London just grazed occasionally looking up at Bridge making sure he was alright. Though she mostly just grazed being the foodie she was. It wasn't until she hear some havoc that she forgot about grazing and looked around for the colt. Only to see him trying to get through the space in the fencing. The mare trotted over worriedly, but the colt just managed to squeeze through the fencing right when she got to him.

The mare just stood at the fencing clearly worried about the colt. London just trotted along the fence line distressed. She noticed Ava going after him as Bridge ran into the barn. London only seemed to get more upset once she couldn't see him anymore. She just stood at the fence pressing herself against it as she watched Ava try to find the colt. She just pawed at the fence worried.

She seemed to calm once she saw Bridge again. It wasn't long before he was hiding behind her. London just looked at Bridge giving him a stern look as her ears were slightly pinned. London just walked back to where she was grazing previously before. This time she kept more of a eye on the colt.

Leslie was in her dorm finishing up with what she had been doing earlier. Every now and then she looked out of her window, and watched London and Bridge. She just ended up watching the two for a bit before she realized she had gotten distracted, and went back to work.

Ava sighed, as Winter was walking up to her, Ava stopped as she got excited when Winter wanted to know how to train a foal, with her mare and all. Ava just ran over to the tack room before selecting a halter and giving it to Winter to hold, Winter took the halter and was then led over to the pastures.

When Bridge was grazing he saw Ava and Winter, the little foal galloped and jumped over to the girl's playfully, Winter reached out to Bridge with her hand and he sniffed it, then Ava took the halter and placed it on the foal's face (I can't remember if Bridge had already a halter on, and I'm just gonna edit it later).

Ava then ran over to grab a rope that's attachable on halters, so of course Winter took it and attached it to the little colt, Bridge just began wanting if off to sniff it and bite it, but he then spotted the rope and began nibbling it as he was taken out of the pasture.

"Sorry London, but I'm training Winter on how to train foals, and Bridge is our only colt. So we need him, you can watch if you want, but we'll be moving to the round pen and the training pen as well, then we'll bring Bridge back to the pasture. And that's a promise!" Ava told London, she then dropped some carrots mixed with sugar cubes onto the ground, Bridge wanted to eat the treats but Winter was cautious and had told him no.

When Winter had Bridge next to her, the little colt looked up at as she was filled with determination on training him, Ava just giggled when she got to boop Bridge's muzzle, the little colt scrunching his face a little bit. But he then stopped as Winter was looking at him. The little colt didn't mind as it was Winter's first time on training foals, so she was bound to stare at him.

Ava opened the gate to the round pen for some ground work, Winter came in as Bridge trotted behind her, Winter then closed the gate and began training the foal on how to walk, collective walk, trot, collective trot, canter, collective canter, etc etc. Though Bridge did do as Winter said, as Ava could tell that Winter knew that the colt could feel the lightest touch to move, Ava was surprised when Winter had finished training him.

"Wow, you are a natural! But don't forget that foals are quite young, so they are a bit hard to train, much less like Bridge. He has the adventerous personality, since he does find a way out of things." Ava told Winter, Winter nodded as they were walking over to the training pen, it was next to the pasture. So London could watch the foal more.

As Winter went first into the training pen, Bridge cantered into the pen as Ava closed the gate in front of her, Ava then told Winter that the pen she was in was for bond training. So Bridge and Winter should get their bond up more, Winter then playfully chased Bridge as he did the same, Ava then tossed a ball into the pen. Winter got it first as Bridge was trailing behind, wanting to play with the ball.

Winter looked at London, she was watching the two play, but she then went back to grazing, Winter didn't mind as Bridge was pulling on her shirt for the ball. Winter then placed the ball down as Bridge wanted a pet, Winter petted Bridge as she crouching down to him, the little foal then began to play with the ball.

"Alright Bridge, enough training for you and me." Winter said, as she picked up Bridge in her arms, she was strong for a girl to pick up a foal.

Winter then walked over to the pasture's fence within the training pen, Winter placed Bridge down into the pasture as she took off the attachable rope, she then walked out of the training pen. Ava then took her back into the barn, Winter was confused until they saw Jacob handling the mare, Ava's horse didn't mind being brushed out of the crossties.

"Hm, guess we should have let Jacob knew about this.." Ava said as her voice died off the end, she then grabbed Winter's arm as they walked over to Jacob.

Jacob noticed the two as he waved to them, Winter and Ava waved back, then Ava stopped grabbing Winter's arm so tight, Winter then walked to the mare as she began petting her. Ava just talked with Jacob, Winter didn't mind listening to the two talk as she was busy with booping a mare.

London kept more of a eye on Bridge then before. She made sure he stayed near her after what he got himself into earlier. Though London mainly just grazed for a bit before she started to walk around flicking her tail around. That walk quickly turned to a trot as she seemed to be enjoying herself. Bridge seemed to join in on the fun a bit too as he let out a couple kicks. London just tossed her head ignoring the colt for just a moment.

It wasn't long before Ava and Winter came to get Bridge. London just trotted over as Bridge galloped over to the two girls. The mare was calm as they put a halter on the colt simply enjoying the treats that were given to her as she got a few pats as well. She didn't mind them taking Bridge. It was like she done babysitting for just the time being, and she seemed to enjoy it while they trained and played with the colt.

London just stood near the fence as she grazed peacefully. Occasionally she looked up at the two girls training and soon playing with the colt before going back to grazing. London didn't know who the colt was, but she got a familiar and similar scent from him that she recognized. It was faint, but she knew it was there. That was why she was protective and loving towards him.

"There. Finally finished with everything," Leslie said as she had just finished reorganizing her ribbons, other rewards, pictures, and some of her figurines. She felt proud that she finished it, and that it looked a whole lot better then it did before. Leslie then looked out her window again seeing Winter and Ava working with Bridge while London just grazed. That was London all right.

After Leslie finished up, she went back down to the barn. She checked to see if she needed to do anything, but there wasn't anything for her to do. It was starting to get a bit late, so she didn't want to pull London and do some more training. That could be done tomorrow. She just sighed as she decided to just watch London in the pasture. Just as she left the barn, Ava and Winter had just put Bridge back in the pasture. Leslie just leaned against the fence, "This is something new for me to see. I guess London was just never interested in other horses because of our old barn. I guess that makes sense since she seemed to not mind being around a lot of horses when she was at the auction," she said.

Winter came back to check on Bridge, when she noticed Leslie at the pasture's fence, Ava was just behind Winter..

"Oh really?" Winter asked, "You should have a big black stallion, not the arabian, more of thoroughbred type. But the stallion reminded me of that book called Black Beauty, even though he was a quarter horse, it still made sense to me somehow. Even his personality was that of Beauty's. But the auction was at a different town, so I don't think you were there." Winter added on, Ava was puzzled between the two.

"Oh that's right, Ava you've never really been to one before?" Winter asked, Ava just nodded her head.

"Huh, well there's a lot of horses at an auction, people bid on them, the ones they like. The more money you have, the more your gonna get a horse of your very own." Winter told Ava, "And that's how I met my three mares, Snow, Icicle, and Snowstorm." Winter added, Ava was astounded at that.

"Your doing a theme aren't you?" Ava asked Winter, she just looked at her, "What did you think my name was Summer? Of course I'm doing themes! And plus, it was winter where I lived. So.. yeah." Winter answered, it sounded like the two were bickering.

"Anyways, I was teaching Winter on how to train a foal, we'll wait until tomorrow for having Winter brush down Bridge and yeah." Ava told Leslie, Winter was still expecting her horse and her foal, but her excitement still showed.

"Anyways, it's getting dark, we'll probably eat in the dining hall tonight. I can show you where it is, if you want to." Ava told Leslie, Winter was just surprised to see that Mrs. Wolf had another secret revealed by Ava.

"Dining hall? Oh kinda like a camp or campus dining hall? I've been to one of those! Except this property houses horses, foals, dorms, and Mrs. Wolf's ranch! I forgot she still had a ranch.." Winter admitted the last part, Ava just giggled to herself, she did admit that the property did act like a campus for college.

"Yeah, your right, everyone knows that here is acting like a college's campus, but add in the horses and Mrs. Wolf's ranch and you'll get a massive property owned by her. And I'm glad she's funding this place now, so that means we get more newer riders and tourists! We can even teach kid's how to ride horses!" Ava shouted a bit, Winter looked down and crossed her arms.

"What? Something wrong?" Ava asked Winter, Winter looked at Ava in her eyes, "Mrs. Wolf isn't planning to open the barn yet, we're still expecting Bridge to get at least a year old to help kid's how to learn to ride, and we're still expecting your mare and her foal. So Mrs. Wolf is opening next year, hoping that Bridge is old enough to teach and get used to more people then there is." Winter answered, Ava looked down, she forgot about that..

"Right.. I forgot, but we can train our horses more, oh and we can also enter more then one horse as well, so if you have two horses you can BOTH use them!" Ava said cheerfully, Winter smiled at her.

"Yep, and Mrs. Wolf is planning on taking Bridge to the foal show, y'know, after the big horses do their thing, and she's also seeing if the judges like Bridge. But she has to have a new registration form for Bridge, since the other one doesn't have his name on it.." Ava admitted, Winter agreed to her.

"A-anyways, it's almost midnight, we better get to the dining hall before it closes for tonight." Ava said, she grabbed Leslie's arm and both of them went off, Winter sighed as she ran after them.

When Winter, Ava, and Leslie got to the dining hall, Ava opened the door as the three girls walked in. The dining hall was large, same size as a normal dining hall for college, but it had more friendlier faces and even delicious food cooked right in the kitchen, and that there was multiple choices to choose.

"Oh I'm definately taking the rice bake." Winter said as she walked up to the line, Ava grabbed Leslie's arm as they went into the line as well.

"You should pick your food, there's many choices to make, like Winter said; rice bake is on the menu." Ava said as she grabbed a tray, she also grabbed a fork, but she did give a tray and fork to Leslie.

Then as Ava choose a turkey dinner, macoroni and it's cheese, rice bake, some potatoes and vegetables. There were many other choices as Winter choose her selection, including rice bake, then she grabbed a carton of milk, fitted with a straw in it, and it was in a plastic bottle. Perfect for recycling! Then Ava did as well.

The lunch ladies were extra nice to Ava, Winter and Leslie, they also let Leslie decide on her food of selection, then as Winter left the line, without needing to do anything she just left for a table as Ava exited the line as well and started to wait for Leslie. Ava did look at Winter then stayed patient and waitful.

Leslie just watched London and Bridge, "I don't really remember most of the horses I looked at when I was at the auction..I had a bit of a bad concussion when I had my accident, but that's besides the point. I just forgot quite a bit of stuff..." she said with a bit of a laugh, "I do remember that I was looking for a ottb. Preferably a calm gelding that was a good jumping prospect. Unfortunately the one I was interested in was way out of my price range. He was rather stunning too."

She just got distracted by London and Bridge cantering around together for a second, "Then there's what I ended up getting. A moody Trakehner mare that I didn't even know was valuable until earlier today," she laughed before London came over demanding attention. Leslie gave it to her as she ran her hand up and down the mare's white face, "Don't worry girl. You are better then any old ottb. I wouldn't change a thing." she said as the mare only grabbed hold of her hair, "London!" she said giving the mare a stern look before pulling her hair from the mare's grasp.

Then she looked at Ava and Winter, "Well Bridge is a bit too rambunctious to have people visit...and we don't want to stress any of the newer foals out. If we had a barn just for mares and foals that would be different since we can just block the barn from outsiders." she said with a shrug her hand still on London. Leslie then gave the two a bit of a look, "You do remember I've been here for over a year right..? I know my way around." she laughed.

That was when Ava grabbed her arm and dragged her to the dining hall. Leslie was too busy that day to even realize she hadn't even had a proper meal that day. When they walked in, Leslie did recognize some faces, but most faces were still unknown to her. Though she didn't really mind as she got in line. "Sometimes I forget this isn't a college..." she said with a small laugh though it was mainly to herself.

Leslie had gotten a plate full of food as she walked with Ava over to the table Winter picked. "Sometimes I forget to eat...I guess that shows," she laughed as she looked down at her plate. "London is always demanding food. I'm surprised she eats as much as she does," she said knowing how she refills the mare's haynet three to four times a day. It really just depended on the day.

"Hm, yep, Snowstorm used to be that way until she ran away. Only for two days, she came back with a stallion trailing behind her, I guessed that "she had fun" and you two would know what I meant. Right?" Winter asked, Ava nodded as she remembered Snowstorm used to be rambunctious, but also calm and demanding stuff sometimes.

"But, Leslie, I don't think you knew my horses. Preferbly the ones with a winter theme on them, I did have a foal from Snowstorm, but the foal had Snowstorm's color but the stallion's markings, which also had a dunskin but with chimera. I don't know what's up with chimera mares in white that I own, but I shouldve asked mom to breed the chimera out." Winter said, she did grab a picture of Snowstorm, Snow, and Icicle.

"Snowstorm is the one of the right, and Snow is the one of the left, Icicle is the middle horse, all three have different shades of white. Snow is the pure white, from dad's barn that ONLY breeds pure white horses with excellent stats, Snowstorm is the most grey to white from mom's barn with grey to white ONLY barn bred. And Icicle is the middle one, both pure grey to white and pure white mixed in, I own that barn where Icicle lives in." Winter said, putting her finger to the horses in the picture with her finger and telling them.

"Pure white also increases blue eyed foals, like with Snow, Snowstorm is more brown due to less white on her face, and Icicle was born with rare green eyes that show dazzling emerald shades, she's also the rarest horse out of our barn." Winter added onto her sentence.

She then pulled out a picture full with lot's of foals and Snowstorm looking at the camera with her head dipped but pointed to one of the foals, she did not take the situation lightly.

Winter sighed, before speaking, "Snowstorm was the most difficult horse, but she was really easy with breeding her, the foals names are Snowdise: Snowstorm and Paradise, the foal that's next to Snowstorm but not the one laying down, next is Snow-Haven: Snowstorm and Haven, the one looking at a butterfly on the left side, next is Tropical Storm: Tropical and Snowstorm, the foal with many multiple markings, he even has chimera in him. Oh and lastly is my favorite, Icicle's Palace: Icicle's brother and Snowstorm, the one laying down with neon glowing white in the picture." Winter said pointing to the last foal.

"But they're all grown up now, but they give off good foals, each one with either the same colored eyes or hazel: a horse that has two different eyes." Winter added, she then lightly took the pictures when Leslie was done looking at them.

"I have other horses that also have white, but they're all stallions and geldings, they won't stop getting away from the picture, so Snow, Icicle and Snowstorm are the easiest to taking pictures with them. Especially if they're together." Winter said, she sighed as she continued to eat.

"I wish my horses were like that, but I'm not a horse whisperer like Lilithe, except for foals. They always come up to me, no matter what.." Ava said, she sighed as well, Winter then asked for a picture of her and Leslie together.

"It'd be wonderful to see you together, if London did listen to take a picture with you, but you don't have to go through the trouble of finding it. I understand if you don't have one or don't have it on you." Winter added on the end, Ava took out a sucker from her pocket and she began to lick it since she got done eating.

#262190 Posted on 2022-11-18 19:06:17

Leslie just did a small laugh as she nodded, "I won't lie I always wondered if London would ever make a good mom, but at my old barn I always thought she wouldn't be. London had more of a attitude there, but I'm starting to realize it was just because of that nasty place," she said with a bit of a snap. "London is actually a affectionate mare. She was just that way she was to protect me...none of the people there were the kindest.." she stopped herself. Everything was in the past. Sure she might cross paths with them at shows, but other then that she never had to see them again. She felt relieved by that.

"I guess when I'm not able to compete on her as much, I'll consider breeding her then, but for now I'm going to enjoy every competition I spend with her." she said before looking at the pictures Winter had pulled out. "They're gorgeous. Wow..I wonder what is with all the rare genetics going around the barn. I've only heard of the chimera gene once or twice, but I never thought London was a actual chimera until earlier when I was looking through her papers. Why I didn't do that sooner, I have no idea." she said shaking her head slightly.

"I could barely afford to buy London. I wonder what it's like having more then one horse," she wondered aloud before looking at Winter, "Though I'm sure it's hard keeping grey/white horses clean. I can never keep London's white markings look somewhat decent. That mare. Hates her face getting washed, but sometimes it has to get done." Leslie laughed, "It seems you really do like the theme of winter and the color white."

Leslie looked at the photo Winter had pulled out with all the foals. "Aww they're all so adorable!" she said listening as Winter pointed out who was who before looking at Ava, "Everyone at my old barn called me a horse whisperer. Probably because none of them had a bond with their horse like me and London do. Not even close. Though I'm sure you've seen that most of horses in the barn have just come up to me." she shrugged.

"I have pictures of me and London. Even pictures with me riding the horses I trained on before I bought her. Now that London is calmer and more affectionate I'm able to get some more pictures then I did before. I actually reorganized all of my ribbons on the wall earlier, and dusted the couple trophies I have on my cabinet. I even have some framed photos too. Maybe tomorrow I could show you.."

"Yes that would be lovely, oh and I also want to hear how your shows went, I could give you a couple pointers? I know the best ways to win every show that I compete in, Ava knows as well." Winter winked and whispered the last part to Leslie, Ava heard but nodded anyways.

"It's quite nice and relaxing talking to you, I can tell because Ava likes listening to chattering people, though no one minds, but she enjoys the best of it. She even used to tell this girl that always styled her hair that she liked listening to her stories that she used to make up, some even real, but the rest made up." Winter said, Ava lifted her a bit remembering what it felt like having her hair styled.

"Though she did have to move, mostly because her mare got sick and she had to permenantly move away due to a long drive and flight to a nearby hospital in a different town, but that was fifteen years ago. I still miss her.. I see her and talk with her, but it just doesn't feel right not having her styling my hair.. I miss those times when I was younger.." Ava said, Winter had her switch to where Winter was sitting as she cuddled a sad Ava, Winter made sure to hold Ava while talking.

"Would you mind if we took a picture someday with your mare?" Winter asked, Jacob tapped Winter's shoulder as he had her pass a note to Leslie about the show, Winter guessed that it was a pointer to the shows here.

"Oh he probably gave you a heads up here for shows that are getting a little rougher, yes we know you've been here for a year, but when you get used to a stable for a year, you start to see rider's getting competitive and quite jealous." Winter paused, as Ava shuffled herself a bit to get comfortable, then she fell asleep with a sucker in her mouth.

"But we've been showing, for when we got our horses and started training them, we were was five by the way, my family has been in the breeding and showing biz for how long my family had been doing it." Winter said, Ava looked up at her.

"For a good few 170 years, your family has been doing it since racing started, and that your family did it when it was just your family to gain awards from." Ava corrected, she nit picked the whole sentence and readjusted the words.

"Well, it's probably time we head to bed, Ava's tired and I'm getting there." Winter said, she let go of Ava as she stood up when Winter threw away the trays, she even did Leslie's if she finished, she then collected a few things before leaving, Ava just followed behind tiredly.

Jacob then sat in front of Ava, he looked calm and silent compared to the rest of the dining hall, but he probably admired Leslie as he drank a love potion, weird.. A love potion? Really? He probably drank something that he shouldn't have and yeah..

Though he did go, when he felt like he was making Leslie uncomfortable, but he did wave to her good bye before leaving the hall to go to the dorms, he yawned when he got to his room..

Leslie just shrugged, "Most of the shows I've been in went fairly well. Definitely started to make a name for myself and London, but I know I could of done better then what I did.." she stopped herself not saying what she meant by that. There were some things about her old barn that she didn't want the others to know about. Maybe she'd tell in the future, but until then she kept quiet about the truth of her barn.

She just looked down smiling a bit, "It's nice to actually talk to people..." she muttered, but she figured they had heard her. "Couldn't tell you how often I just sat with London and just talked to her. Several times a day...my only way to talk to someone and to vent.." her voice was quieter, but she eventually looked back up at the two after a long moment. "I always just keep my hair in a loose ponytail. Just so that my hair stays out of my face when I'm training or doing chores.." she said as she tightened her ponytail a small bit so it wouldn't fall out.

"I don't mind. London loves getting attention. I could use a few more pictures of her and us together...could never have too many pictures..even when things might go wrong.." Leslie thought about the wolf accident a year or two ago, but she quickly shook the thoughts away. It was the past even though it still affected her and London every now and then. She was however a bit surprised to see that Jacob had given the note to Winter to pass to her. Leslie wasn't sure why he didn't just give it to her, but she didn't really mind.

Leslie just quickly glanced at it decided to read it later, "I'm sure I can handle it. I won't be too surprised if there's some riders from my old barn that will be competing in the show, but I know how they ride and think. Gives me a advantage to at least beat them," she said with a bit of a laugh. "I wish my family was more into horses...I'm the only one, but I guess it has to start somewhere. Who knows what the future could be like," she shrugged.

Leslie then nodded, "Alright..well sleep well. I best check on London and Bridge before I head off to bed." she said as she glanced over at Jacob. She looked down slightly moving the small amount of hair from her face and placed it behind her ear. If someone were to be looking hard enough, they might have been able to see her slightly blushing. Though Jacob had soon left, and Leslie decided to do the same.

She went over to the pasture, and grabbed London bringing her back to her stall as Bridge followed. Leslie put the two in the stall before refilling the haynet and water bucket. Then she gave them a few treats and pats before heading off to her dorm. Leslie stopped for a second outside of her dorm to look at Jacob's dorm before she walked into her own. It wasn't long before she crawled into bed for the night soon falling asleep for the first time in awhile. It was the first time she went to sleep with ease since everything started to happen.

While everyone was out of the barn, the black mare knocked down her stall and walked around a bit before trotting out of the barn, Bridge woke up to hear the mare leave the her stall and barn, though he didn't follow her he just went back to bed in his little corner.

Though the mare did come back to look at him, she wasn't sure to take him with her or let him stay in the barn, she did think about it and she decided to take the foal from the stall and from London, but she then recounted her decision before leaving him be and London alone.

She just went back to her stall and began munching on her hay from the haynet, Bridge then woke back up and started to secretly eat London's haynet, though he did go back to pretending to sleep so that he wouldn't get directed away from it. If London did direct him away, and he did make sure to stay in place if London thought he wasn't sleeping.

But he did stay up and stand where London was and began sleeping standing up, having the feeling of weight go down to his legs, Bridge did look around before deciding that he would stand and sleep next to London..

When two hours rung Bridge kept being asleep, he liked the feel of weight going somewhere else, but he then went back to his spot in the corner of the stall, he also woke up and ate a little bit before heading to bed again.

And again, this time when four hours rung Winter, Ava, and Mrs. Wolf walked into the barn. Mrs. Wolf grabbed the check list of names that were for the black mare, she also grabbed the black mare and Void to be groomed and then trained for the exact same hours. Void was excited as he called out to London happily, it looked like he didn't socialise for abit and forgot that London didn't care for other horses but he didn't care and just neighed to her again.

Bridge got up and neighed to him, the stallion and the foal interacted like father like son, the little foal attached to London and started to talk to Void, the little foal did jump out of London's stall and waited outside for Void to be taken out. Void just interacted with Bridge again and began nuzzling him like he should to be a father figure for Bridge.

"Well looks like Void and Bridge have started a bond! But poor London, she would be alone, but oh well, she doesn't care for other horses." Ava said, she forgot then remembered and she awed in silence when Bridge jumped out of London's stall.

Winter didn't mind, she just took Bridge and put a halter on him, ensuring that he gets exercise right now, though Ava did come along once Mrs. Wolf got done brushing the two horses when she took them out and before that; had put the clip board down and did everything else!

Jacob then walked into the barn and collected his horse to groom him, train him, and then put him back in his stall to rest.. Winter just continued to walk Bridge in a circle before getting him hooked up to the rope and began to actually train him.

London just had her head lowered slightly as she slept. She did stand near Bridge though. Everything was quiet until she heard the colt moving around before she felt the presence of another horse. London then fully awoke as she saw the black mare snorting. London moved to block Bridge from the mare's gaze as London pinned her ears snorting quietly. She got less defensive when the mare left.

She looked at Bridge before she closed her eyes once more locking her muscles so that she could sleep standing without falling. It wasn't long before she felt the colt beside her. The rest of the night was quiet and London didn't have many other interruptions. London then awoke in the early morning when she heard the barn open up. She stuck her head out of her stall seeing Mrs. Wolf, Ava, and Winter.

Leslie had forgotten how good it felt to sleep as well she did. Why she slept that good, she had no idea, but it felt amazing. Though when she woke, she realized it was still early, but she figured she'd get a early morning start. Leslie crawled out of bed, and got herself ready. She put on a sky blue riding top and tan jophers. One of the main outfits she wore.

Once Leslie was ready, she headed down to barn as the sun had just started to rise. She noticed the barn was open and saw Mrs. Wolf, Ava, and Winter. "And here I thought I was the only one getting a early start," she said with a small laugh when she noticed Bridge out of the stall. "That colt can never stay in a pasture or a stall without getting out." she said shaking her head.

London snorted as Bridge jumped out of the stall. She tried to get his attention, but he was too confused on Void. Though she didn't like Bridge interacting with the stallion. Leslie just walked over and tried calming her, "Shh..it's alright girl. He's fine. Void won't hurt him." she said as London seemed to calm some. "There you go girl." London just snorted pinning her ears as Void called to her. "London stop it." she said giving the mare a stern look, "I swear. Mares and their attitude." Leslie said.

"I'd have to agree with you about that Leslie!" Ava said, as she was munching something with a stick on it, though her mare was right behind her as she tried to take the sweet treat with a stick on it from Ava.

Ava sighed and laughed, "Atlantis, stop it girl!" Ava said, as she tried pushing the mare's head away, she just kept trying on getting the treat that Ava was munching on.

"I'll take her, Ava just go sit somewhere so that your mare won't try and get at your lollipop." Winter said, as she took the halter from Ava's grasp, Ava didn't mind and just ran over to a haytstack pile and sat at the top.

"Hm, well at least we're having a productive day today!" Mrs. Wolf cheerfully said, she was happy today for sure, something must be up.

"And what's going on with you about today? Something special?" Winter asked, she sounded a bit snarky at the end, but Mrs. Wolf gave Winter the same face.

"Well yes, we're getting a new horse today!" Mrs. Wolf said aloud, Winter just looked at Leslie and anyone else in the barn with them.

"I- what?" Ava asked confused and had not clue, "A new horse? But we'll have to expand the barn! We don't have enough room!" Lilithe cut into the conversation when she talked about the last part.

"Oh we'll have enough room, Leslie do you need to train your horse today?" Mrs. Wolf said and asked Leslie, she gave her a friendly smile and a even friendlier tone.

"She probably is busy with training today, and besides, we need Jacob to man the movement and placement while everyone else does the extra work of putting it into the correct position." Winter said, Lilithe just popped out a candy cake sucker and gave it to Winter and Leslie.

"Oh! I love candy cake suckers! They're my favorite candy snack!" Winter said, as she took the wrapper and began munching the cake sucker.

"Well it's good that I know how to bake then." Lilithe said, she was a bit perky today by the sound of her voice.

"Hm yep! Now I gotta get to Bridge's training today, so I'll see y'all soon!" Winter said, as she magically held out the halter and began training him when they reached the round pen for groundwork.

"Yeah, and I need to train Soulstess, oh and Mrs. Wolf, I named your horse mare Night Fury. Might as well right?" Lilithe said as her mare poked her head out the stall, her other horse, the one with paint bomb markings was also waiting too.

"But- I didn't decide yet.. Well whatever, it suits her anyways, besides it being a boy name it really is fitting." Mrs. Wolf said as Night Fury poked her head out and walked out, since her stall was broken..

"Oh right, I need my mare, thank you Winter for watching her. But I'll ride her bareback for today!" Ava shouted a bit, she got onto her mare without needing a saddle's help and rode her off into the discipline she wanted to train for today.

"Yeah I just tightly notted her rope to just be there for when you wanted to ride her!" Winter shouted, though Ava did leave the barn already.

Jacob was chilling in his stallions's stall, just burshing him since his stall was clean, though Jacob did say something in spanish, the stallion just calmly snorted and neighed.

"Your a good boy when I just brush you in your stall, you prefer that instead of being crosstied." Jacob told his horse, the stallion slightly nudged him when he went out of the stall.

"I swear London can be a total sweetheart some days, and well others she can just be moody and stubborn." she said shaking her head as she just grabbed the mare's halter as it hung on a hook outside of her stall. London just snorted again and stomped her hoof, "Alright London that's enough. Don't need you being moody today," she said as she opened the stall door. She put the halter on the mare as she seemed to calm some more once she realized they were going to be training.

Leslie just attached the lead rope to the halter and was getting ready to lead the mare out her stall as she turned and looked at Ava, "Oh yeah...and they try to steal your food," she laughed before looking over at Mrs. Wolf, "What do you mean by that?" she asked before looking at Winter as she asked the same thing. Another horse? There seemed to be a lot of new horses coming in lately.

"What's with all the new horses? Who's horse is it? You guys just got done redoing the barn not even a week ago." she said a bit curious about this new horse. Winter's horse and her foal were still on their way, Void and the black mare were new, and then there was Lilithe's new horse. That was a lot of new horses. Though she didn't really mind. "Well I was planning on training like I normally do. I want to be as ready for the show as I can be, and it would help calm this one down a bit." London only shoved her getting impatient. "Alright I best get to it before this one gets into any trouble.." she said before she had lead London over to the crossties.

She brushed London's coat down as she hummed to herself. Leslie quickly brushed her mane and tail before she picked the mare's hooves, "Hmm..best talk to Mrs. Wolf about getting you some new shoes," she said to herself as she noticed London's shoes started to get worn out. After she groomed London, she tacked her up making sure the saddle and all was comfortable before removing the crossties.

"Let's go do some jumping girl." she said as she walked the mare out the barn, but Leslie couldn't help but to stop. She stopped at Jacob's horse's stall as she peeked in a bit, "I didn't know you could speak spanish," she said with a small grin. London though just gave Leslie a look, but she ignored it.

"Oh yeah, it helps with my horse since he used to be a spanish circus horse, so he's used to spanish talking people. And that's a great thing with me since I am taking spanish lessons, well, when I have the time too, Mrs. Wolf lets me use her computer to do the lessons." Jacob said, he waved at Leslie before his horse neighed at Jacob.

"Alright alright, te quiero, te quiero, I love you Picante. And you know that to be true." Jacob said as he patted Picante on the face, the stallion was calm.

"Picante, doesn't that mean spicy?" Mrs. Wolf asked Jacob, he turned around and smiled at her.

"Why yes, Picante does mean Spicy! How did you know?" Jacob asked Mrs. Wolf, she laughed as she told Jacob that she uses the computer when using it to deal with finances.

"Oh yeah, I guess that's how you know." Jacob said, he honestly forgot about that, but Mrs. Wolf giggled then she went over to check the supplies closet.

"Hm, we're still good on everything, I honestly thought that everyone would be using our supplies faster." Mrs. Wolf said, she checked it off the list on her new clip board, she jus keeps lot's of clip boards on her since everyone uses them.

"Oh well, we don't need any from storage, ah I best be getting to the other horses." Mrs. Wolf said, she then stopped to get her pen out then she began to walk again.

"Oh and Leslie, horseshoes are in my office, I use them for sports sometimes, so you'll find them quite easy. And if you need anything else from my office then your glad to look around for it!" Mrs. Wolf told Leslie, as she kept her eyes on her clip board while walking past Leslie and her mare.

Mrs. Wolf patted London on the face as she carefully patted her since she did have a pen between her fingers, she then spoke some spanish words to London..

"Leslie te quiero's you London, and that means I love you, and so does Bridge. Even though he's not full grown yet, but he will be soon- sometime." Mrs. Wolf told London, she used the same spanish words that Jacob told his stallion, Picante softly neighed to London. He know that she didn't care for him, but he did it anyways.

"Well looks like two horses want to get to know London more, and I hope she does the same." Jacob said, he acknowledges London's distrust to other horses, Bridge was just an exception.

Leslie just smiled slightly, "He looks like a nice horse," she said, "I've tried learning spanish a year or so ago, but I just couldn't understand it enough to learn it," she laughed, "Guess I'm just not entirely cut out to learn another language, or maybe just because I don't have the time to," she laughed as she pat London as in a way to tell her to wait for a few more minutes before they went to train.

She nearly jumped when Mrs. Wolf spoke. "I didn't see you there," she laughed as she listened to the talk for a few minutes. Leslie did give Mrs. Wolf a bit of a look, "Oh uh...I'll be sure to grab some later then.." she said confused as to how she knew London needed new shoes, but she didn't ask as always, "Alright.." she said before looking at London laughing to herself.

"Bridge is the first horse that I've seen London be okay with being around let alone protect. Her and Bridge are somehow related, so that's why she seems to protect him, but it may just be the start to her liking other horses more. You never know, and it would help during shows since she tends to act up sometimes with all the horses. Just got to give her time," she said with a bit of a shrug.

"Well I best go train...I want to be ready when it's time for the show, and thanks for the tips," she said before she led London out of the barn and to the jumping arena. Leslie used the fencing as a mounting block before she did a quick warm up. Just two laps around the arena. One at a walk, and the other at a trot before they then started to jump working on their turns and speed.
