Red Roan Tobiano
Ready, here it is!
Let's see if I can capture her nature... This is different just to let you know.

The harsh blow of the wind came across Kira like stinging needles. She ducked her head low, her mane being whipped from one direction to the next. She looked back with a saddend eye at the body of her partner, the face of defeat, and deadening wounds dripped his sides. Tears stung her cheek as the memory of the attack flooded to her. First a simple fault, sticking too close to the hour of dark when the beasts escape from the woods. They knew they were dead when the deafening sound of the Bell released the beasts from the wall, closing their wall, trapping them alone and outside. Kira fought herself. She knew she must return but she simply could not leave him until BrightRise. She scrambled against the bitter wind back to her fallen love. She fell to her knees alongside her partner, kissing his drenched face. His muzzle was wet and sticky, his eyes partially closed, his body a ripped hide. She pushed his forelock aside, showing his bloodied forehead. The sun accompanied the ringing of the Bell and the grinding of the wall moving from its closed borders of their lands to closing of the beasts. The sky now a peachy shade of joy to their village, designating her return. Kira shook the crystal tears from her feminine face. Along the horizon of the wall, Kira could see a dark bay mare with a diamond crested face approaching her with her dauntless filly. At the sight of the weeping Kira, Sif immediately beckoned for her filly to be escorted back to the village. Both mares greeted each other with the practiced title of "Hello Bright Kira" and "Hello Bright Sif" that corresponded with the village symbol, the BrightRise. Even still, the cheery greeting was laced with a bitter sadness. One after one, horses exited the wall, for news spread quickly through the small village. They circled the fallen stallion and waited for Kira to perform the Ceremony of Loss. Kira stood in frozen puzzlement. She stood tall as she had seen others do, and recited the loss anthem. She wondered how the words came so fluently, no hesitation. It seemed as hours even days passed through the heartless speech. There was so much she desired to say, but excess dialogue was punishable by exile. She concluded the ceremony with the familiar phrase, "Thank you for your life and service, Totle. May you rest assured." Kira cringed at the mention of Totle's name, but was careful not to show her emotion of loss. She knew that now, Totle would be left for the teeth of the hidden beasts. As they filed out of the circle with precision, she couldn't help but break a small law, and look back one last time at Totle. Tears fell once more onto her cold face. She furrowed her brow in frustration and hatred at the disrespect of the deceased. The speaker came over the village reciting his lines in a calm voice, "Pardon this interruption. We are saddened to inform you that number 247, Totle, has been declared deceased due to the effects of the beasts. Thank you." Kira shook her head and squinted her eyes in hatred. She swirled images in her mind, concentrating. A time for change is coming.

Writing for the Red Roan Tobiano
The story is set where the earth is destroyed, so it's different.

Kaia walked through the deserted wastelands that used to be called earth. Nothing was left for her, at least nothing she could enjoy. She had been left behind. Kaia had been too late. And she had done it to save her little brother, who was already dead. She laughed, a bitter, hateful sound that echoed around her.
Kaia didn’t know why she had laughed, maybe to take her mind off that the inevitable fate of her death. She collapsed, her knees buckling and her body tumbling hard on the charred ground. Tears started to slowly stream down her face, cutting little trails through the dirt that stained her. Kaia looked around to see the limp, lifeless body of her brother and more tears forced their way through.
Kaia slowly shook her head as she forced herself to get up. With her knees shaking, she started walking, thinking about the earlier events of the day. No matter how hard she tried to forget, the death of her brother was burned into her mind. The shock, then the fear in his eyes before they turned dull and lifeless.
And she couldn’t have prevented it. Kaia shook her head again, as if to rid herself of the thoughts. But they kept coming back. Her mother and father peering down on her from the safety of the dome, their eyes cold and unforgiving. Then the final shut of the glass doors, marking the end of Kaia’s existence. Kaia looked down at her hooves and legs, which were stained from her brother’s blood and her own.
She looked up and behind her to realize that the place she had left off at was just merely a dot in a distance. Kaia looked forward again and saw a tree. It wasn’t burned or reduced to a stump by fire and destruction, but it was green and healthy. Large leaves decorated every part of it and the branches curved over, giving it a welcoming feel. It seemed like a portal, because beyond that lay a large, green meadow. “It can’t be real. I’m day dreaming.” Kaia said, disbelief in her voice. She gingerly took a few steps forward and placed her hoof right inside the comfort of the branches.
Her body followed and soon she was standing in the wonderful, green meadow. Relief flared in her chest, then sadness. Tears welled in her eyes again as she thought of her brother. Kaia couldn’t possibly live her normal life all over again. She was the only horse left on the planet, and who knew what dangers lurked in this new life. Kaia argued with herself, telling herself she could stay here and at least live the rest of her few days happy and well fed.
But something tugged at her and wouldn’t leave Kaia alone. Kaia walked out of the field and back into the tree’s branches. She laid down, tucking her legs beneath her, then closed her eyes. The memories hit her as soon as she shut her eyes, but total darkness followed. Kaia finally succumbed to darkness, accepting the comforting arms of sleep that wrapped around her. She sighed, then muttered a few words. “Don’t forget me.”

Ugh you guys, had to make this so hard to choose D: I honestly want you all to win the strawberry, I'm gonna have to say Oswin is the winner of the strawberry, because something about that story stuck to me. Airstruck is the winner of the flea bitten.

Don't worry guys! I promise there will be more! All of your stories were beautifully written and very very entertaining.
