Unknown (white) horse color

I have a paint horse with the color Unknown (white). The horse is just white with blue eyes, I'm confused why it says unknown.help? lol

One of the News updates states that

"White is no longer shown as a horse's coat color, in order to reduce confusion; if a horse has not been gene tested its coat color will be listed as Unknown (White). Performing a genetic test will reveal the underlying coat color. If your horse has the white marking and is a bay, the color would then be shown as Bay (White) after the genetic test has been performed"

So my guess is your horse hasn't been sent to the Vet for gene testing. it costs $1k to gene test your horse. I hope this helps :D 

That is correct, if a horse says Unknown (White) then it needs to be genetically tested to show the hidden colour. In real life horses with the white gene are born fully white, hiding any other colour they might have. Whereas with grey they slowly fade to a white/grey colour, so we can see their original colour beforehand.
