North Wind (Wolf RP Sign Ups)

Once, a large pack of wolves roamed a forest. They became very successful hunters, and the pack grew quickly. The pack prospered, the largest and most powerful pack in the area... Until the prey began to dwindle. Now the Alpha is growing increasingly worried as the members of the pack are becoming thinner and hungrier, and faces the hard decision of either leaving the place the pack has resided for decades, traveling miles and miles to an area with more prey and possibly angering the enemy pack that lives in that area, or staying, and watching the whole pack starve, knowing they could have prevented it. And the entire pack is growing worried as well, pondering what they will do should anything more go wrong. Tension is growing between pack members, too, over anything and everything. And no one knows what to do.

You are a wolf, a member of either the larger Forest pack, or their enemy, the River pack. The Forest pack is nearly out of prey, and might need to move onto the River pack's territory, thus angering the River pack. Perhaps you strongly believe your pack should stay, or you're convinced it's better for them to leave. Maybe you just hope the Alpha and Beta will make a good choice, whatever that may be. Or you're in the River pack, and hope the Forest pack will mind it's own business. Possibly you want them to come, so you can defeat the starving, weak enemy. Either way, arguments and fights are breaking out in both packs over it, and neither choice will make everyone happy. What will you do?

The ranks are:
Alpha ~ Leader
Beta ~ Second in command
Scouts ~ Search for places to expand the pack's territory, places to hunt, or wolves intruding on the pack's territory. They are Warriors, too, and although all wolves will fight to defend the pack if needed, Scouts are the most skilled and are nearly always called on to fight
Hunters ~ Hunt for the pack. Others can hunt, too, but these are the main providers for the pack
Omegas ~ The lowest ranking wolves

Description: Arlo's coat is a dirty cream color, with a reddish tinge on his massive head. His muzzle is darker, more gray then cream, and his eyes are dark gems, with the intense gaze of lazers. He has an impressive, graceful air surrounding himself, and just by looking you can tell of his commanding authority. He isn't unusually large, but he has powerful muscles and a heavy build, so he stands out among others nontheless.
Personality: He is a proud and firm wolf, definetly meant for leader ship. He behaves in a very dismissive and important way among others, but his pack knows that on the inside he is kind and generous, and wishes to do his best for his pack, which has come to be quite appreciative and respectful of him. He has a knack for irritating and insulting anyone who gets on his bad side, but can get carried away and use this when it isn't neccesary, causing him to hurt those who aren't used to it even when he doesn't mean to.
Roleplaying Example: Arlo trotted steadily after the deer they were pursuing, most of the pack at his heels. It was the first deer they'd seen in a while-almost a month, in fact. The rest of the pack wasn't worried, everyone had told him they'd gone through prey shortages before, and they'd survived. He'd been there, he remembered. But this... This was different somehow, he knew it was, although everyone else didn't believe it.
Other: Older than most Alphas, but just as determined and powerful, so the pack trusts him.

Description: Lertea is a stunning dark grey wolf, with brown-grey on her legs and underside and gentle yet brave auburn-brown eyes. She's small for her age, but has long, impressive legs and paws that seem just a little too big for her body, so really she's only half small for her age.
Personality: isn't a powerful fighter, but makes up for it with extreme determination and loyalty. She won't leave a friend in danger for anything, and seeing as she couldn't possibly win a fight with wolves or prey with simply strength, she's learned to gain the advantedge through strategy. She can't easily be intimidated, but her weakness is her inability to stand being made fun of for her large paws or her size and little strength. She rather enjoys plotting the best strategy for a hunt, but is against violence and battles, and is devestated whenever fights break out among packs. Arlo knows her skill in strategizing, and so is always quick to request she helps in such fights, a thing she hates because of her strong dislike of violence. She's a kind friend, and well loved by those she's befriended, but the rest see her as a talented and attractive but aloof wolf who doesn't want anything to do with them, which in most cases isn't far from the truth.

Description: Errva displays a shimmering dark pelt, neither black nor gray but something in between. Her coat possesses a silvery factor to it, small streaks of it here and there, accompanied by a silver sheen in the sunlight. Her cunning gaze seems to capture the slightest movement,  brown and silver mixed together into a sharp, unimpressed look that can deflate the proudest of wolves. She hasn't yet reached her full height, but is close, so is nearly the size of an average wolf.
Personality: Errva seems sharp and challenging, but in truth her bark is worse than her bite. She acts arrogant and like she couldn't care less, but she's an extrovert, very outgoing, and has a large group of loyal friends, whom she is very fond of and would do anything for. In return, though, she expects  them to be sincere and honest, and feel exactly as fond of her as she is of them, so anyone who wants to just be liked by her because of her power will end up becoming her enemy instead. She'll never accept them on any level, no matter what, and they'll become outcasts to her friends, too, so living in the pack with her is difficult if you're her enemy. She holds her friends at a high standard, which can be a fault, because she'll be greatly hurt if they don't meet it, feeling almost betrayed, and she keeps this feeling secret by acting stuck up and aloof.

Description: Viper's coat color is of a black silver, with lighter strands on his tail,chest,paws and tip of his ears giving him an an almost ghost like appearance in the dark. His build is sting yet slim, he isn't necessarily tall but he isn't short either. His fur is thick and darkens during winter and fall but thin enough during spring and summer to keep him cool it tends to be a little lighter in color during this time. He has three scars running across his face down to his muzzle on his left side from a cougar attack, they show enough to be noticable at a glance. His eyes are two different colors, his left being an emerald green and his right a cold blue. His canines tend to stick out from time to time making him look a little goofy when they do. Due to most of his looks he can look quiet menacing at times but that doesn't mean he is.
Personality: Viper is quiet friendly and can get along with most, he may be quite at first and a bit tense but once he starts he's relaxed and very friendly. Don't take his friendlyness lightly, he can have a temper and will snap out if he doesn't like what someone says. He's loyal to his friends and pack members and will do just about anything to protect them, depending non the situation he might be willing to give his life for the pack. Even with his friendlyness he doesn't always let other wolves know everything about him, he can be reserved around certain wolves he feels can't be trusted

Description: Avril has a golden brown almost solid coat with a white chest reaching all the way to her stomach as it gets smaller where it stops, she has the smallest bit of white on the tip of her tail that's barely noticeable. Her build is slim and she's slightly taller then the average wolf, while she may not be the strongest she makes up for it with speed, agility and stamina. Her fur gets darker and is of medium length during winter and fall while during summer and spring is thing and lighter in color. Bother her eyes are a golden brown almost matching her coat.(sorry if it's not as long as Viper's she's more simple looking)
Personality: Avril can be shy around some more then others, she likes to observe before speaking up. She loves to help out when she can and won't think twice about it, she has a fear of water and won't step in any rivers, ponds or puddles. Shes shy at first around new wolves but once she warms up to someone she's friendly and slightly out going as well as being a lot more talkative. At times she's brave and will stand up for someone younger then her or an elder. Hunting is her passion, while she's out on the hunt she more relaxed and tends to open up to others.

Description: Cedar is a dusky pale brown color with a slight reddish tinge. She can appear golden at times, but doesn't have a sheen - rather, her fur matches that of dried grass. She has a white "snip" marking on her nose, which makes it pink, and the surrounding fur white. This she-wolf's eyes are yellow with a green hue, and they change from light, dark, pale, bright, ect. depending on her mood. She has thick fur, but not to the point where she's overly fluffy. Old scars riddle her pelt, but none of them are quite as bad as the tear in the outer side of her left ear.
Personality: Cedar is a no-nonsense type of wolf, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like a joke or two - she just only likes having fun when it's appropriate. She doesn't have time for those who don't take their life or their role seriously. She loves and respects pack history, and despises anyone who doesn't. On top of all that, Cedar can be quite sarcastic at times, but she means well, and tries to keep an even temper. She's a pleasure to be around if you respect her and her passions, and if you understand her dry humor.
Roleplaying Example: The grass swished as the she-wolf stepped lightly through it. The sun's rays had just started to pierce the air, and dew still clung to the blades of grass surrounding her. She came to a stop, sniffing the air. A small group of spindly oak trees was in front of her, and she could see a bigger copse in the distance. The grass gave way to sand as she neared one of the little trees. Spanish moss hung from its branches. Deer droppings lay scattered near its roots. Deer, she thought. There are deer here. She trekked onward, maintaining a steady jog. She still felt reluctant to leave behind her home, but she knew it must be done. Prey was scarce, and nothing could change that. The least she could do was to try to find her pack a suitable new home.

Description: Abelia has a warm yet dark brown coat that shines a brighter color in the sun. The fur around her eyes and snout shifts into a lighter brown/grayish color to compliment her dark eyes. Despite being a female, she is quite large for her gender, almost reaching the height of the average male. Instead of being blessed with long legs meant for running , she got the muscular gene which she attempts to use to her advantage in hunting. She very much wished that she was blessed with grace, but instead she got stuck with pure power... and clumsiness.
Personality: Abelia is one of those wolves that simply would die from lack of socialization. Not so much as her interacting with others, but even just seeing other wolves daily was enough for her. She enjoyed relaxing with the group and staying silent through it all, but she never failed to speak up her mind when addressed. She can be quite clever and teasing, but tends to get embarrassed directly after. Her one very distinct trait is loyalty to the leaders of the pack, she may be nice but she will not stand for disrespect to those that deserve the up most respect.

Description: A major contrast to his personality, Karo is a smaller male with longer legs but less muscle. His coat is a light rusty color with a white mask and undercoat with the exception of a dark dorsal stripe going down his back. His eyes are a typical dull yellow color but sharp in a way to give those he despises a chill to the bone.
Personality: To counteract his sensitivity to his height, Karo tends to have a very loud personality. He always has something on his mind, and tries to keep his opinions out in the open. He is very sociable, but tends to clash with certain members of the pack. If he has something he believes in, he will stick to it, even if it means sticking up to those above his rank, officially making him a troublemaker.

Description: Aella, for a she-wolf, is sturdy and bulky in build. She could easily be mistaken for a small male wolf from afar with her muscular build, and she could definitely match a small male in strength. Aella is also somewhat taller than other females, but stands a little shorter than a male wolf. Her coat is separated into an undercoat and top coat, her undercoat being a dull gray-ish white marred with various little scars. Her overcoat is a mix of black, brown, and silver hair that runs up her hind end to her head and creates a husky-like mask over her deep, dark melancholy brown eyes. One look into Aella's eyes is all it takes to unsettle even the tougher wolves, being that her eyes always convey so much emotion. You can always tell what she is thinking just by looking into those brown orbs, but do it carefully, for they always have a hint of pain that she doesn't like to talk about. 
Personality: Aella looks tough, and that is also true to her personality. She can also come off as curt sometimes, but she is kind and forgiving to wolves who have her respect, as she doesn't trust others easily. It takes time for her to warm up to others. Aella is always down to business and doesn't like when others are idle except when it is absolutely necessary for a rest. She is ambitious and always makes sure her points are made clear, but always remains respectful to Arlo. Aella is a strong supporter of whatever saves her and her pack. She also likes to be out with her fellow wolves, whether it's scouting or hunting. However, she doesn't like being social much, preferring to stay near Arlo or by herself, thinking. Aella doesn't mind fighting and as said above, doesn't mind jumping into a fight which she can dominate and help. She is smart about this, though. She wouldn't purposely hurt herself, as she knows others are relying on her. 
Roleplaying Example: Aella shook her head fast as if to shake horrible thoughts out of her mind. She let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, then walked quieter. The large she-wolf headed deeper in to the forest, trying to find even the smallest hint of life. This prey shortage was nothing like she had seen before, but no else seemed to be worried. But Aella could sense Arlo was a little on edge about the situation. She walked on a little while more, having no success, before turning back to report to Arlo. Her large paws cut a path of barren forest before her, though they dragged as she walked, not caring to be silent anymore. Aella trudged her way to Arlo and delivered her message, watching his expression fall as she remained emotionless. She had to remain strong. For her alpha, for her pack, and for herself.
Other: Is it okay if I just have one character? I don't have much time to RP two wolves, but I can create another if it is needed.

@Ender, only having one is fine, accepted! If we can get at least one Omega for each pack, I'll start the roleplay!
