"So where'd the letters we all get come from then though, if this dude is from ten years back?" She questioned, stepping away from Mei so as not to bother her. It often made people uncomfortable when she stood near them for too long with her height.

Shane
Shane shifted his weight, stepping back and taking out his vape pen. "Roux? Of course, Roux," he smiled sarcastically. "Because Louis' girlfriend can't leave me the hell alone." He took a hit and shook his head, looking back to find Avery gone. "Sh*t... I don't get paid enough for this." He looked around before continuing his spew. "Apollo? You're a demigod?"

She glanced over at Mei after the introduction. "Apollo hey. Interesting." She murmured, taking a drag of her cigarette. Another cousin. good golly.

Mei
She eyed the vape, sidestepping the fumes. Mei didn't intend on inhaling toxic fumes that day. Deal with an impossible crime scene? Sure. Nicotine-laced chemical vapor? No thanks. "As I implied earlier, Roman. But you know my uncle? I only ever met him once when I was little. Is he doing okay?" She couldn't prevent the eager gleam in her eyes as she turned toward Shane, excited. Perhaps she was grasping at straws, desperate for family again, but hey, could you blame her?

Shane
Shane looked wearily at Mei, the look in her eyes making him sad. He sighed and glanced at the ground. "Yeah, yeah he's ok. Causing me a lot of trouble but he's fine. Always will be." He stared off as he thought about what life would be like after he died, wondering if he'd just get to be with Louis for the rest of eternity. He closed his eyes as memories started to flood his mind again. "Maybe we should find the kid. Oh, and Apollo. Greek dude; he's my grandfather."

Mei
"That's good," she replied with a small smile, "though I do wish my uncle was more accessible." At Shane's comment, she glanced to where Avery had been standing. "Sh!t. Why does she keep doing that?"

Outlaw
She kept part of her mind tuned to Shane and Mei's conversation while scanning the area for the wandering kid, slowly feeling out the nearby forest for signs of her. Her eyes now accustom to the dark, and with no more light from the sun, she could see clearly as in the day, and scanned the nearby area while feeling out the forest.

Avery
Avery had been walking through the woods, her clothes getting more and more ratted as she ran into bushes and trees, not able to see where she was going. She felt the plants beside her with her hand, her fingertips drifting across poison ivy once or twice. She continued to venture deeper into the woods, her mind wandering as much as her feet were.

Outlaw
There. She sensed the girl finally, some ways into the bush. She quietly set off in the direction she could feel her in, too focused to even think of Mei and Shane. Slipping through the forest like a deer, she headed after the kid, long strides swiftly closing the gap, eyes ever watching the forest around her.

Mei
After scanning the small clearing with her flashlight, Mei settled on a relatively dry stone near the water and a decent distance away from the body. "I'm just going to hope the two of them find their way back here. We probably shouldn't leave this--" she gestured vaguely at the corpse, "unattended."

Shane
Shane took one last look at the body and sighed. "We could throw it in the river."

Outlaw
She soon spotted the girl’s figure in the forest ahead of her, crashing carelessly through the bush, harming both plants and herself. Idiot. Though the thought was directed more at the kid harming plants then the harming herself. Outlaw couldn’t say much in the self harming department. 

Avery 
Avery stumbled and fell down, staying on the ground as she realized how much pain her leg was in. She sighed and adjusted her sitting position to sit better, examining her knee to find it harshly bruised and scraped. 

Outlaw
She slowly walked up the girl, standing a short distance away and looking down at her. “You ight?” She questioned calmly. It was too much work to get too concerned. 

Avery
Avery silently shook her head, the gesture not coming off as any particular reply, though ordinarily it would have been taken as a 'no'. She kept her eyes on her leg, only glancing up quickly to acknowledge the person near her. "What's your name?"
