The EV Art Club

I know this doesn't really have to do with the thread, but I just joined this art club!

Yep! Its supposed to be more community run though that hasnt happened much. Since I've been able to be on EV more often again and the last contest had a few participants, i have hope that there may be more active people now. Ruby and I are trying to work up some ideas to get people participating and helping/supporting each other grow, since the point of this club is to be able to lift other up and help everyone improve while sharing pretty art

How do I put art in a post.I need some tips on my drawing!

@Crimson Stables: Upload it to an image hosting site (such as imgur), right click on the image, select 'copy image address', and click the little 'add image' button (it's the square with the green dot in the corner), then paste the URL in the specified box and click 'Insert'. Hope that makes sense!

Makes sense! I will upload it when I am finished. It is just a head. A very bad head.

Hi Crimson! So this isn't a super bad attempt, but it looks like you traced over Pearly White instead of using Pearly White as a reference. If you want to practice art, it would be best to avoid using EV art to practice with as it's a bit close to breaking Terms of Service, so I suggest that in the future you use stock photos (there's a guide here that you can look at). If you'd like to practice coloring first, then deviantart has a large selection of horse lineart that you can use (just make sure to follow their rules).

The reason why your image didn't show up is because the URL didn't end with .pnd, .jpg or .gif. I'm not familiar with imgbb or it's linking options. But is you right-click on the image then select "view image" you can copy and use that URL.


Also, what art program are you using?

I am using Chrome Canvas. I had no idea I xould not tra e the picture. Sorry! Also thanks for the tips.
