Showing Bug Fix

Still experiencing a showing bug from results yesterday. Will try again today. Still hoping for better results :(

i love the little additions to dressage!
question though, if age matters, does that mean there is an ideal age at which to show and that older and younger horses are less advantaged? or just that the older a horse is the better?

Woah. I usually have between 3-5 pages of results... I have 5 placings total today. $9k spent on fees; I won back $445. My horses either completely flopped, or the show entries just vanished. In some cases, both. After reviewing all my horses placings, I don't understand what's going on here...

I am with Culebra I also don't really get whats happening? My horses while really not great would at least win back what I spent most days but the last few I have lost probably 8-10k? on fees? Yesterday I spent $2.5k on fees and I won back $481* does this mean it's now impossible for those of us starting lines or 'bad' horses to place now?

*And all those winnings were from one horses who was against 1-2 other horses in the show so it was impossible for her not to place anyway.

Is it even worth putting 'bad' or foundie horses into shows anymore? They seem to just be sinking money with no reward now as often my 100-500 stat horses end up in shows with 700+ stat horses?

I'm afraid I don't have in-depth knowledge of the issues the bug was causing, so those are questions that Abbey will have to answer for you.

can there be a consideration of a care all button on the horse tab( i.e Feed all, Water all, Brush all, and Clean all stalls)

I usually make give or take 10k after a day of entering shows. Entered shows yesterday, today I only made 138. I’m just drastically losing money at this point for having a small budget and lots of horses to begin with :/

I agree, I don't know what was the bug, but I have similar experience to alison, Culebra and Xanthos - I'm showing only with horses which I know will have a fair chance of winning in their grade (based on their stats, mainly). Today I've got only 3 placings, and the winners are not my best horses.

I wonder, maybe I calculated the tack bonus wrong? Does the horse with no tack and higher stats win over a horse with lower stats and 5*equipment? (I'm talking about a case when we are comparing two horses with same specialty, same grooming status and the bonus added by tack is higher than the stat difference).

Maybe that was just a bug-fix day issue. I'll show my horses today and I'll let you know if that problem will reoccur.

Okay. There was one final bug (I am so sorry guys) but it has now been fixed and tested, and it should be working now.

Going forward, there should be no further issues.

I must say that I'm not a huge fan of genes search change.
I know that it gives more realism to the game but...it makes searching for horses to buy more difficult than it used to be since many horses that are listed for sale aren't genotype tested (and there's no way that I can test someone else's horse - I would be really pleased if this option happen to be added soon c: ).
While it's not a big issue with lined horses, foundations are a nightmare, especially if they're white or grayed out.

It makes no sense that horses who aren't gene tested to show up when searching for genetics. It was an exploit that hadn't been raised as far as I was aware, and I saw it mentioned recently so I've put in a fix.

So excited that there is now a PURPOSE to gene testing! Thank you, Abbey! :) Glad it was fixed.

Still concerned of shows though. I am considering not showing any horses anymore in light of the show bugs and changes as I have had nothing but problems for a few weeks on my other account. It sucks cause I really liked seeing my horses do well, but when my level 5 horse loses consistently to a horse with much higher non-spec stats and less training after the supposed bugs were fixed, I just don't see a point in throwing my money away. :(

Looks like my horses won me a lot of money, so why do I still only have $141 on hand?! Can someone please explain this to me? :(

im boarding all my horses at my home stable, but for some reason one of my mares has a clock next to her name and i cant enter her in shows because it says shes not boarded anywhere. what do i do?

Have these bugs actually been fixed yet? I'm still not seeing any improvement at all, I'm actually losing money when I contest. Hello?
