pages not loading

I'm having terrible problems today. Pages are not loading at all, or loading slowly a few times and then not loading for half an hour and then loading again very slowly.... Does anybody else experience it as well..?

I'm repetitively getting a message about the server taking too long to respond

My experience is the total same for about 12 hours. But I think they are aware of the problem, because my horses didn't age despite of the progressing (thank God).

I think my horses did age. I'm just browsing through them but it's taking me literally hours to care for them. There's no info about any problems on the game twitter account, so I'm not sure if it's just you and me or a wider problem...

So I may have found a work around, at least for google chrome

I accidentally opened equiverse in a incognito (or private) tab, and it at least let me log in. So I experimented.

If you open up a private tab or window, search equiverse news, click a link, then log in, seems to work okay. Why, I have no idea

@Reverie: I tried it, but for me it doesn't work either. Sometimes I can reach some pages - like forum, (or if I'm lucky enough) my horses, but my activity page, the riding schools and other pages just don't load at all - so I found it best to lock the important stables of mine until this problem resolves.

I also sent a message through contact to the admin team, because I'm not sure what's happening - and it has never been so problematic to load the site before.

I had the same problem, and I'm just now able to get back on EV.

Same problems here. I am fixing to go lock all my horses. If I am able.

I couldn't get on again today until now. Hope this doesn't keep happening.

Have been trying to reply to this thread since yesterday. To slow to work. I haven't been able to successfully do anything on here until now for the past day or two. And it is still slow.

It only lets me on every now and then when I'm home, but I can't get on EV at all at school.

I never got any of that, but it seems to be doing a bit better for me.

I received an answer through email:

"This problem is currently impacting the entire site, and all users, as the server is unfortunately being targeted by bots. We know of the issue and are working on trying to prevent the bots from accessing it, and hope to be back up as soon as possible, however in the meantime the site may be slow to connect or not connect at all. 

We're sorry this is happening and we appreciate your patience while our server admin is working on a fix. We will continue to provide updates on the situation via our social media accounts, and will make sure everyone is notified as soon as possible when we see a change."
