[ADDED] *Compare Pedigree Tool

I think like it would be nice to have a really simple tool that you can put two horse IDs into and it will tell you how/if they are related. It would make my buying decisions a lot simpler and faster.

This would be amazing! The only problem I can see is that not all of the horses from the old game have been imported into this game, but I suppose that the tool can ignore that. It's a bit of a gamble since you won't be able to tell exactly whether the horses are related through unimported horses, but it'd be super useful all the same, and it's not as if you can tell if they're related through those horses now, anyway.

I like this idea a lot. If I might expand on it, what about highlighting horses in pedigrees when they appear more than once? Like the color-coding you might see in the pedigrees of Thoroughbreds, for example (that is, Horse X appears twice so is highlighted in red in each place where he appears).

Oshiah, Abbey frequently checks these forums, so I'm sure she'll see it. :) By posting in this forum, we're essentially telling her about it, since she's the only one with the ability to implement changes to the game. It wouldn't make much sense to have a suggestions forum if Abbey didn't check it!

I'd be willing to pay EVC to have access to this feature or one similar.

This is brilliant! I could of used this yesterday! I really wanted a certain horse and was - [] < that close - to buying it as a mate for one I already owned. Luckily my brain cells woke up & I thought to check the pedigrees because the dam of the horse I wanted is the grand-dam of my horse!

yes!! my only concern is that it would probably be laggy (at least on my laptop) since the game has to scan through a tonn of horses to get you your results.

Totally support!! This tool would be soooo valuable when breeding my extended lines! I agree with Aggie, I'd pay in credits for it! ... And I also agree with Rising Dawn... The colour coding of lines, showing horses that appear or than one... Great idea! Would definitely be a big help in improving/diversifying lines...

I personally feel like taking time to compare pedigrees is part of the challenge in breeding. Automating it would remove a great deal of work and while I know you could still breed despite any relationships found, I think it detracts something.
