Attention presidents!

As you may know I'm trying to build up a Breeders Directory for every breed on EV so that we can have an up-to-date list of breeders and what they focus on, which hopefully will serve as a useful resource for players to find like-minded breeders.

What I was hoping the official club presidents could do is encourage their club members to add their details to it, as the more information this has the more useful it will be. Perhaps by mentioning it in their next newsletter, or on their club's page? Up to you.

You may also find it useful to display a directory for your breed on your club's page, and I've put together some code which will automatically display the latest version of your breed's directory, and allow people to readily add their own details to it. If you prefer, you can instead link to it, and I've made up a series of banners you can use if you want. The code to do all these things can now be found at the very end of each breed directory.

If you need any help with this code or the Breeders Directory please let me know - I'm happy to help out.

I'm the president of the Clydesdale Club for August. Our club doesn't have a Breeder's Directory. I'd be happy to set one up if you think there's enough time for me to do it before my term expires September 1st. Thanks!

What do I have to do to paste this correctly into the GVC layout??? I so want to add this for our members to have easy access too. :)

You can put it in the layout as a simple link.

I've sent you guys some code which will both add the breeder's directory to your club pages, and also format it so that it integrates into the existing layouts. Hope this helps. :) Please don't hesitate to ask me if you need any changes.

For everyone else, if you're trying to do the same but don't need it integrated into the existing layout, you can instead add the code given in the first post on to the very end of your layouts. This will display the directory on your page after everything else. From there you can change the styling, positioning, etc as you see fit.

This method will just produce a link to the directory. To insert the directory directly the code given in the first post will work, however I've updated the instructions to make it clearer what to do.

I know, is that not the point? If you didn't necessarily want to add a whole iframe into your already existing layout. Especially if they're already cluttered and long.

I misunderstood Feathered Gold's post as wanting to just have access to the page, my bad.

Sure. :) The below code can be added below your current layout (remove * first) to show the Breeders Directory. If you'd like help tweaking it, let me know what you'd like it to do and I'll adjust it.

I've added this to the club page. I'm going to comb through it to see who is still active within the GV breeders. I will mention it in my Monday Newsletter.

I tried adding myself but seem unsuccessful.

Am I really lacking this much in coding skills?!

Can you tell me what you did, Lucra? Or redo it on your page? I'll have a look and see if I can fix it for you.

*edit* Issue found. Seems the small maths captcha problem wasn't answered correctly when you submitted your details to the directory. Your draft was saved though, so I submitted it for you. Should be fine now.
