He was sort of paying attention to the questions, but was mostly trying to figure out why she seemed so familiar. Personality or appearance? It suddenly clicked. She looked almost just like - Desiree Davis! Did Desiree have a sibling? Ash wasn't sure. He hadn't really talked to her much, other than that which was related to work. 

Nyla
She wandered around a little bit, not sure where she wanted to go. She would need shelter for the night. Maybe she could find a box, make a makeshift home? She couldn't be spotted by patrolmen, or she would be taken back home. What about Jonah's family? They're nice. Nodding to herself, Nyla set off for Jonah's house. 

Skye 
"Wouldn't you know that by now?" The person shook her head. "Nobody in our citizenship database matches your description- except for one person, and even they don't match up completely. Skye had paled slightly. "What- what exactly... was different?" she asked, trying to keep her tone noncommittal. "Your eyes," the interrogator answered, glancing down at the reports of the crime. Meanwhile, Skye looked more distressed. I need to calm down, or I'll literally stop functioning and black out, and then we'll have a real problem. As if this isn't a real problem. My sister is here, and she thinks I'm dead.

His attention was brought back to the window at the odd tone to Skye's voice. Ash watched as she grew increasingly more uncomfortable, though she hid it pretty well. "We all have secrets." And some more than others, eh? I think you fall into that category, Skye. 

Skye 
Skye didn't even hear the next question. "-hello?" Skye glanced at the interrogator distractedly. "Repeat the question?" She wasn't paying attention, though, and missed it again. I HAVE to calm down I can't keep panicking like this or it will literally overload my brain! But Desiree's here and she thinks I'm dead and if she finds out she's going to kill me because she hates liars and I need to get back to Sylvia and let her know what's going on but first I have to get out of here but I might not because I could black out at any second CALM DOWN SKYE You can't process this much panic and you know it which only makes it worse-

Outlaw 
After stealing several patrolmens guns quick enough they didn’t see her, dumping paint on some more, and dunking another into a pond she wandered around the alleys, guns safely stashed on her out of sight.

He leaned forward in his seat, eyes narrowing in concentration. Something was up. The interrogator was getting a little frustrated, Skye either ignoring her or completely zoned out. By the look on Skye's face, Ash guessed the latter. He blinked, sat back, and glanced nervously around the room. I seriously need to take a step back. I don't know her and could be imagining it. Why do I think I can read her at all? Sometimes he wondered why they hired such a complete fool to do patrols.

Skye could tell that her system was getting slower and slower at responding, which should have been a cue to take a few deep breaths and calm down before it stopped completely, but in fact only made Skye's internal panic more intense. If she did end up blacking out, which was more than likely, Skye had no idea how long it would take for her brain to reboot and be able to process things again. "I- I can't do this right now," she managed quietly. The entire right side of her body was unresponsive at this point, and Skye knew with certainty that she was seconds away from collapsing. Just what I needed.

Well, now what? Ash glanced around the room. Most patrolmen were now either off duty or helping with the increased security. Which meant he would most likely be the one to take her to the holding cells if they stopped now. He shrugged. After that he could probably get to his errands. His shift ended soon.

Skye 
Right on cue, Skye collapsed. This had only happened a few times before, years previous, when she was getting used to having metal limbs and a strange mental processing system.

He stood up as the interrogator entered the observation room and shrugged. "She, what, blacked out?" Ash asked, receiving a confirmation in reply. So somebody in the city who looks like her makes her nervous - Desiree? Ash glanced through the window and then back to the interrogator. "What now? I've never seen this happen before." He was instructed to go put her in a holding cell, and he nodded. This had gotten a tad more complicated. He hadn't expected her to be completely out. Withholding a sigh, he entered the room and carefully picked her up. "What number?" They told him and he headed down the hall deeper into the building, trying to get the key he had been handed into a good position. He unlocked the cell door and nudged it open with a finger just enough to get his foot in and open it the whole way.

Desiree 
A double shift had been scheduled, thanks to the emergency caused by that one person Desiree had seen earlier. She couldn't wrap her mind around why that girl looked so familiar!

He entered the cell and approached the small cot pushed into a corner. He paused, glancing down at Skye. He stirred himself from his thoughts a little bit later and lowered her onto the thin mattress. He turned to go, the sound of his transmitter making him jump a little. It was really loud in the small room and he chuckled a little at how it had startled him. He headed for the door, key in his palm.

Skye 
Skye inhaled sharply as her processing system finished rebooting- it was a reflex. She still couldn't move very well, and was very disoriented. The conversation she had been having- wait, no, interrogation- was all a fuzzy mess for the moment. She was glad that it had been a fast one- the last time she blacked out, she was unconscious for three days.

He heard her start to stir and stopped in the doorway, turning and leaning on it. "Are you okay?"

 Skye 
What- oh. He just witnessed a system crash. Heck no, I am not okay! "... Fine. What...?" Skye hoped that he could interpret her question, because even though she was slowly regaining mobility, actually doing something at this point was a lot of concentration.
