Make blocking have a greater effect

So this may not be the most positive of suggestions, but I think blocking a member should have greater effect in some ways.

Right now, blocking a member only makes it so they can’t message you or send you things. Which is great if those are the only way someone bothers you. When I block someone, I have very good reason to do so, and direct messages are not always the reasoning.

So I propose that a blocked member can’t access your page, or comment on forum posts started by you. I feel like if a player is blocked by someone, not allowing them to have ways to directly interact with the player who initiated it, is probably best for all involved. 

On the flip side, I also think if you block someone maybe you should have the same rules and not be able to see their page or comment on their posts. Also maybe placing a “can’t block again for a week” or some time frame rule in place, so you can’t unblock someone just to comment on stuff, and immediately reblock them so they can’t respond or something.

I support this 100%. It serves a very little purpose in blocking someone currently. I only block people when I have a good reason too which makes it hard to actually block them because I can still see their forum posts and many other things. I would love for this to be changed because it really needs to be.

I fully support this idea. Blocking someone should actually mean blocking them. Messages aren't the only way for a player to bother someone. I personally think the more things that could be hidden between blocked players, the better. If I have enough reason to want someone blocked, then personally I want to have them as invisible to me (and me invisible to them) as possible.

Expanding the blocking feature has been suggested before and is currently on the development roadmap!
