I love the throne of glass series. Have you tried her other series? A Court Of Thorns And Roses is the first one.

I forgot about that series! I'll have to look into it more. I do enjoy Maas' work.

I think I might have read one or two horse diaries when i was younger but they didn't stick my interest too well :/  I think I was too caught up in dragons!

Erin Hunter has 4 series, Warriors, Seekers, Survivors, and she just put out a new one, I forget what it's called, lol!

-Warriors is about clans of cats

-Seekers is about bears

-Survivors is about dogs

-and the new one is based in Africa with a lion, elephant, and I forget what all. I can find out if you want though.

they're really a good fiction\adventure series, and there's tons of books in each series.

First of all, welcome back!

Secondly, I recommend the Witcher series which is an *incredible* group of books but is for mature readers as it does deal with some darker sides of life. It is a fantasy series set in a war-torn country. The main character is Geralt of Rivia who it a Witcher, a professional monster slayer for hire. The characters are dynamic, the books are fast paced, a whirlwind of a read. You won't want to put them down! The are pretty cheap on Amazon.    :)

I read a book over the summer about five princess who were taken from their kingdoms as a treaty/peace offering. I can't remember the title, but it was super good.

INHUMAN BY KAT FALLS! My favorite book ever. I love it so much. I usually don't cry when I'm reading books, but this made me sob. No one I know has ever read it and it kills me because it so good.

The Wondla series is pretty good too. It's a dystopian future series that follows a girl named Eva Nine and her adventures outside of her home with her robotic caretaker named "Muthur".

Hello yes, I have a recommendation, Sabriel, by Garth Nix Is my very favorite book and I love it to pieces. It does deal a bit heavily with death and monsters, and the rest of the trilogy gets a bit long but really anything by Garth is great. I particularly liked the Keys to the Kingdom, and if you want more adult-y science fiction Shade's Children was an amazing read. The last book I read from him A Confusion of Princes was a excellent Space adventure.
I am a heavy Tamora Pierce fan, and haven't read anything from her I didn't like, her Tortall world is my favorite to read in though, it is pretty expansive though. But from reading hers I was recommended the Farsala Trilogy by Hilari Bell was a good read. I'm a big fan of the era of kings and queens in my fantasy, wars and knights and all that and Strong Female characters really draw me in.
A Great and Terrible Beauty and the subsequent two books in the trilogy by Libba Bray were pretty amazing at blending historical world with a magical world and had some amazing world-building and characterization, also one of my favorite bittersweet endings of all time.

And if you haven't read The Book Thief, greatly recommend that one, I still have yet to see the movie but I adored the writing of the book, and the messages behind it.

Hope you find some great reads out of all these recommendations, I know I'm looking into a few xD

Thanks!! Sabriel sounds like a good read! Interested in Shade's Children aswell. I was hoping for some Tamora Pierce recs as a few of the books I've read have reviews from her, and based on what I've heard she's a fantastic author. I'll check those out!
I have read book thief, what a book! I ought to reread it one day. To everyone else, if the book thief isn't required reading for you at school, I would recommend it be read anyway!

another series I just thought of is the Unicorn Chronicles, they're awesome!!! it does have a lot bout magic and stuff but they're also a good adventure series, I love them! High Hurdles is also a really good horse series, they are a Christian series, I don't know if you want that but they're anyways really good!

Some of my barn rats might be interested in high hurdles, thank you! I always enjoy finding christian books.
unicorn chronicles reminds me of something I read from the library, I wonder what it was. Very obscure fantasy book. Anyway I'll be checking that series out ;)

Not sure if you have read this yet (it's been out for ages) but I would suggest His Dark Materials (The golden compass series) Other than that The Sight/Fell and Fire Bringer are awesome if you love novels based around animals, plus it's a bit more mature than some other ones.

I would also love to suggest an old favorite (and re-read) of mine! Poison Study and it's sequel Magic Study. The Mortal Instruments Series is a good read as well as an older book called The silver wolf (it's about werewolves and magic in ancient times)

I love books so much, and would suggest many more but I have no idea what you have and haven't read yet haha
