Akita

She finished eating from the buffalo, her belly bulging from how much she ate. She walked to the safety of the red ash forest where she could safely nap. Circling she curled up underneath a tree where she snoozed.

Juniper

Turned her gaze away from the male wolf, though made sure he didn't get any closer. "I haven't even thought about that," she replied truthfully. It wasn't until it was mentioned that she was beginning to feel hungry. Her stomach growled lowly at the thought of a meal to eat. She looked back at the wolf, wondering what his intentions were not that it really mattered unless it put her life on the line.

Maddox

Maddox turned his head to stare at who dared to challenge him, noticing it was a familiar female wolf that belonged to his pack. He growled lowly in annoyance, knowing she had no line drawn when it came to ranking. "Do you think I care about your stupid little hunt for a frog," he snapped as his ear were pinned and he showed his teeth. He highly disapproved of the female being apart of his pack at times, but knew she belonged to a greater extent in which kept him from throwing her out of his territory.

Nero

Nero was pondering about whether or not to share his kill with her, it was only a small rabbit not even big enough to fill him up for the day. He sighed "I suppose I could share my food it's not much but it's something" what was he thinking when did he start to care about other wolves, he tore the rabbit in half and looked at her.

York- a bulky brownish black male wolf with a white chest and calm yellow eyes. He has a small nick of his ear missing. He is a calm wolf very rarely upset about anything but he does often get serious. 4 years old

York made his way through the thunder plains heading toward the lake he knew was nearby. He drank his fill of water before he began walking steadily south along the lake to the river flowing out of it.

Sacka:

"Well you should care!" she shouted, quickly turning around and stomping away.

Maddox

Maddox growled deeply as Sacks got under his skin. His fur was standing on edge from the anger boiling inside him at the naive female. "Watch yourself," he yelled angrily after her as she stomped away, "You never know what buttons you push until you push the wrong ones." He turned away from her heading towards the forest where his den resided. He wasn't much into protecting the carcass from other predators nearby. He wanted to be left alone in his own solitude after the anger that boiled within him due to a delta of his own pack. "What a foolish little wolf," he spoke aloud to himself as he padded beyond the tree line.

(oops, sorry Illusion!)

Sacka:

"Maybe you should be more courteous to those lesser than you!" she shot back. Who does he think he is?

Juniper

Juniper stared at the male in disbelief. "What," she managed to speak out as an stumbled for something to say. She hesitated for a moment about crossing the cold water to where the tempting offering of a meal waited for her. The wolf seemed trustworthy and it seemed she had no other choice as she probably wouldn't have the ability to hunt for herself. Taking cautious steps, she crossed the river at a quicker pace than she thought. The temperature had dropped when the sun had set and the icy water hadn't made it any better. Once on the other side, she lowered he head to sniff at the now halved carcass.

Maddox

Maddox hadn't heard then ending of Sacka's bantering and he could care much less about what it was about anyways. He headed into his den, thinking about nothing but sleep. His anger dissipated as he laid on the cold stone surface of the den. A wind chilled him and caused him to shiver as he wrapped around him like a blanket. He could tell the autumn season was nearing its end as winter was beginning to take over. Laying his head over his paws, he hoped for rest.

Akita

She woke up from her short nap from the sound of crows eating the carcass of the buffalo. sitting up she decided she might as well see what Maddox was doing. She walked over to the carcass, scaring the crows away and began to sniff the ground, following Maddox's scent to the lake.

York

He reached little bear river and finding a shallow spot, waded across into the deadwood forest. He shook the water out of his paws before heading North along the river heading to mammoth Plains.

Nero

Nero wagged his tail slightly and smiled "is the water cold" he knew that the water would be because of winter coming, he shook his fur as a chill went up his spine from the cold "I don't think I told you my name I'm Nero" he was glad that she came over he hadn't really talked to anyone in awhile, but then again he's never really run into other wolves. He lowered his head taking a bite of one of the halves savoring the taste as he chewed, there was no telling when he'd be able to eat another meal.

Akita

She shook out her white fur at the lowering temperature. stopping at the bank of the lake she drank some of the freezing cold water. 'its getting dark, I may want to find a sheltered spot to sleep' she muttered to herself scanning the nearby bushes. There was no telling how far away Maddox had gone by now anyways. She began to dig in the cold dirt, working pretty quickly since the dirt near the lake was soft and in about 30 minutes had a good sized hole in between two bushes and a tree that she and maybe another wolf could fit into.

York

He sniffed the air scenting wolves. He was surprised that more wolves were moving into the area, for it was relatively empty before. he shrugged to himself as he walked out of deadwood forest, scanning the mammoth plains. He spotted crows circling in the sky to land. He laughed at his luck. A buffalo must've died. he shall feast tonight! He ran towards the smell of fresh meat with glee
