Miniature Color Help

[center]

It seems that the interest in Minis has certainly increased, and before I change colors in my herd for more diversity, I'd like to ask the following:

Are the majority AVOIDING grays or do most of you not care about gray as it can eventually be bred out.

This is my current herd color breakdown:

7 Chestnuts
5 Gray (1 Black, 3 Chestnut, 1 Bay)
4 Bay
2 Black
1 Smokey Black
1 Classic Champagne

And I'm trying to figure out if it would be more beneficial to change my chestnuts or my grays (or a mixture).

Gah I'm making this more complicated than I need to ;)

I avoid grey. It's not a death sentence, lol, especially if there are fun pinto or appy patterns, but I avoid them.

Red bases are my favorite, so I wouldn't get rid of too many of your chestnuts, though 7 is a lot. :P

I'm almost thinking of keeping the grays to give me a project to breed it out. And yes, while I will keep some chestnuts, I think 7 is a bit much xD lol.

I'm thinking as I'm looking at this now (I can afford 8 applicators)

Changing 4 chestnuts, 2 grays, and 2 bays.

I'd keep the chestnuts a red base and the bays a black/bay/brown base and the grays to whatever...

It's so complicated with all these colors. Lol

"A horse is a horse of course, of course unless its Mister Ed!"

With that said, I will keep my grays. You never know... ; )

I personally like grays heh, especially now: I like to watch the transformation.
