Heritage University- Elemental Roleplay!

He allowed himself to be nudged out of the room, still trying to wrap his head around the situation. He couldn't think of anything he'd put on the questionnaire that would prompt them to add him to this group. It seemed important, and not something you'd want inexperienced and clumsy new students to do. What scared him was the possibility of having to fight. He wouldn't be much use in that case, if he would really be useful at all. What he was supposed to do now was lost on him, so he stuck with the others.

Jackson
Jackson shuffled out of the office, then stopped and turned to the group. "Okay... so, I guess we should go pack up our stuff. Meet you guys in the lobby in an hour?"

Kenna
"OK, sounds good," Kenna responded, standing on tiptoe to see who had spoken. "Get packed, literally go looking for trouble, find it in the form of a creepy girl with a probably blood-thirsty raptor, almost get killed by said raptor, magically win, go back, bask in the glory of our most likely impossible success, live happily ever after," she concluded, counting the steps on her fingers. "Let's get started!" she said brightly, heading off in the direction of her dorm with a peek over her shoulder to see if Iris was following.
Once she got back in, she grabbed a good-sized bag, stuffed some clothes and whatnot inside, grabbed a handful of hair ties, and zipped the bag shut in the fastest time possible in order to avoid thinking about the trip ahead of her. That wasn't really working, but she shut it out of her head as best she could and headed out of her room, plopping down in a chair in the living room to wait for Iris.

Iris
It took a minute for Iris to get back to her dorm, since she didn't quite remember which one - or where it was. Finally, she made it back. "So... how much do you think we'll have to pack?" she asked Kenna.

Jackson
Jackson waited for the group to disband before heading up to his room to pack. Everything had moved so fast since he had arrived this morning that he still didn't quite grasp it all. As he packed, he thought about his former best friend. Would she allow them to find her? How would she react when they asked her to come back with them? Alexandra had always been a wild card. 

Kenna
"I don't know... we might be gone a while depending on how long it takes to find this hawk girl," Kenna said thoughtfully, pulling her hair into a braid so it wouldn't fly everywhere. "Let me know when you're ready and let's hit the road."

Iris
"Okay," Iris replied, heading off to her room. She packed everything she could think of into one of her duffel bags, then carried it out into the living room. "I think this will work," she said, plopping it down on the floor.

Kenna
"Awesome," Kenna replied, shouldering her bag and marching out of the room. "Let's go do some birdwatching."

Maya
Maya unzipped her bag and double-checked its contents: Neat rows of folded clothes, ready for the trip. She grabbed a small backpack, filled it with books and notepads, and headed out the door.
