     "Yeah, but I may never race again," the mare said. Her attention went somewhere else hearing a bunch of people yelling. She looked at th stable entrance, but couldn't see much. The only thing she saw was a bunch of flashes. "What's goin' on out there?" She asked Snow.

     Snow shook her head. "Don't say that. I'm sure you'll heal up in no time and you'll be able to go back to racing" she turned to the stable entrance and tried to adjust her head so she could see outside, but all she saw were a series of flashes. "I have no idea. Maybe one of the humans know what's going on?" She wondered aloud. 

     Nia was dragging up Vinn’s tack to be cleaned when she saw the first flash. It caught her by surprise, after all, her back was turned away from the culprit. She screamed and dropped the saddle, likely breaking something. Grooms and stablehands heard the commotion and began yelling and running towards them, instead of away, as Nia was debating doing. The shock and adrenaline rush sent her flying closer to the flashes, and behind her neighs and snorts began to sound. Vinn started pacing around the run she was in, and all ‘heck started to break loose around them.

     Snow heard the loud sounds and reared up, neighing loudly. She looked around in fear and back down at Diva. "It's fine, don't panic, everything's under control" She muttered. When Snow heard another loud noise, she threw that down the drain and started kicking at the stall door. She made as much noise as she could and kicked as hard as she could, but no matter how much she tried, it wasn't enough to break the door. 

     Diva was starting to get uncomfortable, and a bit frightened with all the commotion in the stable. She didn't say anything after Snow saying she'd get back on the track. The mare knew that a lot of racehorses who got a leg injury never raced again. Once the commotion in the stable died down, Diva started to focus on the commotion outside the stable. With all the yelling outside, it sounded like there was a group of people or a crowd. "Wait, doesn't it sound like there's a crowd or group of people out there?" she asked hoping Snow heard her.

     Snow had managed to calm herself down after a bit longer, though it didn't prove to be easy, and how no resorted to pacing around the stall. "Large crowd of people making that much noise? What could possibly be happening outside?" She wondered aloud. And what were those flashes? 

     Diva looked up at Snow, "You don't think they heard about me, I mean us?" she asked still not remembering anything. The mare then looked towards the stable entrance. Word can really spread fast she thought as she looked back up at Snow. Diva couldn't sit up anymore, so she laid back down on her side. She had no strength, no energy, and she was very weak.

     Snow stopped and narrowed her eyes. "I don't know what they want, but they are not getting anywhere near us. I'll kick them all if I have to" She said. Snow noticed Diva lay back down and bent her head toward the mare. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked in a gentle tone. 

     "They haven't gotten into the stable yet," Diva said quieter and a bit out of breath. Diva didn't say anything after that. She couldn't tell whether or not she was getting better or not. She hoped she was. Then she could hopefully get back on the track quicker.

     Snow stared down at Diva in worry. "Maybe you should save your breath. You should probably drink water, maybe that'll help" She said. "And good on them, too, because the moment they decide to step foot in here, I'll be ready with my teeth and legs" She nickered loudly. 

     "I'm not thirsty," Diva replied, "Their probably just news people anyway. They always want to know what happened." All of a sudden Diva remembered what happened that night. She looked up at Snow, "Your the hero," she said coughing a few times. Charlotte came into Diva's stall worried. She knelt down by the mare and stroke her filthy neck.
     "You poor thing, I wish there was something I could do," she said when she looked up at Snow then the crowd outside. "Wish they'd just leave already. Diva needs to rest, but it's hard with all of them people out there," Charlotte said a bit frustrated.

     I'm the hero? What is that supposed to mean, I barely did anything? Snow shook her head but she didn't say anything aloud about that matter. "You got that right. All those humans are a pain in the rear. Hey, maybe you should let me out, I'd get rid of them quick and easy for you" She looked at Charlotte and bobbed her head though she knew the human had no idea what she meant. 

     After a few moments Diva sat back up again. She knew what Snow was thinking. "If it wasn't for you going after me, who knows how long I would of been out there. You encouraged me to fight. I may not be here right now, or I would be worse than I am now if you didn't jump that fence. You are the hero Snow," Diva said thanking Snow as she looked up at her. A few moments later Diva then had the courage to try and get up. One by one Diva positioned her legs getting ready to get up except using her injured leg.
     "Easy girl, don't push it," Charlotte said as Diva positioned herself. Diva ignored her. She had to at least try. And so, she did. Diva was standing, maybe not perfectly, but she was. In the meantime Alaina was trying to take care of the problem outside the stable when Charlotte called her. 

     Snow wished she could stand in Diva's stall to help her get up. She admired Diva for the courage she put, for being able to stand up, even when she was in pain. Unfortunately, right now, all she could do was be there for her using her words. Snow hoofed the ground and snorted. "You shouldn't push yourself. If you feel you can't stand correctly, don't try to prove yourself otherwise."

    The masses of photographers was insane, and multiple grooms had to keep the barn doors closed. Nia and a few others ushered the crowds back in their cars and shut the gates to the estate. Nia wasn’t quite sure how the horses reacted to all that, but it probably wasn’t well. She made her way back to the barns and cleaned up Vinn’s tack, and went to check on the horses. Nia sent a groom to retrieve Vinn from her run and return her to her stall, and went to check up on the 3 younger fillies. Snow and Diva were paired in two stalls next to each other- probably best. And Vinn soon took the stall across from the duo. Once all calmed down, Nia returned to the main stable to finish a few things.
    Vinn’s groom was a bit stern, so Vinn decided it would be fun to play a trick or two on him. She stole his crooked ‘cowboy hat’ right off his head and plopped it in a pile of mud. Perfect shot! Vinn seemingly giggled to herself and sidestepped into the barn as the groom retrieved his hat, putting herself in her own stall. “Man, did you guys see all those people? There were hundreds! Thousands!” Vinn rambled on, until Snow or Diva would answer, oblivious to the accomplishments.
