Haunting
“Of course” he said immediately, and moved over to Sakura’s stall. He opened the door, and beckoned for her to come out. He was curious to see who or if anyone would bid on the mare.

Raevyn
Raevyn tensed as the beta passed her stall on the way to Sakura's. Even though she knew it wasn't her turn, the black mare was keyed up and anxious to get out of here.

Kin
He clambered out of the water and laid down on the soft grass at the stream's edge. "Do you want a foal, Princess?" Kin asked casually, his teeth clipping off some sweet grass. While he asked the mare's opinion, she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Kin planned on having a foal. A colt, hopefully, but a filly would do as well. Either way, it would be a beautiful foal.

Umi
Umi watched at Haunting opened Sakura's stall. The mare was shaking slightly, and Umi felt sorry for her. This should not be happening. It shouldn't even be a possibility. No horse - mare or stallion - should be locked against their will and auctioned like property.

Celaena
""Course not." She replied conversationally, as if they were simply talking about the weather rather than about how Celaena wasn't readdy to become a mother, but here she was. "But will anything I say matter?"

THUNDER

He wondered who was up next. He hoped it was one of the mares he was planning to bid on, but he could always wait. He wanted to have at least one foal this year. He glanced around, bored with no action.

CHEESE CAKE

Because of the fight, the mares were stuck in their stalls longer than they needed to be. Hopefully they could get out before night fall. She hoped it would be worth it if she got the right stallion. Munching on some stale hay, she waited for her turn.

Outlaw
She ignored the moldy hay that lay untouched in her stall. Not eating was better then eating it. She took another drink of water, mind still working overtime to what the better option was. To fight going out, or not, that was the question. And to look constantly for any chance of escape.

Serval
He dipped his head, partially in consolidation and partially to hide his expression.
"Then I'll claim you," the dun stallion replied, shooting her a forced smile in return simply to be polite, though the gesture made him uncomfortable. She smiled at me. It's only polite that I smile back. Though I'd much rather leave than anything else.

Kin
"No," Kin replied. "But I had hoped you wanted one." Kin swatted at a fly with his tail. "And why do you not want a foal?"

Super Nova
Nova studied Saju from her stall, her mane rustled slightly by the fresh air coming into the barn on a very light breeze. He was a handsome stallion, and Nova couldn't wait for the bidding to be done and for her to be out of this cramped enclosure. It was worth the temporary discomfort, however, to become alpha mare. Nova's stomach leaped with excitement. Alpha mare!

Celaena
Celaena laughed not unkindly, continuing as if she were explaining to a child. "Because I'm not even three yet - I myself haven't finished growing."

Raevyn
Raevyn was starting to panic now. It was getting harder to stay still and think coherently, but that's what this process did to one eventually. Make it stop I can't anymore just stop-

Kin
He shook his head. "Two is a fine time to have a foal. I had my first foal when I was two."

Celaena
"It's different carrying a foal." You would think it was easy, wouldn't you? Regardless, Celaena didn't want a foal anyways. She didntfeel like she would be of a decent mother quality.

Kin
"My mother had me when she was two." Having a foal at age two was a bit of a tradition in Kin's line. He had, and his mother before him, and her mother... Most of the line was mares, but there were a few stallions thrown in the mix. Kin knew that several horses back one mare hadn't been bid on during the auction and had no foal at age two. Kin didn't understand Celaena's reluctance.

Celaena
Celaena made a little uninterested noise, but didn't respond. Good for your mother. Her mind sighed, part annoyed and part amused.

THUNDER

He started to wander around the barn, glad to have more time to look around. He walked back and forth the aisle, looking at the mares. He hoped the auction would start again soon.

CHEESE CAKE

Now the stallions seemed to be taking a break. They were talking to each other about who knows what. She wished she would go up soon, but she could be patient and wait.
