Breeders Directory [help needed]

PegasusDreamer, I took a look at the page and it seems your information was saved in a draft, which I was able to edit then upload.

To upload it I pressed 'Save' then was presented with a simple maths problem just above the button. I typed the correct number in the provided box, then pressed save again, and the page was updated with my edits. Is this what you were doing? Can you also confirm if your information on the page is now correct?

Could you answer my questions about what was happening when you were having this issue? I'd really like to resolve this problem so it doesn't affect anyone else but if I don't get any more details I have no way to figure out what was going wrong.

but every link needs to look like this:

player name

the target="blank" will open it in a brand new tab instead of confining it to the site. just thought i'd drop that in. all of my names on the breeds are already set up like that!

EDIT:

also for everyone having issues, please first click SAVE at the bottom of the page, then the equation will appear at the bottom of the page above the buttons. solve it, then click SAVE & CONTINUE

I've changed the settings on each page so that all links open in a new tab/window by default. This means that you don't need to add any special code to each link, it'll just happen automatically.

Another update! I've just finished optimising the layout, so it should be quite prettified now. :D Please let me know what you think, or if there's anything that isn't displaying well. It should also work a bit better on smaller screens. Mobile users, I'm especially keen to hear if it's displaying ok for you guys.

Added my info in, but just stuck my name at the bottom of the relevant lists, before realizing most of them seemed to be alphabetical. :P Apologies. I can go fix it later. Fixed it, now.

Added myself to TB racing + color! I don't really do color yet, but that's one of my goals as soon as I'm at a high enough level to breed again! I used to try and breed for colors before the recode, so I guess I count?
Also, the URL link didn't work for me. I changed "URL" to the TB breed directory's URL, but when I put the link on my page it didn't work... is it just my computer?

You're not doing anything wrong, Raptorfang - my code was wrong. I think the forums changed the < symbols to something else. I've fixed it now, so give it another go and let me know if everything's ok.

Just some fun stats on the Breeders Directory:
Age: 234 days (almost 8 months!)
Total edits: 687
Total entries: 903
Players listed: 217
Largest three directories: Gypsy Vanner (187 entries), Quarter Horse (76 entries), Clydesdale (54 entries)

A small update:
Unfortunately I've had to remove compatibility with iframes, as they weren't working well and after much research it became clear this couldn't be fixed. All this means is that you won't be able to display a directory directly on your page, and you'll instead have to link to it. The upside is that this frees me up to expand the functionality and features on the page, so you can look forward to a much better breeders directory in the future. I hope you guys like all the new features that will be rolled out in the near future. :D
