hey all! thought i'd start the new year with a contest

i genuinely hate making my own characters/using my own art so what better opportunity than to let the community finish it for me for 5 million EVD!

the rules are very relaxed, the only thing i ask is that what is already created stays the same. everything else is up to you! you can credit yourself as the designer as all i really did was the head. free lines or custom lines are fine, i do prefer high quality lineart though. if you need some ideas on what i like, you can look in my dA favorites here. if nobody comes up with anything i like i will close without a winner, otherwise this will end on january 10th. ♥

This is what I have so far. I'm not happy with the markings. I'm going to edit them tomorrow.

Finally managed to finish the design I did! It took 65 layers...so yeah it was brutal lol

also didn't realize Altair used the same lines I chose, so I hope that it's okay...anyways here it is..!

Woah, wow those are so wonderful, even I'm still forgetting layers, but those are really cute and adorable and cool! I wish I had a computer system so I could hook up my art tablet.. I can't really draw- at all on an art tablet.. And I'm not joking because it's crappy and weird, I can't draw shapes at all or even try to draw something.

Thank goodness I unhooked it, but still have the files to the art tablet, can't do anything since it's not really a different type of computer-

And I'm off topic-

The art on the horse for @Deer Creek's design is really cool looking!

And @Altair's art is just wonderful!

I love these! Though I respecy boundaries, and horse designs for @wey, very lovely and adorable!

Anyways I should get since I gotta work on Eclipsetess's second art work-

Throwing my hat in last minute, I forgot I'd even tried something to get back into the swing of arting. They looked very overo/sabino-y looking.

@Maple - Oh my goodness that design is just gorgeous! I still can't figure out a name for the horse you designed for me for a trade, but I wish I had more designs made by you. Your chibi lines are just so cute! :3 ♥

Ahh thank you. ♥ I always mean to make more things but I don't like a lot of what I make when I do have the time. If that design doesn't go anywhere I'll probably change it up a bit and auction it off. ^^

I'll definitely be keeping an eye out if it doesn't then!

Eek! Thank you everyone who entered! The design that came closest to what I was picturing I wanted is Maple’s. I definitely had a very overo type design in mind. All four designs were so unique and different from one another and I thank you all for entering. I would love to give the other 3 artists 1 mill each as a thank you for entering, I will be sending everyone’s money shortly! For the designs that weren’t picked, you are welcome to do whatever you wish with them.
