Landyn Cawdwell

Landyn rolled his eyes at the thought of having to care for animals. He was never trusted with the responsibility and never really cared. He could kill a turtle in a day and it would all be an accident. He raised his gaze to meet Storm's, "Do I really have a choice in the matter?" This was only a slight hint of sarcasm but just enough to be noticed. He knew the answer to the question without asking. He still wasn't happy with the idea.

Storm
She gave a grin at his sarcasm. “Yep. No choice” she said as she started off for Katie and Hazel’s cabin. She knocked on their door and waited. 

Ivy 
Ivy closed her eyes and tried to steady her breathing. So close, she said to herself inside her head, you can do this. She bit her lip and followed the small group quietly.

Landyn Cawdwell

Landyn bit his lip, holding back a snark remark. That was the answer he knew too well. He fell to the back of the group, holding back his anger that was caused by the remark Storm had given him. Everyone seemed to tell him that he had no choice in the matter, and it was clearly something he was waiting to get out of. But alas, he had a whole other year before his was free to make his own choices. He was a few paced behind the group when they stopped in front of the next cabin. It came to his attention that the majority of the "children" at this place were female. He chuckled, wondering why the place was absent of many males. 

Katie opened the door with a sigh, waiting until Sunny was outside so she could step through the door and holding it open for Hazel behind her. She dropped a well loved shirt, that was pretty much just tatters, outside the door against the wall so Sunny would be able to find his way back to his new home.

Marceline
 For the first time, Marc got a good look at Landyn. He wasn't like the rest. He appeared as fed up as she felt in regards to everyone and everything relating to the ranch. Dropping back, she allowed herself to get closer to him, but not too close in case she provoked him in some way. She almost asked him "What are you laughing about?", but instead chose to stay silent as they neared the next cabin.

River followed them. She wanted to go back to the cabin and not deal with people

Alex

"Mama, does Lexi have to go away?" Alex's sister Katerina sighed, her hand entwined with her 'very bestest friend ever' and adopted sister hand, Acelina. "Oui Maman, can't he just stay here with us?" Acelina asked, leaning forwards in her carseat.  "No mon chéri, Alexi has to go away to get better." Estienne, Alex's adopted mother and close friend replied, flashing Alex a reassuring smile as he fidgeted with the seatbelt, looking out the window in front of him. "But we can look after him until he gets better!" Katerina cried, Ace nodding her head frantically. "Oui, we can make him better!" Alex smiled gently over his shoulder at the two girls sitting in the middle seats of the car, with baby Roza's carseat next to them. "It's okay, I won't be gone for very long." He eyed his brother, Petya, sitting alone in the back of the car, arm folded and glaring out the window. As they pulled to a halt at the end of the driveway, Petya let out a little shaky hiccup, grinding his teeth together in an effort not to cry. "I'll come in with you, d'accord?" Estienne said, unlocking the doors.

Storm
She spotted the car coming up the drive. “You guys wait here a sec, I’m gonna go greet this teen and then we’ll go on to the stables and kennels.” She said before heading to the car. She held out her hand to the woman who stepped out. “I’m Storm. And your Estienne and Alex I presume?” She asked giving them and the kids in the backseat a friendly smile.

Olivia
She followed along as they went to the other cabins, no longer trailing in the back, as the new arrivals did so. She glanced at Billy when Storm walked to the new arrival's car. He seemed so confident, and she wondered how. Her heart racing and her hands feeling clammy, and opened her mouth to speak. Nothing came out, so she quickly looked at her feet and ran a hand through her hair. She hoped he hadn't see that, or she would be so embarrassed. After a moment of getting her breathing under control, she swallowed and tried again. "How's Blanca?" she managed, sounding more calm than she felt. Her heart raced, and she found it hard to look at him directly.

Alex

"Yeah." Estienne smiled, shaking her hand. "Just going to say goodbye." Alex muttered, opening the car door and stepping back to let his siblings out. "Be good Kitty. You too Ace. I'll miss you." He said quietly as he hugged the two girls, turning to unbuckle Roza. "Privetik, Rosie." He laughed, as the baby giggled in his arms. "Don't be a trouble maker." He grinned as he rocked her gently, and she smiled gummily in response, placing a little hand on his face. As he handed her off to Katerina, Petya got out of the car and wouldn't look at him. "Pet." Alex cooed softly, reaching out for his brother. "Come on." Alex wrapped his arms around him tightly, pulling away and grabbing his shoulders. "Take care of mama, okay? You're the man of the house now, and you have to look after the girls." Petya looked up with a shaky smile, nodding. "Good man." "Goodbye, Alexi." The boy whispered, and Alex petted him on the head reassuringly. "Mon petit." Estienne breathed, grabbing Alex by the back of his neck, pulling him to herand 0panting a kiss on his forehead. "Please, minimal getting into trouble." Alex nodded, looking down sheepishly. "Yes Essie." They both turned to Storm, Alex being passed the cat carried by Katerina and Acelina, carrying it together. "Where can I put my cat?" He asked, demeanor completely changed from kind and loving to colder, less forgiving, although still polite.

Ivy 
Ivy heaved a quiet sigh. Another one. There HAD to be another one. Seriously, these people had to stop coming or she'd freak out. Literally. Her mind was so freaked out by now that the prospect of more people to embarrass herself in front of was just another thing to add to the long list of anxiety causing things among being dumped in a new place with strangers, being forced to interact with others, and having absolutely no idea what was going to happen next, and so on. She stared at the ground in front of her for a moment and started fidgeting with her silver bracelet.

Storm
“I’ll take you to the bunkhouse. You get one all to yourself. If it’s fine I’ll just have you put your stuff in your bedroom and settle the cat and then we’ll go meet the horse and dog you’ll b paired with. What’s the cats name by the way? She’s a beauty!” Storm smiled at the cat. 

Billy
“She’s good. She’s quite happy with the new digs, as am I. What do you think of the place, and this Storm lady?” He replied with an easy grin that his perfectly his anxiety. 

"Marjorie." Alex muttered, throwing a quick little smile over his shoulder to his family, then nodded, showing that he would be fine on his own. He probably wouldn't - but Marjorie would be there, and he could always just sneak out and hang somewhere with the animals. 

“Alrighty then, follow me.” She said and headed to the bunkhouse positioned next to Billy and Landyn’s, Sunrise Hill Cabin.  She opened the door for him.” Your bedroom is all ready on the left, but you have the whole thing to yourself for now. I’ll let you put your stuff down, meet me by the group over there once you’ve done that alrighty?” She said with an easy smile before heading back to the group.
