New job at a stable…update!! 1
#264844 Posted on 2023-01-05 21:54:52 If you’ve been keeping up with me, I’ve posted that I just recently got two horses within the past couple months(Daisy&Lily), we’ll today I got a call from one of my dads friends. My dreams as a little girl are coming true! She owns a dressage stable about 10 minutes from my house, and I’ll be going there in the mornings to turn out horses, clean stalls, clean tack, feed etc. And I’m going to be getting riding lessons! So I’ll be learning dressage(I’ve always wanted to!) and I’m getting paid to do something I absolutely love doing! I start this Sunday, so I’ll be posting an update and hopefully some more pictures! #265196 Posted on 2023-01-13 12:43:02 Update- I went my first day and it was just as awesome as expected! I cleaned stalls for awhile(there are around 14-15). Got the feel for the place and met everyone and all the horses. It was raining so we didn’t turn out or anything. But the pony I’m going to start riding on, His name is Sylvester. I don’t know his breed or age yet, but he is very sweet. Next week I’m going to learn how to feed, give grain and hay and hopefully turn out if it’s not too wet again! 0 members like this post.
