Niko's Re-Introduction

Hello all! I'm not sure if anyone really remembers me so I'll introduce myself again. I joined last year, but became very ill and stopped playing all my games. I am feeling much better now and am back!!

I plan to focus hard on Miniature Horses and will probably have TWH, Gypsies, appies and paints too. haha.

I plan to do a good bit of art and layouts as well! I'm already working on some adoptables!

I have ten RL equines... haha.. yes... ten. We have a mix of American paint horses and Miniature horses and one donkey. I grew up riding hunter, dressage and western with my APHA horses until an accident in 2011 stopped most of my riding. (I was thrown off a youngin I was breaking and landed on my head and neck. I crushed my left sacroiliac joint in my back.)

I found minis and driving through a friend a few years ago now and have been hooked ever since! It is a great way for me to keep in the horse world (along with judging.)

Enough Talk... Here are some mini pictures!

Cupid - Kakos I Spotted Cupid - AMHA/AMHR smoky black appy colt born on Valentines day 2015. He is our future stud prospect. Plans to show him halter, obstacle, driving and jumping.



Spock - THQ Storybook It's Only Logical - Born here at Storybook! 2015 black R registered colt. Will be gelded and kept for a show horse. Plans to do halter, driving, and jumping.



Ella - THQ Storybook I'm No Fairytale - 2015 AMHA/AMHR black tobiano filly. Born here at storybook! Should mature 31-32 inches. Plans to be shown halter, driving, obstacle, jumping.



We also have three mini broodmares - Lady, Mercedes, and Abby!

And I have my three APHA mares: Lila, Lexi and Penny.

And our Donkey, Lucy.

Edit: OK I feel bad not showing everyone so here are the rest, haha!

Lady - Broadway Colors Luck Be A Lady - AMHR black mare 37.5 inches. She was a two time national driving champion in Country Pleasure with several Hall of Fames!



Mercedes - Mercede's Love Potion - AMHA/AMHR Slilver Dapple Tobiano mare 31 inches. She is Ella's mom. :) She showed a lot of pinto before we got her and we're hoping to show her obstacle again. She is the SWEETEST mini and we adore her.



Abby - Abby Go Lightly - AMHR Chestnut Appy Mare 33 inches. We love miss abby.. though she could stand to lose some weight. haha! She showed some before we got her and we're hoping to get her back in shape and show her obstacle this year.



Big Horses:

Lila - Justa Tender Asset - 17 YO APHA Smoky black overo mare. My retired show horse. She was my show horse through my youth and Novice Ammy career. Now we just piddle around and go on trail rides when I'm up for riding. (I had a bad back injury from a green broke horse that prevents me from riding like I used to.) We used to show everything from western to dressage.♥



Lexi - Fancy My Assets - 4 YO APHA Palomino sabino over mare. She is Lila's daughter out of The Ultimate Fancy. She was sadly born the year after my accident so I have not had the ability to break her myself. I like to not start my horses until 3/4 anyway so she will hopefully be going to a trainers soon!



Penny - Carolina Sensation - 9 YO APHA chestnut overo mare. She is my mom's trail horse and probably one of the sweetest horses around!



Lucille Ball - Lucy/loo/looloo/donkey - 5 year old donkey. Possibly the best behaved donkey that still does her job of protecting the minis.

Thank you Maan! We adore her to pieces! I said it looks like someone poured paint on her back. I'll try to get a photo of her other side to show up!

I love all your minis they're so precious! I drive a full size horse but minis have always looked like sooo much fun to drive. Do you only do pleasure driving or have you done combined driving too?

Sasan - I wish there were more like me. I was in the paint world for 14 years and I can't tell you how many horses I saw ruined by starting them way too early. :( I refuse to ruin a horse to potentially win money a few years. I've never started a horse riding until 3, and even then it was a later three year old. I make sure they are perfect ground wise, but otherwise let them be horses. haha. My show horses were always out at least 12 hours a day. We follow the same policies for our minis as well. Of course, AMHA/AMHR have policies in place to make sure minis are not shown in cart before 3 YO. I wish APHA was the same!

Thank you Aglet! I adore this game and the improved artwork is just amazing! I pretty much stopped playing everything from October until now due to getting sick... then bronchitis... then pnumonia... then bronchitis again... then a sinus infection. haha All with horrible asthma. Luckily I found a doctor who really was concerned and through him as the allergist and asthma doctor I'm back on track to recovery. This was one of the only games I really missed so I knew I had to come back!
