, standing at 5'2. She has medium brown hair, but dyes it like this . Greenish blue eyes, nails painted black (although often chipped) wears multiple silver rings, a nose ring, an industrial piercing on her left ear and multiple earlobe earrings. Usually, she dresses in dark clothes and likes wearing chokers. 
Personality: She has a bit of a punk-rock attitude that may put people off sometimes, but once you actually get to know her she's actually pretty easy going and a great friend. It's hard to get her to open up though. Sarcasm is her main form of communication
Musical Talent: She's been playing drums since she was 5, so that's her main instrument, but she's also a songwriter and plays guitar. She wishes she could sing but she's... not great

Appearance: shaggy light brown hair (it was dyed blonde a little bit ago), green eyes, about 5'9" with no form of a muscular build at all- actually pretty scrawny, but cute at the same time... ish... 
Personality: tbh i dont completely know? I feel like the rp will determine that if thats okay with you lol
Musical Talent: he wants to learn how to sing opera, but he sucks at it. Apart from that he can play a little guitar

Age: 16
Gender: female
Appearance: Ry stands at about 5'0, although some argue she's 4'9 (nobody knows). Her natural hair colour is blonde, however she died her roots black, leading down into a pretty mix of blue and green, which goes down past her shoulder blades. She almost always wears her hair in two boxer braids. Her eyes are a stunning turquoise colour, looking almost unreal, tho they are completely natural. She has a surprisingly muscular build for not being one to really work out
Personality: appart from being a very distant person, Ry is tender and sensitive on the inside. She's very quiet and concealed, barely ever speaking a word, speaking instead through her music. She's considered a youtube artist, though she really doesn't care about her popularity, or really anything else. She doesn't even notice half of the time that she's put something on youtube for everyone to see. She has an irrational fear of animals, and a deep fear of humans (also being the reason for her quietness), but l o v e s plants.
Musical Talent: she plays bass, guitar, electric guitar, sings (very uniquely), great with tech
