Farewell, sweet Equiverse

Guys,

I haven't been active on here for months. I think it's time I admit defeat and bid you all farewell. 

I just graduated with my veterinary technician degree and after I sit for my national exam, I'll become a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) in the state of Colorado. While it doesn't sound like much, it's huge to me. This has been my dream since I was a kid.

I adopted my first two DOGGOS ever, and I enjoy them so much. 

Eevee  (the pokemon) is a 3-year-old Australian cattle dog mix, and I adopted her because she was estimated to be about 40lbs (about 19kgs) overweight. She's been on a veterinary prescription diet and joint supplements and gets rehab, and has, in the past five months, lost 20lbs (~9kgs). She's able to run and play with Navi and is an all-star cuddler.

Navi (from Zelda) is an almost 1-year-old Husky mix. She is the goofiest, most playful puppy, and she keeps Eevee on her toes.

I love all the new updates to EV, but the truth is...life is calling, and I just don't have the same passion for the pixel ponies that I used to. I've had a wonderful time on here and bred some excellent Dutch Warmbloods and had started a couple of color projects in Gypsy Vanners and Paint horses.

I'll still occasionally check my messages for a month or so, I think. As far as rehoming my ponies go, I'll be seeking out some reputable breeders and friends with whom to place my most special investments, then the rest will be given away, sold, or auctioned. I will not respond to blatant requests for free stuff.

Congratulations on graduation and the lovely doggos! You'll be missed, but real life certainly comes first.
