Tweaks and Upcoming Features

Just a small one today but I've been fixing and tweaking a few things here and there, thought I should let everyone know :)

Feature Tweaks
* Credit Sales now has a maximum price which adjusts based on the current average price. This is to try and stop crazy inflation amounts and to try and encourage members to use the Credit Sales as a more secure method of buying and selling credits rather than using the forums. When listing your credits for sale, you will only be able to increase the price by 1% of the current average (not current highest price).
* Leisure Riding encounters that award stats should now give stats based on the horse's specialty.
* Rescue Center has had a bit of a rearrange - horse ID has been removed from the name as there's no real reason for it to be there. Average conformation has been added to the horse listings, grade has been converted to the short version (Novice 1 > N1) and moved to the horse's name.

* When you click on a Rescue Center horse to view it, you will now be able to use the Next Horse and Previous Horse buttons to view the other horses in the list. The Current Division button in the middle has been turned into a Rescue Center link which will take you back to the Rescue Center with your previous filters selected.

Bug Fixes
* Horses should now be removed from the Rescue Center after 3 days of lingering.

Upcoming
* Backgrounds. These will be sold in the General Store (until I can think up a better place for them) and in the Credit Shop (for special backgrounds) as equippable items for your horses.
* With the introduction of backgrounds, I will be removing the ability to add custom images to horses. I appreciate that this was a highly requested feature to have back, but it's been around for a while and only 1 horse in the entire game has a custom image.
* Group Messages
* Horse heights
* Forum Condensing (What is this?)

Admin
I've received a lot of lovely applications for the admin role, and I will be sorting through them tomorrow and contacting the person I pick privately over the weekend or early next week. I will announce who got the role in the next news post.

Lots of awesome updates! I'm very glad to see the tweak to leisure riding - finally I can use it again! I'm also a big fan of the alterations to credit sales - the inflation has gotten really really outrageous, it seemed to me, so hopefully that will keep it more in check. The rearranging of the info for the RC is also very nice. Thank you!

Merf. Kinda bummed about the custom image being removed. I don't have loads of time to play so it's taking me a long time to get to level 30. If It wasn't set to level 30 a lot of my horses would have custom images. :\

I too am very sad about the custom image loss, The whole reason i got into this site was to have something like horseland was back in the day. My favorite part about horseland was making custom images. I think the whole reason tags and signatures are so popular on here is because people can't get to level 30 very easy and in place of custom images on horses they do the tags instead. I know for myself I would have no interest in taking the backgrounds the game provide and abusing them. I take my own pictures and use them as background as that is the whole point of a custom image. no other horse sim game has the option for custom images and I think this would keep equiverse unique.

While these changes sound amazing, I am also one of the few posting here sad about the custom images. I LOVE making photo manipulations and really want to be creating them for my horses and it would be a big disappointment to me to see an awesome feature like this removed. Custom images make the horse more unique from what others have and I think it should be kept. I also agree that level 30 is very hard to get to and that it might be a really good idea to drop the reward for giving horses custom images down from level 30--maybe to level 10/15? I think you will see a major jump in people using this feature by doing so. Better to give it a try before getting rid of it all together?
