Andalusian stallion for stud with my mare

#85328 Posted on 2017-01-04 14:24:14

I'm planning to breed my horse ✰✰ Ancient Lava (#489415) and I realized I really want a cremello dun foal. I think it's one of the prettiest colors! To get it I need to find a stud whose genes are ee, aa, gg, DD or Dd, and CrCr. I don't care about the kit genes right now. Does anyone have a dressage Andy with those genes and confo above 60 they'd be willing to stud for at least one foal? We can negotiate the price privately.

Well, I have two that are close...I discovered, to my surprise, that I have nothing with the dun gene. Heh. Guess I will have to work on that...

The first is a Cremello, and the second is a Palomino. I think you will be very happy with the confo on both, and they are both dressage. :) If you are not happy with the stat distribution, I would consider converting and reconverting the discipline, as I have already done that with quite a few stallions. :)

Louis Auguste (He has to reach 500 stats before I will do it, but that's in a few days...)

DC Bouquet (This one is ready to go.)

@silverfoxmar Thanks for replying so quickly! Since my mare is CrCr, breeding with a palomino or a cremello will produce a cremello foal, which I'd happily settle for if I can't find a dun stud. Their non-specialty stats are higher than I prefer my horses to have unfortunately. How much would converting & reconverting lower them?

Probably quite a bit...I have had the non-specialty stats go down into the double digits, and they are only that high because I have been using hay cubes, and the derp that I am didn't think to start with the wrong specialty so I wouldn't be paying for conversion twice. :P

Just dropping in with this...I reconverted the following mares today, if you want examples of how the specialty stats turn out:

DC La Playa De Arena
DC Strawberry Delight
DC Harvest Moon
DC House Of The Rising Sun

I bred all of them, so that probably is related to it, but some of the non-specialty categories dropped from the 40's and 50's into the single digits.

Yeah I would definitely be happy with those stats! I'm going to wait and see if anyone else replies over the weekend then I'll PM you.

Depending on when you want to breed your lovely girl, I might be able to help. I have a very handsome silver smokey cream dun stallion - ♫ Knight's Moon - being brought up, that I will be standing to a select number of outside mares when he comes of age.

I will also be standing ♫ Cascade - dunalino - to a select number of outside mares when he comes of age.

Feel free to pm if you have any further questions about the boys =)
