Bera
Bera noticed another wolf responding to the large wolf's words, but payed it no mind. She nodded, dismissing the wolf for the moment, instead facing the second wolf, replying, "It is my territory, though." A hint of malice crept into her tone, but she otherwise showed no intent of attacking; and afterwards elected to remain silent, waiting for the wolf to reply and keeping a wary eye on the black wolf. A corner of her mind was aware of the two wolves behind her, but she didn't acknowledge them. They can stay for awhile, it's not easy to find shelter in this blizzard, after all, she decided. A small part of her hoped they'd stay, but she refused to listen to it. I'm not going to let that happen again, not after... not after the last time I made that mistake.

Haunt
She eyed the young wolf, keeping back a snarky remark. She felt her fur rise as two more wolves appeared from the snow. She couldn't help it, she didn't trust others, especially not when there was several.

Ghost

Ghost saw two other wolves, and surprised himself by leaping back and growling loudly. He bared his teeth. "Don't come near me." He growled, and kept watching them while drinking a little more water.

Haunt
a low growl rumbled in her chest at the younger wolf's sudden movement. She was tense, the energy around the 5 five wolves was like lightning, it was crackling with tenseness. She didn't like it.

Ghost

Ghost kept his head low. He didn't want to fight, but he would if he had too. He dug his claws in the ground, watching the other wolves, his eyes focused on the one that had spoken to him. His eyes stayed in

Haunt
She quietly started to trot off. all this tension was getting to her, if she stayed to long she'd probably end up snapping, and a fight was not what she needed, although she wouldn't back down from one if she needed to fight. She hoped they wouldn't notice her leaving, but

Ghost

Ghost held his breath as the wolf trotted away quietly. He gave a low threatening growl, to make sure she wouldn't trick him.

Haunt
she spun as the wolf snarled at her, and snarled back, eyes flashing.

Ghost

Ghost realised what was happening. He stood up straight, his fur sticking up on end. He may be small, and young, but he would do anything for his family. Including fighting. He dug his claws into the ground again, and growled again, louder this time.

Bera
Bera could tell this wasn't a good situation for any of them. There was a good chance a fight would break out, and it wouldn't be easy to maneuver in all this snow. It was too cold to fight very efficiently, too. With all of these wolves, it would be hard to tell who was on her side. The first two wolves might fight with her, but there was no telling, and with the other two wolves, they likely wouldn't defend her from an attack. The snow blew in her face as she stood there, too proud to show how cold she was. The wolf with the white streak kept his eyes on her, and she did the same, wondering if he was planning something. And then she noticed movement beside her, and allowed her glance to flick briefly towards it, before returning her attention to the others. The completely black wolf was gone, and a dark figure a short distance away provided proof of it. But her vision was too blurred by the snow to tell exactly where they were, or where they were headed. She filtered through the different options, but then realized that the wolf that had been looking at her was snarling, not at her, but at the other wolf. She hoped this didn't start a fight, but accepted the fact there was nothing she could do, and watched calmly.

Ghost

Ghost could hear a voice, but he kept staring at the other wolf. He could feel anger rising up inside him. If that wolf stepped forward anymore, he would go crazy. He allowed himself to turn his head to the other wolf, watching it, but quickly turned back.

Haunt
She took a small step forward, testing the young wolf. She knew she could easily beat him, but didn

Ghost

Ghost watched as the wolf moved forward. He growled and then leapt forward pouncing on her with all his strength, digging his sharp claws into her shoulder. As he leapt back onto the ground, he rammed into the other wolfs side hard, standing his ground as the snow whipped his ears.

Haunt
She stood firm through his attack, and swiftly snapped her jaws hard on his paw, pulling him off balance.

Bera
Bera shook her head in disbelief at the pointlessness of the fight, but when the wolf rammed into her, she refused to stay out of the fight, waiting until the solid black wolf's attack set him off balance to surge forward, sinking in hard with her teeth and darting back before he could react, she hoped. Staying out of his range so he would have to go out of his way to counterattack, she growled a soft warning, hoping he would know not to mess with her. She knew the wolf was younger than her, and likely less experienced than her; not to mention he had two attackers, and she had only one, unless the solid black wolf decided to mess with her, which would be a bad decision. She had lots of experience with fighting and hunting. Well, she hoped it would be a bad decision, and she hoped she had more experience than either of them. She needed a strategy, clearly. She hoped she wouldn't have to engage in any fighting, but this was her territory, and she knew she had to make a stand, or she wouldn't keep it. She wasn't sure what the two black wolves were fighting over, but if they fought her, she was going to fight back.
