Syrus:

Syrus stomped his hoof at the guard "We haven't such time to mess around!". The young knight cowered at his king. "they'll be here, they are just waiting for the right time! Its all a game of chess don't you see? its there move now!" he stomped his hooves as he paced. He walked to the corned of the room gazing out the window and over the castle walls. " this is war" he announced turning his attention to the knight. "send spys. and don't come back with no news"

Burden:

Burden yanked once more on steel bound chains. His legs were bloodied and cut from fighting the chains. " ah young stallion with spirit?" a old hammered voiced whimpered from the other cell. "good luck gettin out" The voice said out of the depths of the shadows. Burdens breath sharpened. He let loose his grip on the chains. "what? wait? who?" he had never noticed another soul as he assumed that he was alone. He was scared and cold and just wanted to be home.

Nora:

Nora's hooves pounded the ground as she gracefully cantered through the field. As she was day dreaming she hit another horse casing her to tumble to the ground. "ahhg!" she screeched. "hey looks like we got a clumsy one.. hehe. Ain't she a pretty one grag?" the tall stallion exclaimed with a bloodied shoulder. He was clearly a knight. " i bet the king will like her ehh?" He said. nora looked at the two stallion as they scooped her up. "what no you can't take me!" she said struggling to fight there grip. They carried her a long way until they come upon a large building. Clearly worthy of no one other but a king. "my King " they said nealing a dropping Nora before the king. Nora starred into the stallions lost eyes. She knew this king, yes she did. "King Cerberus" she said under her breath.

(OH. OOOH. I like it when people supply plot ideas for my characters. Makes writing as fun as reading :3)
(is it okay if the young knight is Atrev?)

Bonita:

The petite mare adjusted her leaf crown absently. Her mate Valiente had just left the kingdom with a bunch of knights, under the king's order, and she was worried.
I grew up without a father. He grew up without any parents. Our foal needs to be raised properly. He can't get himself killed. she fretted. She thought this every moment, it seemed. But, she was pregnant, and no one else knew, so she was right to be worried. Not only that, but the father was the head knight. This was a big deal.

Valiente:

The horned stallion stopped to tighten his armor. Once it was tightened, he shuffled forward again, following his troop. The spies had already left. His group consisted of the strong, brutish horses who were good fighters. Sometimes he felt like they were better than him. Most of the time, actually. He also wondered who, and where, his father was. Was he dead? Why hadn't he claimed him when he was born? Was he from the same kingdom? What if I'm going into war against him?

Atrevido:

Atrev led his small group of spies away from the castle. Even though he wasn't head knight, like Valiente, he was still a respected one. Because of this, he was often chosen to lead troops. But did he like it? No. Not at all. He preferred spying to fighting. That's why, terrified as he was, he was happy to send out spies for King Syrus.
"Atrevido!" a dappled gray stallion called from off to the side. "I think I've found something!"
I wish they'd just call me Atrev. Atrev thought crossly. But he and the rest of the spies trotted over to the gray. At his hooves, there were two large sets of hoofprints. They drug the ground awkwardly, as though the horses had been carrying something. Something heavy.

King Cerberus:

The king eyed the mare suspiciously. She was pretty, but she seemed fiery. Just like them. Just like the ones who died and left me to turn cold.
"She's a young one. A good one. Was she hard to find?" he asked bluntly. "In any case, bring her to the holding room. Lock the door tight once she's in there. But don't chain her. And guard the door." he ordered, turning around and walking down a dark corridor.
Why did I want her? She'll just leave me. Die without me. They all do.

Syrus

Syrus kept a close update on any news that was good news the spys had returned to castle. None yet but there could be a fairly good chance they find some troops from the south kingdom. he though as he walked along the halls of the stone engraved castle. His cape fluttered in the tiny breezes that drifted throughout the castle windows. The stocky stallion stopped when he sighted a figure outside the castle walls. It was two little foals playing as there mothers watched closely. He desired a daughter or son of his own that he could look over. but it had to be with the right mare. He sometimes believed it was impossible for him to ever have a family to protect.

Burden

Burden kept an ear perked at the voice. But soon grew tiered of it talking and completely shut it out. probrably just some metal ill old stallion that has been in here for decades he though to himself. Red stained the floor as the blood dripped from his legs. It was healing, but slowly. He heard the door open as the cell door leading into the cell area was opened. He then saw two young stallions, the cell keepers shovel in a young very stunning mare. These two stallions were the same ones that dragged him in. The threw her into the warmest cell there was the only cell with a wooden door and some windows.

Nora

Nora starred into his cold eyes but looking away when he made eye contact with her. The stallions threw her into a stall that looked to be the one with the most light. The smell was terrible down there. she stood as the two horses slammed the door shut. She began to spin around on her haunches looking for any way out.

Bonita:

Bonita paced. Valiente still hadn't returned.

Valiente:

He and his troop trudged onward, heading toward the other kingdom. The lost mare was probably there- everyone knew it. But they didn't say it, for fear that they would be shunned for assuming. But was it really assuming when it was obvious?

Atrevido:

He stared at the prints.
"I knew it. But who honestly didn't? Well, we need to tell Syrus. Immediately. Astrix, since you found it, choose all but three spies and take them with you to inform the king." he told the dappled gray. The stallion looked at him with a warning, probably because he hadn't addressed Syrus as My King, but Atrev could care less.
"You three." Atrev called to three of the stealthiest horses in the group. "Come with me. We'll try and find Valiente and his warriors so we can tell them what we found. After that, we'll continue on toward the South Kingdom to spy."
So Atrev and the three spies cantered off to try and find Valiente.

King Cerberus:

Cerberus walked past the cells. He peered inside Burden's stall. Without saying a word, he moved on to Nora. He smiled coldly when he saw her spinning around.
"How does it feel to be trapped?" he snarled.

Syrus

Syrus had yet heard no new news, he was beginning to worry for his knights. He could nt afford a loss of life of one of them. He had heard word of the missing mare but figured she had run or been captured. it wasn't lie she was royalty though she was very popular.

Burden

Burde eyed the dark souled stallion as he swiftly scooted past his cell. Burden gave a frown as he walked past. Even though the king didnt see it he felt proud of himself.

Nora

Nora's breath sharpened to a point. She stopped moving. She walked over to the cell door that had a window with bars. She stuck her nose as far through the bars as she could "why am i here?" she said in a low tone showing do fear but no fire. "why do you want me, or do you simple just love watching horses rot away?" she said a teansy bit snappy. She could feel a weird vibe as she looked at the stallion, studying his body movements.

Astrix (making form later):

Astrix ran into the castle, his group following. "My King!" he puffed. "We found a large set of hoofprints that looked to have been carrying something heavy. Atrev and three others are off to try and find Valiente and his troop to inform them. Any orders, My King?"

Atrevido & Valiente:

Atrev and the spies galloped at full speed, branches ripping at their manes. Finally, they saw familiar horses ahead.
"Valiente!" Atrev shouted. "Over here!"
The bay stallion quickly turned around. "Why do you look so-"
"-Panicked? Because we are." Atrev said, cutting him off. Cutting off the head knight probably wasn't the wisest thing, but Valiente was Atrev's sister's mate. He would treat him as he pleased. He respected Valiente, but he didn't think of him as a higher being.
Valiente flattened his ears. "Why? Can you at least answer me?"
Atrev ignored his annoyance. "We found evidence that two large horses carried something heavy this direction. Probably the lost mare."
"Just my suspicion." Valiente confirmed.
"We're off to spy now." Atrev called, trotting away. "See ya!"
Valiente rolled his eyes. Cocky stud.

King Cerberus:

"Do I love watching you rot? That depends. Do you like it when everyone you love dies? Do you like it when you have to exist alone? If so, then I'll gladly watch you rot. If not, then... you will anyway. Just like me." he growled. Old hurt flashed in his malicious eyes, but didn't last long, as he strode off into the shadows.

Syrus

Ayrua rushed to the knight desperate for news. " dont let them go past the mountain range to the south, the northern knights will spot you for sure as there is a camp for troops around the range.. dont be seen. got it?" he said in a stern voice. He was pleased that the young stallion had come through for him. "your a good knight Astrix" he said smiling. "i put my trust you and all of your fellow knights"

Nora

nora frowned at the comment " don't worry there all gone anyways! So i guess me aren't so much different as you think?" she stampered trying to get his attention.

Astrix:

"Okay, My King. T-thank you." he stammered, shocked at the compliment. "I'll take one other horse with me to find the others. However... Atrevido said that, after he warned Valiente's troop, his group would continue on and spy. I may be able to stop Valiente in time, but... I think Atrev and his three followers will have been spotted already... or they may have gotten in. What are your thoughts, sir?"

Atrevido:

Atrev cursed as he stepped in a hole. He looked down. A deliberate hole, by the look of it. Someone had intentionally made this hole. But who? Why?
Just then, he heard neighing from up ahead. Right in front of the southern mountain range. Right ahead of him and his group. Branches shook as a large troop of steeds emerged from all sides, surrounding the four spies.
Seriously? Atrev thought.
"Why are you here?" a gigantic stallion snarled in his face.
"Um..." Atrev trailed off. I dunno, we're maybe spying on you? Knights are so dumb.
"Exactly." the warrior nickered. "Breaking the law." He swiftly turned and clubbed one of Atrev's followers on the head with a front hoof. The small horse collapsed to the ground, dead.
Atrev pinned his ears, furious. But really, he thought, We're doomed...
The South Kingdom troop pushed the remaining two spies and him ahead, making a circle around them. Then, the huge stallion that had killed the spy put chain lassos around each of the other spies' necks, and then gave each chain to one of his troopmates. Atrev dodged his chain.
"I won't go!" he yelled, biting the horse on the withers and running away. However, two other stallions got in his way, and grabbed his mane in their teeth. He squealed as they reached down and grabbed his crest. The bitten stud came over and kicked him in the head. Atrev slumped unconscious against the two horses as they chained him and drug him by his front legs toward... wherever they were going.

Valiente:

Valiente and his troop stumbled nearer to the mountain range. As he looked up at the towering cliffs, Valiente tripped over a dead body. A dead body from his kingdom.
"Gah!" he shouted.
"What?" one of his troop questioned.
"It's... it's a dead member of our kingdom." he answered. But then he looked closer. "A spy. One of Atrev's spies."
His jaw dropped as he heard neighing and shouting up ahead. "That's them! They're captured!" he hissed to his troop. "Come on! They need help!"
By the time they got there, only blood remained. But no more bodies. At least they were all alive... but now officially in Southern Kingdom territory. Not good.

Cerberus:

"How did they die?" he snarled. "Do you feel like you caused it? Caused them to leave you?"

Syrus:

Syrus pondered for a second " we can't risk more nights being killed... we will wait. Asterix rest up, there is food in the mess hall as you know for our knights. We will wait for any news or sightings of the knights" he said as he looked to the young stud. he did hope that none of his knights were injured of perhaps killed and he hoped they did not lurk anywhere to close for comfort to the south kingdom.

Nora

Nora looked at the stallion confused " to pained to talk about. what is the meaning of this? why do you have me here?" Even though it seemed she didnt she desired to know more about teh mysterious stallion. She wanted to know his story.

Astrix:

Astrix ate, and then rested up. He was worried about his friends.

Valiente:

Valiente and his troop galloped back to the kingdom to receive orders. I hope they're okay...

King Cerberus & Atrevido:

"I have you here because I need you to be my queen. Understand?" Cerberus snapped, looking back over his shoulder. He was tired of arguing with this mare.
The troop entered the castle. They headed down into the dungeon, where the king was.
Cerberus's head shot in their direction. "Why are you here? Who do you have?"
The group parted to show him the two spies and the unconscious knight.
Cerberus smirked. "We got him. Good work, knights. You can kill those two." he said, nodding at the chained spies. "We only really need Atrevido to bait the North Kingdom. He is alive, correct?"
The giant steed who had knocked him out nodded smugly.
"Good. Lock him in a cell and chain him up." Cerberus said briskly.
The two spies cowered as their holders clubbed their heads. Thunk, thunk. They fell over, dead. The horses then drug them outside to leave their bodies somewhere.
Atrev was dragged into a cell next to Nora. He was chained and locked in. Only then did he start to regain conscience. Where am I?

Syrus

Syrus paced worried for his knights. He looked out the window beyond the castle walls seeing that valentine and some of his troops had returned. They were moving at a rapid pace too. This worried syrus.

Nora

Said nothingme. queen? she thought. The conversation was cut off by the knights that were drug in. She gave a gasp stepping back in her cell only to be greeted with the cold red stained wall.

Burden:

Burden watched as they drug the knights in. one of them was through in the cell next to him and the others were killed. He must be important he thought to himself. His wounds had fully healed now but scabs took there place on the skinned areas. He looked at the stallion clearly confused with the situation.
