The Stables of Keldable Breeding Updates Form

#278306 Posted on 2025-04-19 18:15:24

This form is kind of an update of sorts for my breeding of foundation lines. So you all can know what Quarter Horses I am working on next, for what disciplines. As well as links to current divisions of Disciplines that are already completed. I start with a field of 24 foundations, which will increase to 26 the next time I get foundation line horses. I am split between buying foundation line foals, and training them to adulthood, or buying 3-year-olds. Which will most likely be the former instead of the latter, since I have become used to training my foals as well as any foals I rescue or buy. I chose to outright stop cubbing, which converting horses took too much EVD. I will still be keeping my experimental lines for breeding lower NSS out of High NSS lines.

The main reason for this form is for me to keep track of what generation I am currently breeding vs which Generation I have not bred. As well as highlight some key foals that I have bred with NSS of 49 or lower.

The first discipline on the list is dressage, of course, which was completed on April 7th, 2025. Out of the 24 pairs, 12 2nd-gen foals were bred with the highest Confo and Stats possible. All foals are located in the Stables of Keldable Dressage Foals G2. For public viewing, all foals are between 51 and 57 NSS that were bred to be keepers. 1 49 NSS foal was produced and was sold as a new player start-up horse. The total mares is 6, with a total of 6 stallions, giving me 12 horses to work with moving forward. Once these horses are fully trained, they will be placed in the Stables of Keldable G2 Dressage Division for shows and given the appointed tack for their discipline.

Driving clean lines, I am already working on and I have several foundations of this line who are at 17 and have been bred. I will breed these horses again at 18, 19, and 20 years, keeping only the best foals for the 2nd-generation Driving Quarter Horses while pairing horses for the New player start-up or selling them outright for 10k per horse. After these horses are done, I will start on the next line of horses, being Endurance.

Info will become available when the foals are being produced.
