Grade Horse foal height?

I am trying to breed some very tall (16+ hands) Grade Horses for endurance.  I have just bought a Chincoteague stallion with 8 NSS, and he's only 14 hands.  I know pure breeds have height minimums and maximums; is the same true of certain Grade crosses?  (To put it another way, if I use this stallion in my project, will I be able to get the average height back up to 16+ hands?)

can't remember for sure but i think foal height is only dependent on the parents' heights and not the breeds themselves. you should be able to breed above chincoteague height yes.
