It would be a shame if that fear turned into something beyond control.

You are an everyday student attending the Academy Of Sortilege on an ordinary school day when an expected yet sudden disaster hits.

Requirements to attend the Academy Of Sortilege:

Must be one of the following:

Vampire

Werewolf/Lycans 

Magic Wielder (force fields, necromancy, abnormal speed, etc.) Needs Approval

Spiritwalker

Shapeshifter 

Nature Tongued

Info on Species:

Vampire:

Can only stand in sun 20 min at a time

Drinks blood - illegal to drink from immediate human source

Can climb any surface with ease

Red eyes

Can be any race

Werewolf/Lycan:

Werewolves shift into over-sized wolves (shoulder height reaches human's shoulder height)

Lycans shift into large two-legged "werewolves" (approx 6'5)

Fatal to silver wounds to the heart (cannot touch silver)

Can shift freely but has no choice on a full moon

Has a pack mentality with friends/family

Magic Wielder:

A human with magical abilities

Follows a 5 point scale - 2.5 being the average magical ability of a teenager

NEEDS APPROVAL

Spiritwalker:

Can shift into a mist-like form or a ghost like appearance with ability to move through solid barriers

Rare but it is possible to summon spirits in the area

Shapeshifter:

Animal Shifter - 5 animal max

Human Shifter - must see the target in person before turning into them

When called by real name by target, is forced to shift back into original appearance

Nature Tongued:

Can speak to animals and/or plants

Can understand werewolves/lycans when in primal form

NOTE: You are a magical person in a human world, there are a lot less of you compared to the number of humans in the world. There are only 7 academies in the world such as this one, one per continent.

I would like to point out that in order to get a full idea of what the disaster may be, you have to roleplay! :)

Name: Ramses Euphrates 

Gender: Male

Age (teenager range): 18

Species: Human Shapeshifter

Personality (opt.): Ramses is a strange man indeed. He almost has this strange creepy aura about him even though he is mostly harmless. He does tend to have a dark mind but overall he is kind to those who give the same respect. He has a weird obsession with his own hair, and likes to sulk when things people don't worship his locks like he does. His favorite hobby is imitating others when they attempt to mock him or pretending to be the person in their life.

Description: Ramses' original form is tall and slender. He has no love for outside activities so there isn't an ouch of extra muscle on his body. His almost black eyes are shaped in a way to show off some half Asian descent, and framing his face is shaggy hair just brushing his shoulders. His face structure is sharp, and somewhat narrow to fit in well with his pale complexion. When seeing him, he will likely be wearing some baggy sweatshirt and old torn up jeans with worn sneakers.

Name: Killa (kee-yuh)

Gender: Female

Age (teenager range): 14

Species: Animal Shapeshifter

Personality (opt.): Some would call Killa an innocent soul. She is curious, but prone to making impulse decisions. Raised in a secluded woods by distant parents, she never really saw the harsh realities that the world offers. She is apt to trust a person wholly until they break her trust. Once trust is broken, you would have to do a lot to regain her favor. She isn't known for her courage, but her curiosity sometimes is stronger then her fear and wariness. 

Description: She is a small girl at the small height of five foot. She is not athletic, preferring to keep her nose in a book. Her form is slender, with long legs in proportion to her torso. Her face shape is defined yet delicate. Her eyes are dark brown, her hair shoulder length and a rich brown. Her facial features are small, and a spattering of freckles crosses her nose and cheeks adjacent the small bump of cartilage. She shape-shifts into a wolf. This wolf's build is almost opposite the small girl's. It is large and well-muscled. It's thick, soft fur is a brown that is almost black and is kept in pristine condition. Silver accents the dark tones. The wolf's eyes are the same shade as the human it originated as.

Other: Killa embraces her wolf side, but sometimes shifts without knowing. She often panics while in wolf form because she can't control shifting back into human. The skill is still foreign and confusing to her. She also has the potential to shift into other animals, but this is unknown to her. 

If we can easily just get two more people to join, I can get this back up in running Oswin :)

Personality (opt.): Mika is very quiet, shy and kind, but she likes to chat to those she trusts. Mika feels very drawn to animals and plants and she is always around them.

Description: Mika would call herself a little shorter than average for her age. She has long, bright red hair and Leafy green eyes. Her facial features dainty, she is pretty skinny and has fair skin.

Other: Mika has only just found out about her abilities. She has strict human foster parents (her real mother left her on the doorstep of an orphanage as a newborn) who she doesn't really like, but they have looked after her for all these years so she tries to protect them -and other relatives- at all cost.

Personality (opt.): she’s tough, stubborn, rebellious and mysterious, but deep down other people fascinate her. But its easier to pretend she doesn’t care. She’s used to walling herself in so that no one can hurt her, but sometimes not sharing her feelings just ends up hurting her more

Description: 5’2, with light tan skin and icy blue eyes. Her hair is brown with purple streaks in it, and she’s got a nose ring and an industrial piercing. Her go to animal is the leopard, since she’s the one she connects with the most, although she recently discovered she can also shift into a hawk. She’s got potential for more animals but she hasn’t really mastered her skills yet

Description: Alice is 5'8, with black hair. She has red eyes, but wishes they were green. She has her ears pierced and normally wears drop earrings unless doing something where she will have to run or be active
