There is a diagnosis!!

As some of you have know, I've been a little laid up for the last week and a half. After three doctors visits, the Orthopedic Specialist has told me my knee problems are "Patellofermoral Pain Syndrome" Aka Runner's Knee. Which I apparently have in both knees and are due to misalignment of my legs and unbalanced muscle development.

The Misalignment I've been working on for years, heavy duty insoles/sneakers with strong arch support.

The unbalanced muscle development is new to me, but I'm not surprised. Physical therapy for muscle gains and exercises here I came. Now I have no excuse to not exercise. xP

I also have a stronger pain meds and a prescription knee brace.

I love having an answer though. I've been fighting knee pain for years. And the fact it's not that hard of a fix (just lots of work) is amazing. :)

Not knowing what's wrong with you can be so frustrating! I'm glad to hear there's a solution and that it's not invasive. Good luck on your road to feeling better!

It's so annoying. It was always "if it hurts take ibuprofen" and now it's to the point ibuprofen doesn't always help. I'm just happy there's exercises i can do to relieve the pain. Muscle gains is an awesome positive.

For true pain sometimes ibuprofen is not enough. When I first became disabled one doctor kept telling me to take ibuprofen. After about 6 months of me still being in total pain all day every day, my primary said, "Clearly this isn't working." and prescribed me something that does help. I'm glad there are exercises to help you & you'll get healthy benefits from them.
