YaY, I am finally allowed to post on the forums at big ole level 3.

My name is Eddie, I just joined and I am already smitten with mustangs!

Is it best to concentrate all my horses in just one discipline? 
or: Should I discipline my horses according to the BEST TWO stats when I create them?
What is the best (most popular) discipline for mustang?

Should I even bother trying to make money in showing?
or: do I just put ALL my new horses in riding school for 200+ dollars/day?
What is the FASTEST way to make money?

any and all tips would be very very much appreciated. I am not adverse to gifts and I am looking forward to making friends or partners on EV.

I am fairly new too, Joined just under two months ago. I found the easiest way for me to accumulate money was to use riding school. I have a huge range of horses with lots of disciplines but once I have enough EVD I plan on just focusing on my breeding programme. 

I think you should use the highest stats to decide on the discipline, as the others or the NSS are meant to be low to help showing success.

Welcome to EV. I highly reccommend reading the help section and maybe checking out some guides in the Game Guides section on the forums. Here's one I made on Making Money that should give you some tips. there are also guides in that forum relating to showing if you want to learn more about it.

It is up to you how you decide to choose disciplines for your horses, but to see the most popular for your breed go to the Town and the Statistics page. form there you can see a table of all the breeds and the amount of horses in each discipline at the bottom. 

It's easier to have your horses in the same discipline as once their foals are born they are easier to match up together. However getting horses with the 2 traits you want from the rescue centre or equine centre can be difficult. I usually just get my horses from the rescue centre with the right traits and lock them until I collect enough to make a whole herd. 

But it's up to you. On my 2nd acct same breed horses are just in whatever discipline was best for them when I got them. Which means when their foals are born it's harder to find other horses to pair them unless you keep adding foundation horses into the line. 

Also it depends what discipline you raise them in. Some are very popular (i.e. Dutch WBs in show Jumping) so finding other players to breed your horses to is easy. But unpopular disciplines for that breed (I.E. Clydesdale in Endurance)  can leave you struggling on your own!

As for money showing won't gain you much of it so the riding school might be best at first. I would also say don't waste money on any art at first & try not to have too many horses to begin with.

@Ariels Song has a good idea. even I still have a small herd used for the riding school to help pay the way of the showing horses. Plus you get free treats to feed your horses or sell for funds.

I have no idea what I'm doing so I cannot give you any advice beyond everything should be Endurance ;p
