Early Christmas Anyone

Quiet frankly i could care less about the holiday or any holiday for that matter, I'm the only one in my family that doesn't care for them, but that's not the point of this post.

This sunday my whole family is having an early christmas, at least its early for my mom and shes dragging everyone into it. She is having everyone go over this weekend to open presents she bought, she has this whole day planned and just no. I am dreading the day, i do not want to go...i want to stay home chill with my cats and drink some hot coco. I mean she even had her tree up before thanksgiving...before as in right when it hit november. There is such a thing as to early and my mom has hit that mark. 

Now i could stay home, i could make an exscuse as to why i didn't show up but...i dont want to hear my mom's preach about family time and why i dont vist her much. I mean i get why shes putting this togeather so early with her upcoming surgery but dang can we not.

Anyone want to take my place? I'll switch places for a day XD

Honestly, try to make the best of it. Last Christmas was like that for me for a handful of reasons but I pushed through it and looking back now, it was actually really nice. Just remember your family loves and cares about you and genuinely wants to see you. So make face, put that ole cheesy grin on. If you go into it with a chip on your shoulder, you wont have fun. But if you go in KNOWING you're going to enjoy yourself, it'll set the tone for the remainder of the get-together. :) have fun! 

I do plan on trying to enjoy the day but seeing as I don't get along with my brother and one of my older sisters and don't get me started on the husband of my mother, its going to be a bit hard to enjoy the day. To be honest my family is a bit of a chaotic type and the majority of us don't get along and a fight nearly always pops up during a big get together like this one is planned to be. If it was anyone else of the family that was putting this together I most certainly wouldn't show up, I'll probably end up showing up late just so I don't have to stay long.
