*Forum Condensing

Hey all

I want to do a bit of tidying in the forums as I feel currently we're a bit spread out.  I've come up with a list of boards and categories that I'd like to have, and I will be automatically moving topics where a board closes.  Moderators may have the wonderful job of moving any posts that no longer belong on a board ;)

I will be dropping the under 13's section and will leave up 1 board for over 18's, merging the general discussion and rants, because I feel that they don't really get used as is but it's always nice to have a place for adults.


Game Guides -> will be its own link to a board, not a category
Help Me -> will be its own link to a board, not a category

Just because I'm curious, which of the boards will the under 13 people get to see (except for the 18+ obviously)? I know you said that you're dropping the 13- section, but is the age restriction for the other boards (art, roleplaying, ect.) gone now or left as-is?

The age restriction for under 13s will just be removed with the exception of 18+.

Super excited for this! Sometimes I have no clue where I should put a certain topic, even though I've been here for 5 years lol. 

If you ever have a question about what forum to post in us mods are happy to help you out! Or move your thread if you've placed it in the wrong place xD

I'm excited to see this change because I think it will simplify things a lot.

Any chance we could get a layout/coding sales (and maybe help) board? I feel like that's something that deserves it's own board. I know I'm biased, but it'd be nice to have a special area for that. 

I think this is a great idea. We do have several boards that are very similar, so condensing it down is a good idea. I'm also glad to hear we're getting a Game Guides board.

I don't think a separate area for coding is needed. We don't get very many such posts as is, and most of the time they could fit into existing categories such as 'Other Art Sales', 'Art Gallery, Help and Critique' or 'Help Me'.
