Fantasy Horse RP

StarDust couldn’t sleep either. But she knew that every time she got sleep, she felt better the next day. As she closed her eyes as she snuggled next to her son, Asher, She couldn’t stop thinking about Elijah and what his goal was for being in this herd. She accepted him in, but did that mean she found her mate for life for the next ten years? She didn’t know the answer but, what she did know what that he needed to control his powers. Once he was able to do that, then and only then would things begin to change for him and herself.
 
She had a strange dream that night that caused her to wake up in shock and she stood up, flapping her wings to try and recover from it. “ That was strange…” she thought as she walked off her head up towards the sky, thinking what were her next steps in all this.  I know he has ten days to get control of each of his elements… but will that make him stronger and braver of what he can do?

Elijah
     Elijah couldn't stop thinking about that mare he saw in his sleep. "Why did she seem so...familiar? Her voice sounded as if I've heard it before," he said trying to figure out who it was. He tried to remember what the mare had looked like, but couldn't. All he remembered was seeing a mare, with a horn. Now that he thought about it, the horn had looked just like his. "It couldn't be. Could it?" he said to himself looking up at the stars, "Mother?"
     The stallion saw that Star was awake, and had to tell her what had happened. "I think I saw my mother in my sleep. I don't know if it was her, but what if it was? Her horn was just like mine, and I think she was trying to tell me something." he said to her, "What if it really is my mother I saw? W-what if she's trying to warn me about something?" he said starting to feel nervous.

StarDust didn't know what to say to him. “ She’s your mother, Elijah. Not mine. But… I may have a mare in this herd who can help with such  things. I feel like you need two lesson completed instead of the usual one per day. ‘  it’s really getting serious, isn’t it?  She thought as she picked up some grass with fresh morning dew.  Before looking up at Elijah once more.


“   But before we get to get Nova to help you, the snow that Molly made will be the first priority.  Everything else that is going on will have to what til Nova is able to come over to you and help”

Elijah
     He sighed, "I didn't really know I had a mother," he said, "It seems like I learn more and more when I'm with you." He looked up at the sky then said, "I probably just got my hopes up. It's probably nothing." He grazed a bit, "Alright. When do I start?" he said knowing he'll need all the practice he could get. Though what he saw never left his mind, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

(sorry it's short I didn't quite know what to put, and I've had a rough morning)

" Well I am a mother and Queen for a reason, Elijah" she said gently nuzzling him before getting herself together.  " And im sure it is something. You just dont know it yet. " She then thought through his question about starting his training.

" If you are up for it we can start right no. I can call Nova over nd she can help you with both of your assignments today. the one with the snow and about your dream. I have full confidence in her that she is the one for you to get through this. But if you need further assistance, not be shy to  holler for me."

The Queen  whinnied for Nova. ( a pure black Pegasi with celestial purple wings) and told her what was needed to be done.
" I will do my best My Queen" Nova said with a  bow of hr head and walked over to Elijah " Come with me and we can get started. '

Elijah
     The stallion nuzzled her back trusting her words. Elijah followed Nova, and saw the snow. So this is what it looks like he thought as he looked at it. He told her everything except things he wanted to keep between him and Star such as the accident. After explaining everything regarding to his magic, and how it could be dangerous, he mentioned the dream from the night before. "...I've never seen her before, but it had seemed like I knew her." he said. Elijah just couldn't get anything out of his head such as the accident and the dream, but he knew things would make sense if he knew his past or purpose in life.

Nova chuckled. “ Never seen snow I take it?” She walked closer to him “ I didn’t see know til I was 4 years old. But anyways… You seem to be dreaming of someone you may not remember. From your past.” She walked over to him placed her muzzle on his and closed her eyes, in deep focus.  She saw everything that was going through his mind at that monet, his semi attachment to her Queen, part of his past, and of course… the dream about his mother.
 
“ I see….” She said after a long time. “ I can see what I can do for you, Elijah… but I need to know if she is a live or not because she is the only one who can  give you the answers you are seeking. If she is alive, I am willing to search for her and bring her here.”

Elijah
     "Uh yeah. It's my first time." he said stopping as she placed her muzzle on his. After some time, he answered her question, "I don't know if she is, or if she really is my mother to be honest..." he said looking away. "I don't remember anything from my past, but one thing. I don't even remember where I'm from, and who my parents are. I didn't even think I had any since last night..." he said. He was indeed impressed with her powers, and was a bit embarrassed. A fully grown stallion with powers, and he didn't know how to use them. "J-just a warning. My powers can be quite unpredictable," he told the mare before they began the training. 

“ Unpredictable is my middle name, Elijah” she chuckle jokingly as she flapped her purple wings and reared up “ Lets see what you go.” She smirked at him “We will start easy, but it will get harder. So be ready when I  force my own magic against you…”


As they trained Nova could only think of how he would tell this to  Her Queen. I could only imagine if she would go search for them herself instead of me…She thought as she moved to the side a little as Elijah trick “ Try again”

Queen StarDust watched them from a distance, a smile on her face. Clearly proud of her find.  He has so much going for him I don’t want to overwhelm him with all this training, but what else can I do? I cant let his magic overtake him and destroy him or my herd.

Elijah
     The stallion trained with Nova, and did his best. It was like he was a normal foal training like usual, but he was a full grown stallion. Eventually, Elijah had gotten the hang of it. He stopped as he was a bit out of breath. He used to just hang around, and mainly only galloped in each storm, so he wasn't quite used to all of this movement. Though, in the corner of his eye he could see Star watching, and he was back at it. The stallion didn't really mind all of this because he knew it had to be done. To ensure everyone's safety. Not only that, but he had to have a way to help protect the herd if there was ever a threat.

Nova then stopped after a three hour  training session " You best get some water. You deserved it."
She led him through the herd and brought him to the water hole and stood beside him  " MY Queen would be very proud of you for sticking with it today and not giving up, Elijah. " I will talk to MY Queen and let her know about what e have talked about during the session and then she will decide on what to do next. regarding your mother. I have a feeling she is out there somewhere." She looked towards the sky and closed her eyes " Hm..... yes... Elijah.. I feel her somewhere."

Then looked at him " But I cannot tell you where she is, for it is a dangerous journey and only the strongest and mightiest may go."

Elijah
     "It needed to be done. Until then my powers are a danger to myself and everyone else." he said as they headed to the water hole. He drank some of the water, and looked at Nova. "H-how do you know she is out there?" he asked quite unsure. He never really thought his mother was still out there somewhere. "What do you mean a dangerous journey?" he asked before taking another drink. Elijah didn't quite understand magic, powers, and spells, so he was quite curious as to how exactly she knew. Though he knew it had something to do with her powers. 

" I know of many things, Elijah." Nova began " There is  a reason my name is Nova." she chuckled " Plus I wasnt like this when I came to StarDusts herd. I had white wings instead of purple-"

The Star came in "That's enough, Nova... stories are for another day, you may go"  she gave Nova the green signal and she left trotting back to Asher. She was the official nanny for him and she took her job seriously.
But before Nova left, she told the Queen what she heard and saw in Elijah's mind

When Nova finally left, StarDust sighed as she considered what to do. When she made up her mind, she turned towards the stallion and spoke " Elijah... your mother maybe alive...I will have to have Nova investigate further before I can get a clear reading of what this all means for you. Til then.... training continues"

Elijah
     Elijah was confused by what Nova meant, though he did not question it. After hearing what Star and Nova had said about his mother, it took him some time to process it. "After all these years I thought she was you know...dead." He looked up at the sky. His whole life was changing quicker than he could handle, and he didn't quite know how much more change he could take.

“ I have a feeling that your mother is searching for you, Elijah.” The Queen said “ She will find you. But after your training is complete” Then added “Nova is very special to my herd. Her genealogy goes back centuries. The third in her line with powers to not only read minds, but also to see inside someone’s head. Like what they fear, their past,  or even their future. She also have control over when night hits and the storms that come by”
 
She paused for a little while to let the stallion let her information sink in before speaking again “ As for the journey Nova will take…  it will be dangerous. Crossing the Western Winds  is dangerous and half the time unforgivable. But I have full faith in Nova that she will find your mother and bring her back to give you the questions you seek.”
